First let me start by saying THANK YOU to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. It did me a world of good knowing I have so many great friends remembering me in prayer.

Second... it is soooooo good to be home. I was released this morning about 10 am. Had to go to WalMart to get a few groceries and my meds. I'm still on antibiotics and pain pills... will be for a week or two. I have to go back to see the doctor after the new year.

The doctor told me today that he really isn't sure exactly what is wrong with me. All I know for sure is I started out with fever and a rash then joint pain all over my body. From there it went to major pain in the upper right part of my back. The doctor did say I had a very mild case of pneumonia but he doesn't think that is what caused all the pain. He said something about Pleurisy. I had to look it up and this is what it says...

Pleurisy, also known as pleuritis, is an inflammation of the pleura, the lining of the pleural cavity surrounding the lungs, which can cause painful respiration and other symptoms. Pleurisy can be generated by a variety of infectious and non-infectious causes. The effects of pleurisy can often be felt long after the condition has gone away.

It has been a long week and I am just glad to be home. Now I just want to be pain free. Dr. said that may take a week or two before all the pain goes away. The pain pills don't work as well as the morphine pump but I'm glad I have the pills. Without them I wouldn't be able to move.

I'm feeling very tired right now and my back is hurting so I think I am going to take a pain pill and try to take a nap in my own bed.... I'm so glad to be back in my own bed. Six days in a hospital bed SUCKS!!

So again I say thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Please keep them up till I am all better. I will be sure to keep everyone updated on my progress. I'm going to go take a pill and take a rest now. Everyone have a great day.

Glad that you are out of the hospital! I can't imagine being there for 6 days, when I was there for 3, I was climbing the walls!

how funny that you would mention bed sheets. My room mate and I talked about that while I was in there. She is diabetic and was on a restricted diet. We talked of ordering a pizza and trying our bed sheets together so we could drop them down to the delivery guy so he could tie it onto the sheets. Then we could just lift it back up to the window. MMMM PIZZA!!

I am glad to be home and I wish I could know this would be a happy Christmas. Things are starting to get to me. Bills are piling up and people want their money. Being out of work for two weeks has hurt us in a bad way. It sucks being broke. But at least I have my family.... and everyone but me is healthy. I'm trying to be optimistic but it isn't working. My boss is being a major B&%#*. I'm trying to not let her get to me but I have a feeling after the first of the year I will be looking for a new job. I just hate how the company has handled this... or should I say how the company has NOT handled this. I have been there for two years this Feb. and I have bent over backwards to help them when they needed me. I have come in to work on my days off everytime I have been asked. I have never turned down hours.
In return I get no benifits, low pay (got one raise 3 months after I started), no vacation or sick leave and when I'm hitting rock bottom they couldn't care less about me, my family or my problems. Hell I didn't get as much as a Get well card. It just shows me what little value they have for me. Nothing like being in the hospital to let you know exactly where you stand with your employers.
sorry, not meaning to complain so much... just having a hard time with things right now. Thanks for letting me vent.

Yes Gary is a nice distraction from the pain and also from the snoring. My roomate was such a loud snorer. I had to take serious measures to make the shound go away. I just got a new cell phone a couple of weeks ago that is also an mp3 player. So I put cotton in one ear and put my blue tooth in the other and listened to Gary all night long. It helped to drowned out the snoring quite well. Thanks Gary for helping me through such a tough time.

Shrooms I am so sad to hear that you were sick! I was off for my surgery and couldn't sit at the computer to even go online. OMG the things you miss when you're away. I hope you are well now.

Thanks for responding... I know people have real lives and don't always see the posts. I'm not stressing over anyone who may not have seen. I just thank you for your well wishes now. I am all better now.
