Hey guys!!! I'm working tonight but off Sunday and Monday...We have been having tons of rain over here...so probably no beach for me on Monday We're planning a small get together for the basketball game tomorrow night..Magic vs Cavs..this series is pretty intense..My Magic are playing tough!!!

Jules-thanks for making a new thread for us. Glad you're having some good weather up there for a change. It must be nice if you're drying your clothes outside!

Over in our original thread I read where you all were talking about RHONY and RHONJ...I watched Both! And, the reunions too. The NY reunion was crazy! It sounded like The View with all of them talking at once! It got annoying after a while. But, I really liked when Luann "the Countess" said to Ramona, "you're really going to sit there and say that with your CRAZY EYES" ahahahahahaha! I've thought FOREVER that her eyes are wierd looking. I'm wondering if she had that procedure done where they remove the extra skin from the eyelids cause her eyes are just wide open all the time. either that or she's on speed or something. NJ cast is OK. That one divorced woman is nothing but a bore and ad a W to that word! Good lord! The other women who are basically incestual being married to brothers and them being sisters and then the other girl whose husband runs a "construction business"...well, THEY ARE IN THE MOB. I'm convinced. I mean, why would that one girl pay for EVERYTHING in cash? Didn't anyone watch the Sopranos? Hello! MOB! And, the houses they live in, their livestyle...yeah, they're in. Even The Brownstone; Jamie Lynn Sigler, who played Meadow Soprano, was married there in real life while she was on the show. M O B F A M I L Y

Steff & Sue-hope things are going well for you both and your family. I'm glad you had a good time at the songwriters series. That's so cool you have stuff like that to go to. Especially when Jimmy Wayne is there!!!!

So, the show last night was good. Gary came on at like 10:30 or so and was off the stage by 12:30. It was a late show with a drunk crowd! I was not one of those drunkards though. And, I think that contributed to my evening. I was highly annoyed with most of the people that were around me most of the time I was there. But, when Gary came on he was great. He looked great, sounded a bit horse but that just added to the hotness factor. There were a lot of smiles. I got some good pics; they are up on my myspace and facebook. I'm glad I went and I'm glad I got to see my first Gary show with Alicia. Next one though, I'm going to be standing by Alicia and I'm not going to go GA anymore. It was a late evening. Since the show wasn't over until 12:30 then we hung around a bit and then went to IHOP and then drove Alicia to her hotel. So, by the time Jen and I got back to the house it was almost 4. Thank Goodness I got to sleep in this morning since I had to drive back home today. It was a nice little road trip though.

No, it's official. No more concerts for me until August. Not sure how I feel about that. There are a few possibilities for some in July but they are both outside (HOT) and they are both GA (gag!) So, not sure about those. We'll see as we get closer.

Everyone enjoy the holiday weekend! I"m so excited that I have TWO days until I have to go back to work!!!!! YIPPEEEE!

HEY GUYS!! Just got done working ALL DAY with lack of sleep....not a good plan, I was getting cranky by the end.

The weekend was LOOOONG but AWESOME!! Im glad I finally saw a Gary show with Kalen....except I wish we had been next to each other (girl that took her VIP bracelet back didnt even use VIP!!). Grand Prairie was definitely my fav. of the shows.....and it really had nothing to do with the M&G!! lol The M&G was actually way too fast to even get excited about it....Im glad I have met him 2 times before that or I would have been really upset that 20 tries ended with THAT! lol I was front row center....uh, DUH! I got some good pictures. In Austin I didnt take any pictures....*GASP*....its true, I didnt take pictures! I took my Nikon DSLR and found out when I got there that no detachable lenses allowed and for the first time this month I didnt have my "back up camera" so I was stuck with nothing. I had fun anyways.

The biggest downside was actually what is usually my fav. part about concerts.....IHOP!! lol I love Ihop....its a after concert tradition BUT it made me miss my chance to chat with Brian!! I think Im bitter at Ihop! lol Next time I will get it to go!

I will probably do a detailed review on Myspace tomorrow....with a couple details left out.

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. We lucked out with weather. They were calling for some rain but we got sun and temps in the 80's instead. We did a lot of gardening and barbecuing. I went to a Yanks game at the new stadium on Sunday, it is soooo nice. We sat behind home plate. There was a lot of drama surrounding those seats because they are priced so high, luckily I got the tickets through my bf's company. They are worth every penny. Everything is free with the price of the tickets, food, drinks, private dining. I don't want to seem like I'm showing off but I have been going to Yanks game since I was a baby and nothing compared to those seats.

I just renewed my membership to the GAFC, I can't believe it's been a year.

Connie, congrats to Bret on his graduation.

Alicia, your pics came out awesome. You always take good ones. Cool to see that everyone had a good time at the Texas shows this past weekend.

Kalen, I really can't get into RHONJ yet. They seem really dumb. Not like the rest of the shows had geniuses but at least their personalities were fun to watch but this group are one dimensional: hair, nails, boobs, money. You guessed right about the mob connection. The father of the brothers who own the Brownstone was a big time mobster but was found n the trunk of a car in the nineties-true story. I also heard from people that have had parties at the Brownstone that they were a nightmare-bad service, bad food. I could have sworn Jamie Lyn Sigler got married at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens in real life? I could be wrong.

Well, finally recovering from my Lone Star Park experience! Have to say it was one of the best shows I have been to! That man was all smiles. Got some great pics! Had such a blast before the show visiting with everyone and gettin' silly! Doreen and Adrie....you two rock!! It was so much fun! Gotta do it again!! I know, if he comes back next year I will soooo be there! But not quite so early next time!! Ha! It was fun to see all my junkie friends again.

Hi, everyone! Bret loves his scrapbook and the memory boards were a big hit. The party went fine--2 guests ended up spending the night and about 5 others didn't leave until 3:30 am. I had a blast playing ROCK BAND with my 2 sons and several other guests. I'd never been brave enough to play before; I was the vocalist and did a pretty good job if I do say so!

It rained all afternoon and evening yesterday and all during the night and didn't stop until around 10:30 this morning. I'm ready for some sunshine now.

Those of you who just saw Gary--glad to hear you had a good time!

Steffie, the Yankees game experience sounds great!

Ok...been checking out tour dates....since my work is closed on Wednesdays Im finding all the shows that are on those days so I wouldnt have to ask off. Which ones sound the best....or all of them? Anyone be able to join me at any of these shows? Obviously the one closest to Texas would be my first choice....so that the plane ticket wouldnt be as expensive.

I was showing my mom and dad the pics you took and posted of the game and the fire hydrant and that brought up talk of a NYC trip this summer again!!!! YAY!!!! My mom had heard somewhere about the legends seats and how they have reduced the price because they were so high that they weren't selling well? Anyway, I'm going to aim for those if we go this summer.

Alicia-I'll have to check your pics later. I'm about ready to go to sleep and am waiting on clothes in the dryer.

Connie-sounds like you had a great time with your boys and friends at the party. When is your next concert?

Jules-Did you watch the latest episode of DC? I'm watching it now. I thought the season was over but I guess next week will be the ophelio season? I can't describe the crush I have on the Northwestern Crew. I honestly think if they were ever in my area for one of those promotional appearances like you told me about the other day...I WOULD SOOOO GO! To have a pic with Sig and Edgar...priceless. Almost as important as the one with Gary. LOL! Plus, I just dont' understand how those boats take those waves and ice. I could listen to them describe all day and probably still wouldn't understand. lol.

Those are the ones I have tickets for already. I am now giving serious consideration to Dierks on July 3rd and Gary on July 18th. They are both GA shows AND in July it will be H O T. So, I need to think about it some more. Plus, there is always that thing called money that I need to take into serious consideration.

Vicki-good to see you in TX even if it was little talk. I was about to freak out over those IDIOTS that were next to and behind me and Jen. I was so over them and the wait for Gary that I almost gave up. LOL! If I had been at home, I would have come home. That's how much fun I was having. You're right about one thing though, Gary was all smiles. I also think there was some flashing going on in the back of the crowd from girls on guys shoulders.

kalen~ohhhh yes i caught the most recent episode of DC. I won't miss it for anything...hehe. The are always 2 crab season, Alaskan King(aka red) and the Opilio crab. that is usually when the captian of the boat switch, for instance on the Time Bandit~Johnathan is capt for Kings and Andy(brother) is opilio, Wizard~Keith capt for Kings and I think Mouse(brother) is opilio, Northwestern Sig for Kings but i think he does the Opilio and Edgar continues as the deck boss...i think its just way cool they are doing what they love and its in the family ya know.
If I can figure out the Catch Con for next year in Seattle. I didn't find out till after the fact this year . I know on Sig's Facebook he posts stuff alll the time.

Alicia, those dates Kalen's talking about are on Eventful, I think. No tickets on sale yet.

The only concerts I have coming up is Billy Currington on Saturday at Billy Bobs then nothing until the Keith Urban concert in July. But I do plan on seeing Gary again when he comes back to Thackerville. Other than that, I have to take a break from concerts (so my bank account says).

Weather is perfect today. Only 70 degrees and no humidity.

Probably so. I saw the Thackerville one listed on Eventful. The OKC show was on the schedule but was removed. We will just have to wait and see if it gets put back on! Lets hope they will still be there later on! Looking forward to them for sure! Especially the Thackerville one. That's around the time of year he usually plays there so I am pretty sure it's gonna happen. He is a big draw for WinStar Casino.

Jules...they are going to the LA, Valley Center, and Laughlin shows.


Looks like the Miami, OK show on July 18th is looking like a possibility for me. I just need to make sure I have people to hang out with once I get there and then Im going to start booking things!!

Just bought my Miami show ticket....looking at flights. The flights are cheap but it looks like I have no choice but to ask off from work the next day bc even the earliest flight back isnt early enough to make it to work. So I guess I will need to break the news to my boss ASAP and go off of how he reacts on whether or not Im going to the show 100% for sure....right now its at 98%.

Now that school is done, not having homework to do after work is bizarre. I was thinking that all I really have left is my thesis and my class this semester was the final class of my life. What? Wow, it's crazy to think about it.

Has anyone heard of the new camera policy at Kenny shows beginning June 1st? It's posted on County Music Tattle Tale: NO CAMERAS ALLOWED AT ALL. Something about cell phones having video recording devices which spoils some agreements they have??? Well excuse me, Kenny-let's take the fun out of everything. I know that this is a business but must everything come down to money? Why would you place such recording restrictions in contracts in the first place? Lawyers haven't figured out that when you hold a concert with thousands of people there could be a CRAZY possibility that one of those people may have a camera and might post it somewhere? Not for monetary gain but to share with friends. FYI: I may want to take a camera to capture memories of my friends too not just what goes on on stage.

I think I'm getting too upset over this but I needed to vent.

That is crazy!!! I think he's gettin' a bit too big for his britches, if you ask me!!!

They've reinstated the taking of STILL PHOTOS only again. Lots of Kenny fans complained.

See, I think even places w/ no camera policies (such as HOB ); should allow "disposable" cameras...Most people aren't taking pictures to screw anyone over; they want to keep a memory...Disposables "never" get great pictures. But, at least they would allow you to get "some" picture; w/o whoever worrying about "videos" showing up on the web!!!

Hello everyone! Glad to see this back.

RHONJ - do not really like. Even more catty than on the New York version.

I DVR all my shows now and since it is summer, not much is on.

Still recovering financially after being unemployed for 7 1/2 months, so no concerts for me unless local. My new job has a "season" and cannot do road trips during the summer (concert season). So unless artists want to start touring in November, I cannot go out of town. So I can only see Kenny when he comes around here.

Luckily Gary is playing close near my wedding anniversary, so I get to see him in September.

Keith Urban is not playing Northern California (Fresno does not count) this tour, so unless he adds it at the last moment or does Florida in the Winter, then no Keith.

Steff.....if Kenny did that I think he would lose more fans even faster than he already is. His star is already burning out....but that would definitely dim it more quickly.

They need to allow detachable lens cameras....most of them dont do video, so you would have to worry about that.

Im all about cameras....thats my main thing at shows, so if he were to do away with them completely I dont know if I would go see him anymore. Actually...in all honesty....I dont think Im going to go see him again anyways. I think Im officially moving on from Kenny....we will see how things work out next year, I might have to go see him once just to make sure I dont have regrets.
