Finally found a item that's more difficult to shop for than those perfect pair of shoes or dress. A couple of months ago my favorite "old" backpack finally gave out while vacationing on Kauai.

Spent yesterday shopping for a replacement. While it was nice to see such a variety of packs now available, the choices are mind-boggling, and finding that just-the-right-one to fit my body was more difficult than just about any other shopping experience I've had.

After shopping all day I found success with the Gregory brand. Curious to see if there are any other backpackers around here. As always NB is my favorite for hiking boots and Keen for water activities.
