Oh there are so many.. 2 1/2 yrs ago I moved up to Kentucky with my horses so I could get some experience at the A circuit level on my thoroughbred Tim. I remember going into my first class jumping in the pre-green division and just thinking wow..the place was huge with really nice jumps..Tim did awesome he went out around that course and was just giving it all he got..I had some of the best rides of my show career up there. In the pre-green division I was competing against all professionals riding their clients horsesand trainers that I had read about and read their columns in the horse magazines. and there was me an amateur having the experience of a lifetime. I even had a couple trainers come up to me after my rides saying what I great job I did.. I didn't place in those divisions (did in a less competitive division) but to get the praise from those top trainers was unreal. I hope someday I can back up to that level..I am just glad I got the opportunity to do it once..

If you can imagine it you can achieve it if you can dream it you can become it.

Again my heart is with you....I have had horses all my life..and I know what a hole they leave when we lose one. They are my sanity and a true gift in my life. No matter what they are always there for me. I keep my boys out on our farm that we own. We rent the farm house out to a young gal and her 2 little kids. The oldest one 6 a girl likes to tag along with me while I am feeding them. It is a habit of mine to hang out with the horses for a bit after I feed them and Kendra and I were leaning up against the barn just listening to them munch and crunch....a few moments had passed and Kendra said "oh I just love that sound" I said so do I...that is why I like to hang out with them while they eat", a few more minutes passed and she said...."oh it just makes me feel all coco puffy inside" That just made my day...I had always tried to come up with a word that described that for me and she just nailed it on the head for me. Out of the mouth of babes smile.gif I hope your happy memories help you through this difficult time. *hugs*
