Some of you might recognize my username, as I posted here in like March and April before the new board came along. The summer flew by and then school started up again, so I've kind of been MIA.
But, I just wanted to say "Hello!' again, and share a funny story about lyrics from a “certain someone.”
I've had final exams all week long (I'm a sophomore Lit major.) and on Monday I had my final for my Christian Morality class (I go to a Catholic school.). One of the questions on the exam was something along the lines of Christ's attitude towards wealth and material possessions. So I answered the question and somewhere in the middle of my affirmation I wrote that materialism does not matter to Jesus because His Father always takes care of us. And I just had this inspiration to write "the struggles make us stronger and the changes make us wise."
Haha. It's very true though! Now that I think about it, I probably could have fit the words "life is a beautiful ride" in there. But I doubt my professor would see the irony or my subconscious infatuation with one special country singer.
I thought it was something that you guys might be able to relate to and enjoy.
Off to study for biology...
