I didn't watch the whole thing. But caught about 1/2 an hour of it at the gym. It was alright, but I have to think uncomfortable for George and his family. It must feel kind of strange to have other performers up there doing your material and then the cameras looking for your reaction throughout that. I thought that part was kind of goofy. The idea of the show was fine but I would have had him and his family just in the front row and not looking so much for a reaction. What did you think?
BTW, I think Dierks could do many of his songs.

I have not gotten to watch this yet but am very excited too. I really wanted to go to the show since George didn't play Vegas this year but it was tooooo expensive! I caught a similar type event with Alan Jackson and thought it was nicely done. I agree with your take on Dierks - after George took him on tour I really noticed the George influence coming out in Dierks in a lot of ways. Hopefully I'll be able to watch the special this weekend!

i liked the show...the highlight of the night for me was Jamey Johnson & Lee Ann Womack's singing 'Give It Away'. i LOVE George; had his 1st album as a teenager & it's still one of my faves

I thought all of the artists did a great job and I was VERY impressed especially by Taylor Swift (Run) and Tim McGraw (Marina Del Ray).

Guess I'm in the minority. I would have rather George sing more. I'm not a big fan of people singing others songs, especially George’s. There is only one George! I thought Toby, Alan, and Brooks and Dunn performances were good. What was Jamie Foxx doing on there?

I havent watched the whole thing yet but from what I watched....it was pretty boring.
Also....Im pretty sure Kenny Chesney wasnt there....WHATS UP WITH THAT?!?!? He is really good friends with George and he is usually the one that is chosen everytime to cover Georges songs bc he always does a great job. Im disappointed that he didnt stick around to be a part of it....especially since this took place right after the ACM awards and all he did after the show was go to the Playboy Club!

Saw all of the show and enjoyed most of it. Of course I am a fan of Jack Ingram and happy to see him do the song All My Exes. And loved seeing Miranda and Blake do a duet. I too thought that George & fam should have been our front.

I liked it! I loved Jack's version of 'All My Ex's' and thought everyone did a good job. I loved seeing Garth on there, too. His expression as he watched George and everyone see @ the end was great, too.

I just wanted to mention that I was impressed with KU singing Marty Robins tunes. I enjoyed that. Also I was thinking today that we might have another King in Brad Paisley--He really can sing a song sorta like George does.

Usually I find these kinds of shows kind of dull, but not this one. When at the end George said "I'm glad I got to do these songs before the rest of you did," I agreed with his compliment (at least that's how I took it to be) that everyone did a great job. If they wanted to release a record with all of these different performances, I'd buy it. At the least I'm glad I recorded the show to DVD so I can review it in good quality and not accidently tape over it.

I wasn't very impressed with the show with a few exceptions like Jamey Johnson and LeeAnn Womack's duet. I would have liked to see George perform more. Just my opinion.

I enjoyed the show, but also agree that Gearge should have not be on display like that!! Also thought it was weird when John Rich, and Jamey Johnson had him sign there guitars. Think they could have done that after the show!!

I enjoyed the tv show but I will enjoy the concert this weekend more- I am going to Arlington and see George open the cowboy stadium. Blake Whooo hoo Shelton - Reba and Julianne will open for George. Not a fan of a big venue but looking forward to seeing him and all the others.

I enjoyed the show ...But, I thought Toby was the best of the night; and I'm not even a huge Toby fan...I thought Jamie Foxx was the worse... How could they do that to one of my favorite George songs!!!
I can honest even say I enjoyed KU & TS... Which is incredibly rare!!!
