Hey all,

As a long time country music fan, I was saddened and shocked to hear that B&D have decided after their 2010 tour that they are done. I can remember as the assist. mgr. for a local music retail store in Rochester, right out of college, and playing the promo copy of "Brand New Man". I'd play it so often, people would ask "Who is this that is playing?" I used to sell it out and have to reorder the album (okay CD's and cassette tapes) three times a week! Times certainly have changed. Wow, why do I feel so old? Gonna miss this two as a duo. Wish them all the best.

So, what do you all think? Sure, change is good. Are you ready for Sugarland to maintain the duo of the next 20 or so years?

And just try and tell me you don't want to get up and dance when Boot Scootin' Boogie is played . Still love Brand New Man and Neon Moon.

Not ready to hear that much more of Jennifer Nettles!!!! I'll miss B&D, great music and sad to hear they're calling it quits!

Wow, that is shocking, and sad, news. I hope it's a decision they're both happy with, but man that's gonna leave a gap. And yes, for some reason this news makes me feel old too -- but alas a lot of stuff makes me feel old these days.

And no, I'm not ready for Sugarland to maintain "COUNTRY" duo from now on -- think I'll stop sharing my opinion on that one right there but I'm guessing you know what I'm thinking.

Wow... Just heard that and it's a big shock to me. I really hate it too.

Shut Up!!! Where'd you hear this? I heard a while back that they were doing solo "projects", but not breaking up??? I won't allow it!!! Somebody find me some dirt on both of them!!! Brooks & Dunn are like Peanut Butter & Jelly they're suppose to be together!!!

I'm absolutely stunned! Hopefully, they will have future collaborations. I do wish them the best of everything in all their endeavors.

I am quite saddened, but definitley understand. 20 years is a long time of making great music, and it's awesome that they are going out on top. They way they have worded it I wonder if one of them isn't quite ready to give it ALL up and might be headed solo?? That'll be odd, but anywho.. I wish them the best of luck. I am so thankful I have caught them live, and perhaps...just maybe I'll be able to get my hands on some Last Rodeo tickets.

Well, now that they have announced that next year's tour is it, I decided that I will go see B&D on Sunday! It will take me 1 1/2 hours to get there, but it should be worth it. I figure it will be my last time seeing the duo together. I'm sure they will both end up doing the solo act. Wonder what they will say about the split, if anything. "I'm gonna miss them when they're gone".

Love Brand New Man.... brought it to work a while back (NOT a country-friendly place....I only have one ally.. and she's not a Junkie ) and managed to win ONE of my coworkers over.... All hope is not lost....

The Brooks and Dunn concert at Irving Plaza in NYC was the best show I've ever been too.
