My son's kindergarten class does a list of words everyday starting w/ the letter they're working on for the day. Today he brought home the "G" list they were working on. Among all the other words, was " Gary Allan " and his teacher had written beside it "Jacob said this is your boyfriend's name".
Now, you have to understand, I am married to Jacob's Dad and the teacher knows him well. My hubby always says "There's your mom's boyfriend when Gary comes on tv or radio" I guess he'll have to change that now!
Unfortunately, his teacher had no idea who Gary is!! I'm going to have to do a little educating of my own!!

My four year old used to think that Keith Urban was part of our family b/c he was "always around"...radio, CD, TV, etc.

That is so adorable. Kids are so much fun.

Makes me think of my niece. She was obsessed with Keith Urban a few years ago, and had a poster hanging in her room of him, a friend of hers , both in Kindergaten at the time, asked if he was her dad, and she seriously answered her with a no, thats Aunt Denises boyfriend. The best of the whole thing is that I dont really even care for him look wise anyway, I like his songs and guitar playing a lot better than I like him. She even started planning a wedding for us. She would tell me details of the wedding , like everyone had to wear green dresses (her favorite color). I was not allowed to like Gary, because he kissed someone in a video she saw if him.

HOW CUTE!!!

LMAO. Santa seriously called me over to him at the mall the other day, and made me sit on his lap. He then asked me what I wanted for Christmas. Well I actually said first....a rockstar..and he asked me which one..and I said Steven Tyler...and he was like alrighty, I will definately see what I can do for you. Then I was like ahh, who am I kidding...scratch that...I definately want Gary Allan for Christmas...and yes Santa, you know who he is, a country singer, b/c you ARE Santa...he was like oh yeaaaaa.....I will get you Gary..lmao.

I have my fan club cards hanging from my rearview mirror in my truck and my grandson asked me who that was. I told him it was the best singer in country music and Grammy's favorite. Now when I ask him who is the best singer and he always says 'Gary Allan'. (Also much to my son's dismay I also taught him to say Jimmie Johnson is the best NASCAR driver!!)
