Well I made it down over Labor Day to pick up my husband from Fort Sam Houston...we made our quick trip to ATL, and then back home to MO to get our household packed up in two days. We then got back in the car and embarqed on the adventure to our new location Fort Drum. We have made it here, but unfortunately, we also found out he'll be leaving for Iraq at the end of the month. This will be deployment #3 for him...and sadly we haven't even found a place to live yet. So needless to say it wasn't quite the happy arrival we thought it would be...so any prayers for the next very long year & for a safe return after an almost 2 year separation would be greatly appreciated.

MAN! WHAT A TURN OF EVENTS, GIRL!! WILL DEFINATELY BE PRAYING FOR YA'LL! HEY, MY SON WAS STATIONED AT FORT SAM FOR A WHILE DURING BASIC. HE IS RESERVES.

Thanks everyone I appreciate it greatly!!! We kind of saw it coming, but it still doesn't suck any less. However, we are very fortunate that overseas communication has completely improved int he last few years, and we'll be able to stay in decent touch.
