the day has finally come and he has lost his battle w/ cancer.
he has always been one of my fav actors.
he has so many great movies and has entertained me for years.
my nephew Dalton is named after his character in roadhouse. i just had to break the news to my sister...i m so sad

Oh no! I hate to hear this. He is my favorite actor and has been for a long, long time. I will really miss him making more great movies. I do treasure the one's that I have. My prayers go out to his Family, Friends and Fans.

I'm so sad to hear of Patrick's passing. He was one of my favorite actors, too. So many great movies--Dirty Dancing, Roadhouse, Ghost, Point Break, The Outsiders. I even loved him in Tall Tale.

He fought so bravely against that vicious cancer. Brings back painful memories of my dad's own battle against the same kind of cancer.

RIP, Patrick. You deserve it. You'll be missed.

I'll say it again -- a lot of people complain about getting older. However, growing older should be cherished because not everyone gets the chance to do it.

As a fellow Arabian horse owner, Patrick is a great loss for our community. He was a great avicate for our breed.

He is one of my favorite entertainers. He will be missed greatly. Prayers for his family and friends at this time, but he is in a better place and out the pain that the cancer brought on to him.
