I don't remember the last time I was on here. It feels like I have dropped off the face of the earth lately.

Kalen, sounded like you had one heck of a vacation. Very nice.

So the Yanks are headed to the series. This should be interesting. There are so many Phillies fans in my office. If they win, I might just have to quit my job because I will never hear the end of it.

STEPHANIE---You're back! Good to hear from you! Did Sue tell you to check back in? Come on, tell us the truth It feels to me like you've dropped off the face of the earth too! I mean, I used to talk to you on here and then Twitter and then FB, but you really don't do any of those anymore. But, like I said, I had no idea how the Yankees were doing in the game Thursday night until I saw your FB update and then I started watching it on the TV's in the bars and restaurants in Palm Springs and following it on my phone. hey guys, how is life, mine is ok....my oldest and youngest both have the h1n1 virus...they are on Tamiflu, and seems to be working =] they will be home from school until atleast thursday.

Getting ready for a trip to Nashville, my first time there, and excited to meet many junkies!!!

Sorry about your babies being so sick. A friend's two sons were sick with the virus. The first couple of days they were so achy, with a really high fever and horrible headaches. Then it was over almost as soon as it began. The docs said the key was getting them on Tamiflu EARLY and at the first sign of symptoms.

I received my CMA tickets in the mail yesterday. I am so ready for the Nashville trip.

Courtney, I look forward to meeting you. I believe we are sharing a room with Memer and someone else, though I don't know who that is.

CAN"T freakin WAIT!!!!. I've already started getting outfits together lol.

Connie...I just noticed in one of your posts that you are having some problems with Bret, and not to do with his seizures. What is it? Is it the normal trials and problems that come with being in college??

Barb...if it will make you happy to lose weight, MORE POWER TO YOU!! Dont do it for anyone else though, just do it for yourself. I understand how it is to not be fat but still not being completely happy with yourself (though unlike you and Vicki, Ive never ever been a twig). Best of luck with Jenny Craig...I hope it works. Keep us updated on your progress. Great pictures from the Dallas show. Thanks for sharing them with us. I wish I had been there.

Laura....glad you had a good time in Chicago!! Even if it didnt start out great...at least it finished on a high note and hopefully made ALL the troubles worth it. As for Supernatural being a re-run....GRRR!

Kalen, Welcome back from your vacation!! Im happy to hear you had a good time at all your shows. As for the roof of Houston Stadium during the Kenny show....wasnt that right after Hurricane Ike?? Maybe that had something to do with them not opening it during Kenny?? *shrugs*

As for updates on me....Bo and I are still "normal", lots of bickering and making up. We get Morgan this weekend...I cant wait!! Oh good news.....I GOT A JOB, SORTA!! lol I pretty much got a job at a day care...just got to go in tomorrow morning for a "trial day". They like to make sure before they hire someone that they will be able to handle the pressure and see how they interact with the kids. So pretty much as long as I dont snap on any kids tomorrow....I HAVE A JOB!! Granted, Day Cares dont pay much....but any money is better than none and its got the hours I want to work. ALL WEEKENDS FREE!! Woo hoo!! This is the beginning to being able to go to concerts again. Once I get all caught up on things...then I will start checking out tour dates again.

Hey, a little bit of news for me girls! I am moving in with my Tim this weekend! It's been coming for a while. I spend all my time there anyway! So, we are gonna give it a shot! Woo Hoo! I love my man!!

Vicki, congrats on moving in with your honey! I hope it all works out for the two of you. To me, that is the next step to find out if it is really meant to be.

Alicia, I hope the job works out for you. I know it takes a special person to take care of children all day long and I believe they don't get paid near enough. Hopefully it will be enough for you to see a few concerts soon.

My first week on Jenny Craig I only lost 2 lbs. but at least I didn't gain 2 lbs. I'm hoping for more lbs. lost this Monday when I weigh in. I've been doing lots of walking too. My biggest problem is giving up my morning Dr. Pepper.

Alicia, congrats on your new job! Thanks for asking about Bret. It's been a few weeks now, so I'm calmer and accepting his decision. He has decided not to return to college for the 2nd semester. He hates living in the freshman dorm and feels like he's unble to sleep well. He says that the theater department isn't as good as he thought it would be and he's very unhappy right now. He likes the school and the town but he feels that he's not truly learning what he needs to in order to pursue his passion.

He's going to move back home and try to find a job for now. He says he needs time to think. I know it's his life but I can't say I'm not disappointed. Of course, he's always had to work hard at school (unlike his older brother). I told him that come January I won't pay for his phone anymore, so he'll have to switch it over in his name or go without. I also said that he'll have to find and pay for his own health insurance (or go without) and pay for his own anti-seizure meds which will cost him a heck of a lot more than what I pay for them.

Connie....Im sure Bret is a little overwhelmed. I was the same way when I went to college...I dont think anyone truly understands what college is all about until you get there and it can be overwhelming. I might be wrong but from all I have heard you say about him, he seems like he was really close to you and just like me, that probably played a part in him not taking to college life too well. I dropped out halfway through my second semester bc I slipped into a really deep depression. I understand that you would be a little disappointed...but its not over. Its a good thing for him to find himself and know exactly what he wants to do before wasting time and money on something he isnt sure about. Im sure he will make you very proud of him....it just might take a little longer than you had hoped bc he needs some time to figure himself out first. BEST OF LUCK TO HIM!

Today at work I finally got to keep the kids by myself with no other adults helping....13 kids at once!! it was actually pretty AWESOME! lol I think I like it better when Im by myself. There definitely is never a dull moment!

I hope everyone is having a GREAT week so far. My last week or two has been less than perfect.....honestly, probably the worst weeks Ive had in awhile. Its starting to look back up though...Im trying really hard to get things back to how they were a couple months ago, I want to be REALLY HAPPY again. Im so tired of tears and hurting on the inside...I need smiles and warm fuzzy feelings back.

Connie..thats tough about Bret..I remember the advise my brother gave me was to stay home and take one or 2 classes @ the community college until i find what i want to do...I was accepted into my favorite school (UM CANES!) but i took his advise...it took me a few years to realize i wanted to be a nurse, i would have wasted sooooo much $ for nothing...just have patience but its good to give him responsiblities..best of luck!

Alicia and Bren, thanks for your words of wisdom regarding Bret and college. We are pretty close and I think it has been rough on him. He recently got some positive words that he told me about. It seems that his oral communication professor told some administrators (including the new president of the university) about how well Bret's presentations are and that he's one of the best this professor has seen in years. The dean of enrollment and the university president asked to meet with Bret (at the same time). They had heard he was going to leave at the end of the semester and wanted to encourage him to stay. They basically offered him a job (after graduation) speaking on behalf of the school. That made Bret feel really good, even though that type of job doesn't interest him right now.

Alicia, I'm sorry to hear that you're having a rough time right now. If you need someone to talk to, I'll be here for you!

Hey guys! just dropping by to check in. I dont have too much to say. Not much has been happening with me. I have had my class of kids at the day care by myself a couple more times now...one of the days was fine and the other was HORRIBLE! lol I finally got my first "birth control" day! Fifteen 3yr olds is a lot to handle when they are wanting to throw tantrums and not listen. Oddly enough that day still didnt scare me away from the job.

This weekend I had Morgan the whole time pretty much by myself. Bo had to work the whole weekend so pretty much the whole time was just me and Morgan. I had a great time with her and she absolutely had a blast with me....I just kept her doing fun things. There was a little awkwardness today though when I dropped her back with her mom (Morgan cried and kept telling me that she didnt want to go with her mommy). I think her mom is finally starting to see how close Morgan is getting to me and the little green jealousy monster is starting to raise its head. I really hope she doesnt start getting weird and possesive over Morgan spending time with me.

I hope everyone that had shows this weekend or has shows coming up soon has/had a GREAT time!

Connie....thats great news about Bret! If he is that smart then you really should have nothing to worry about, he will make the right decision for him. Im sure that made him feel so good inside that they would say that to him. Best of luck to him.

BUT HE WAS JUST TOO CUTE ABOUT IT SO I DID GET UP AND GO OUT AFTER HE GOT THROUGH WITH IT AND HELPED HIM HOLD IT WHILE HE CUT IT UP INTO HAMS AND SUCH. GEEZ...THE THINGS I DO FOR THAT MAN! Monday I took my poor puppy to get neutered..it was really hard for me to leave him at the vet...Frank called me to see how I did and i just started crying...he did great but he had a rough nite and so did I..i slept with him but he kept sleeping in different areas of the house..frank found me sleeping on the floor of our bedroom with Jack...but Jack's doing better and he's starting to get his appetite back...
I'm kind of sad that i wont have anymore concerts this year...but Billy Currington said he was playing in Key West in Dec so I'm goin to try to head down there for that...I saw Rodney A is having a concert in Jan that we're planning to go to...I'm waitng to see if Gary has any concert in FL next yr...
I literally just got home from Tampa..I went to check out the nrsing program at USF because I want to do my masters...I think I'm glutten for some punishment...Tampa is about an hour away from my house and i would only have to go to campus once a week...lets see how that goes....

I wonder if their ratings start going way up if they'll change their mind and give us at least another season!!!? Alicia/Connie-I sometimes catch DWTS and I'm voting for Kelly. She is my favorite! OMG! JUST saw that Erin Carter was voted off last night and CRYING?!?!? Geez!

Just watched CMAs and NOT HAPPY ABOUT TAYLOR winning EOTY. Also, not happy about Julianne Hough presenting with MY MAN Dale Jr. He looked so stinking' cute!

Vicki-I'm happy for you finding the man and all, but do we have to hear such DISGUSTING stories about the wildlife and butchering? GAG! I'm right there with ya about wanting some 2010 dates around me! I'm hoping for DIERKS, Luke Bryan & Gary (of course).

What did everyone think about the CMAs? I'm SICK that Taylor won everything. She deserved album but not female singer and DEFINELTY not EOTY! I have other thoughts but I'll wait and share later.

I think she's "highly" over-rated!!!

I'm not sayin' the girl isn't talented (although I don't particularly care for her)...

I'm not sayin' she's not a perfect example of how to raise a child...('Cause with all the fame she's gotten in such a short amount of time; she could be REALLY screwed up by now.)


All I'm saying is if she wasn't so young...She wouldn't have gotten one-third of all the publicity (and considerations) that talented artist in their 30's & 40's have to FIGHT for on a daily basis!!!

I agree on TS...she's talented alright, but others have worked for years and don't get the recognition. It seems like these young ones are getting it just too fast...let them really work for it like the older one's have to.

As for the CMA's, I just don't watch them any more unless I know Gary will be on there somewhere. The same people keep winning and they just really don't excite me any more. I know who the best entertainer is and who has the best songs, so why bother. I would love to see Gary start winning some awards.

Well...this old gal has really gone and done it now! At this moment I am sitting here barely able to sit. On Monday evening Tim and I were out riding our horses and this kid came up out of nowhere on a bike real fast and spooked my Candy Girl and she turned to the left real quick, and unfortunately I turned to the right! Blame it on lack of experience I guess. There I was, trying to get adjusted in the saddle and next thing I know I am flying to the hard, hard ground. I don't know if I kicked her making her think she was supposed to "giddy-up" or if the kid on the bike caused it, but next thing I know~~all I feel is excruciating pain!!!! I laid there for a couple minutes just to make sure nothing was broken, but was able to get up. I tried to get back on her (isn't that what you are supposed to do? Besides, I was so mad at that horse....I just wanted to show her she was not going to get away with that!) But unfortunately my body was yelling "ouch!!!!!" so I decided against it! I walked about a block toward the house then Tim called his son to come get me. I got in the tub and soaked in some HOT water for a while but the pain was unbearable. Tim was trying to help me out of the tub but I passed out. When I came to, there I was, still in the bathtub but I managed to get out. Tim dried me off and got me dressed. By then, his son Joe had already called the ambulance. This was my second wild ride of the night! So to make a long story short, after x-rays and ct scan there we no broken bones. But I have a bruise the size of a large dinner plate on my backside because I landed flat on my rear just like I was sitting down. This of course, jarred the rest of my spine. Dr. is still thinking there may be a compression fracture in my upper back because I do hurt quite bad in that area. They will do another x-ray on Monday after some swelling goes down. And I am putting an ice pack on the bruise on my posterior to keep that blood clott from running amuck. Today has been my first day to venture away from the house. The walls are closing in on me. But the more I move around the less I hurt so maybe I will survive this thing!! Needless to say...my employer is not real happy with me at the moment! But you know what? Stuff happens. I refuse to stop enjoying life outside of work just because I have a job. Everyone else lives their lives, why can't I? People ride motorcycles, airplanes, you name it and still have jobs. And if you get hurt..you deal with it! Anyway, just to let you know....yes, this old body is still very, very sore and I know I will be for a while! So, prayers are always appreciated girls! I need to get back to work!

I totally forgot about seeing Gary this month and just realized I’m seeing him next Thur. For a split second I though I missed him---thinking it was this past Thur. Thank goodness I didn’t miss him!

Vicki, I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you get to feeling better soon. I laughed about your pig skinning story. My husband hunts deer all the time but he takes his to a meat processor. I don't even like looking at the deer if he brings it home first let alone help him skin one.

Alicia, hope the job is going well. I hope Morgan's mom doesn't get too jealous about Morgan liking you so much. But it's a nice feeling to know that she does.

Not much going on with me lately. Just concentrating on my diet and doing a lot of walking. I've been getting a couple of miles in as soon as I get home from work. I don't know how much I will be able to do once the weather gets cold but I will try.

Hope everyone had a great time at their concerts this week if anyone went. I hear the Ryman show was awesome.

Hey ladies, just me checking in again. Still in a lot of pain but dealing with it. The bruise on my right posterior has now spread to the other side and up the spine. Not a pretty sight! But I guess I asked for it, getting on the ole nag! Tim of course is blaming himself. But I keep telling him...I made the decision to get my fat a#%$$ up on that horse, not him! So, hopefully the doc will let me go back to work at least light duty tomorrow and I can get on with my everyday routine. I did manage to get up this morning and clean the kitchen and do a couple loads of laundry but I am paying for it now. Will be a long road to recovery I am sure. Still not able to take a deep, deep breath. Don't know what's up with that. But we will see what's going on in the morning. Thanks to all for the well wishes.

Glad to hear the new Gary CD will be out in February. That's what I need to cure what aches! Hee!

And guess what ya'll....Tim's son is giving me his computer! It has the old type monitor but the computer part is brand new.!!! Woo hoo! No more having to go to the library!!! I should have it in a couple weeks!

That is a "woohoo" 'cause the tower is always the expensive part of the computer. I don't know if it's true around you; but around here they're alway having screen sales!

Laura....I have heard lately that a 6th season is not totally out of the question for Supernatural. Its really just about paying Jensen and Jared more money to keep them around. Did you hear that Jensen is engaged to Danneel now. POO POO ON THAT!

As for the CMA Awards...wasnt shocked at all with who won except Lady A taking group. Not saying they didnt deserve it but I just figured Rascal would still have it in the bag. Dont like that Taylor won EOTY but I wasnt surprised at all. To be honest, she has gotten big so fast...it wont last, at least with everyone else we love they have grown slowly and their careers will have longevity. As for Kenny....him being there with his mom, does that mean him and Amy are no longer together?

But it is small and if not better by next week will have to go in and "extract" it! Ouch! But as far as the compression fracture in the upper spine-Doc says it could take up to 6 weeks to heal. Gads! I didn't see anything posted about Amy. Nor do I know anything about their situation. You know Kenny's significant others rarely make appearances at these shows, so I wouldn't make a judgment just on the fact his mom was with him.

The drama on the boards was mostly about Taylor winning. I think it’s fair to say everyone over there was disappointed Kenny didn’t win, but it was more about people feeling Taylor shouldn't have won and not so much that Kenny didn’t. As a result it brought at the ugly in people (Taylor fans vs Kenny fans) and some behind the scene drama emerged onto the boards and well…it was just a train wreck...one I couldn't look away from.

I really thought it was Brad’s year.

I'm glad the weekend is almost here! Don't have any plans but hopefully it will be a good one because the last few haven't been too much fun. Well, with last weekend excluded. The ones before that weren't so much fun.

It's gotten cold here. It's not bad during the day but at night it's COLD! I hate it! I want to move to the desert BAD now! lol.

As far as my lil mishap...the outside is healing up just fine. Now I am have a lot of pain coming from the inside. Starting to scare me. Have another appointment with Doc on Monday and we will check it out. May have to go to an internest to see what's going on inside.

I broke up with my southern boy. Relationship got too series too quickly and he was not a good guy, in fact, he was a bad guy. I'm glad i'm out of it.

So I listen to Pandora at work. For people who are not familiar with it, you type in a genre or station and anything will come u song wise. One of my stations is "Christmas", yes, I have already started to listen to Christmas songs, anywho, Gary Allan's Please Come Home Christmas popped up. I have listened to Pandora for two years and that has never happened!

Stephanie-Don't you just LOVE Gary's Christmas songs??? Alicia called me last December when she was in Vegas during him singing "O Holy Night" I couldn't believe he was singing it! But, it was good. I mean, what wouldn't be good with him singing, right? But, it's still to early for Christmas music of me. We have two radio stations here in town that started playing NOTHING BUT CHRISTMAS MUSIC ON HALLOWEEN. WAY to freakin' early!!! I only like Christmas music a little bit on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. THAT'S IT! Sorry to hear about your breakup but it sounds like it was for the best. Sorry he was a "bad guy". I just filled out my "official" fan club info for the "Vegas Sound Check Party". VERY EXCITING!!!! I also got an email saying my tickets should ship soon. I can't believe I ordered them in January! So, everyone going to Vegas needs to fill that out!!! It's VERY exciting.

I had a VERY quick trip to Kansas City yesterday and got home about 7 tonight. Only 1 1/2 days to work for the week. I'll probably go in for a bit on Friday but not all day. I still need to go see Twilight.

Not a chance...Esp. since a lot of the stores have a lot of their deals online...Unless they allow "screwdriver in-hand" (and I'm not talkin' about the home improvement kind)...NO!!! I know there are some people that get off on the "rush"...I have never been one of them...I just can't see the sense in getting up at 4am (yes. I checked. Did you know there's actually a 4AM too??? ) to get into a cold car...drive to a packed store...get shoved on, stepped on & b*tched at!!! Not my idea of fun!!! Erin, Kenny took Amy to the last awards show he was at so I figured if he took her to one that he would probably take her to the rest. Thats why I found it odd that his mom was there instead.

Kalen...believe me, you are not the only person thats shocked about how I turned around. Even Im still shocked. I think its completely to do with Bo....I have never been in love with anyone but him and so I never saw marriage or a family in my future but now that I have him, I see those things. If him and I break up....I will once again turn into the same ol' "Im never having kids or getting married." Alicia that you know and love. It probably also has to do with my age....scientists say that the mid-twenties is usually when women really start getting the "mommy bug". oh, and I expect a pay back during Vegas this year...I need some concert calls!

Laura...I have been watching Supernatural, didnt see anything that made me want to throw something at the TV though. What were you talking about?? As for Danneel and Jensen looking like they belong together...they are both good looking. She is really skinny and has fake boobs (imagine that)...but not anorexic at all, she is very toned. I have been told that she isnt very nice in person though.

I stayed in the house on black Friday, Im with Laura....NO WAY AM I GOING TO PUT MYSELF THROUGH THAT!

My long weekend has been sooooo boring. Bo has been hunting the whole time, so I have been staying at my parents house. I havent left the house at all. I cant wait for him to get back tomorrow. I miss him so much. We are doing really good these days. On Dec. 8th we will be together for 6months. Sure, it doesnt sound like a long time but when you consider that my longest relationship was 7yrs ago and only lasted a month....ITS A BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR ME! We have been talking more serious lately. Im excited. Oh...I thought I should tell yall that I went to meeting with Bo last weekend....uhhhh, didnt dig it. lol If it werent for Morgan being there, there would have been no way that I could have sat there the whole time.
