ITS ALMOST FOOTBALL SEASON!! Watching the pre-season scrimmage thingy of Cowboys vs. Raiders right now.

Since I have decided to pretty much give up concerts completely...Im definitely going to go to at least one Colts game! Im going to splurge and try to get as close to front row 50yrd line as I can get. Whoot Whoot! I guess I need to check their schedules.

tonight is the first night in almost a month that Im staying at my own house instead of with Bo....its weird. I just figure I need to spend a little more time with my parents, especially with everything that has been going on. I still wish I was there with him though.

Hey ladies! How is everyone today? I am doing good. Getting ready for work...blah... kids are on day 2 of school...and they are riding the bus this year..not because they have to but because they want to....so of course i go with them to the end of our driveway....and wait after school. Yesterday I followed the bus and met them at the school...I am a goof-i know....but i love my kiddos and this independence makes me kinda sad!!

Alicia-sorry about all the stuff going on in your life, i think it is good that you spend some time with your family. even if you don't really talk to them much while you are there it probably means the world to them that you are there just in case they need you. Maybe Bo could come there with you to show extra support to you and your family.

DP- I think he will get over it eventually...boys are silly! I love him and so i am trying to be considerate...however I also love Gary...so he needs to be considerate!! lol... I just hope he realizes it is a different love...i am not a "katheryne walker" I just enjoy his music and going to the shows. lance my only "true love" I think all in do time things will be fine!

kalen- are you ready for thackerville?? I am bringing my boss...so i will be good this concert--lol....she has never been to a Gary concert or really heard any of his music. I am burning her a disk of the set list so she can learn the songs and sing along! are we meeting up? I sure hope so! I had so much fun with you at Buffalo Run! send me your digits! lol

Courtney, there are 2 sides to our kids getting older, isn't there? On one hand, their increasing independence is good because you don't have to constantly hover around and do for them, but on the other hand, it is kind of sad that they don't need you as much. I've been there, so I know how you're feeling.

Only one more day now until I get my Gary fix. It's been such a dull and boring summer for me, I'm looking forward to a little fun.

Alicia....hate to tell ya girl, but yep....the novelty does wear off and they get to the point that they are not all "lovie-dovie" any more. Hate to say it, but it happens! When guys get more comfortable in a relationship that's what happens. My Timmy is the same way right now. I wouldn't read too much into it!

Hello ladies!!!

I saw Keith last night and…well… I don’t have to tell you how great he was. But I did want to share some interesting info. Barb, if I recall correctly we talked about the fact that no seats in the front center section were to be found, not by pre-sales, brokers or TM. Well very LONG story short I got my ticket 2:30 pm yesterday off of TM. 4th row. Three different people sitting around me said they got their tickets that day too, just like me. One couple walked right up to the box office at 6:30 and got tickets. I don’t know why they would be holding so many tickets just to release them at the last minute? I can understand a handful but three people who just so happen to mention it to me. What if I took the time to ask more people? To boot it was madness--the chairs were not marked with numbers or LETTERS! It was just a sea of red chairs. We of course stacked all our chairs up and made room to move. If I paid big bucks thru a broker I would not have been a happy camper. Surprisingly we didn’t get pushed that much, there was a lot of room. I think there were a lot of great tickets *never* sold. Just a FYI for anyone seeing Keith anytime soon. O’ and he signed my ticket!!!

Bren, have fun in Key West….I fell in love with that place last March…when a certain someone played for 4 ½ hours:) Kenny could have something to do with that, but I think the island won my heart alone.

Barb...lol Tell me about it! the Cowboys stunk that scrimmage up! They didnt have the starters in the game for a lot of the time though which might have been part of the reason. As for giving up concerts....I really wish I didnt have to but with the truck payments starting up (and me actually having a personal life for once), its just going to be really hard to do. Obviously if I have extra money laying around at any point in time I will have to try and find me a show to go to.

I told my dad that I wanted to go to a Colts game this season and when we were watching the Cowboys scrimmage it advertised the Giants vs. Cowboys game in the new stadium and my dad said "Did you see that?" and I said "Yes. What about it?" and he said "You said you wanted to go see a game...there is the Giants vs. the Cowboys." and I pointed at myself and said "COOOOLTS." lol He said "Whatever." lol Sounds to me like someone wants to go to a Cowboys game and is hoping I will go to one and take him w me! I guess he hopes that Little Manning will make me want to go...but its BIG Manning that Im wanting to see.

Bo has Morgan this weekend...I came home early this morning! lol I couldnt sleep at all! For a 4yr old....that girl takes up A LOT of space! She sleeps in the bed with us...its a King sized bed, Bo sleeps in between us. Well...throughout the night she always tries to get really close to him and he doesnt like that so he moves closer to me....well, I DONT LIKE THAT! lol I had literally 1/8 th of the bed to myself (only way to fit was to lay directly on my side) and NO PILLOW!! lol I finally couldnt take it anymore and had to leave to be able to get some sleep. I know he hates it when I "sneak out" but I just couldnt take it anymore...I woke him up a couple times and told him to move over and a couple other times he would wake up on his own and move Morgan over more to her side of the bed....but it just kept happening. I told him that I guess from now on when he has her I will just take my own pillow and sleep on the floor. lol

Well....I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far!

Hello everyone!

I'm back from vacation (yesterday) and am reading back on the boards.

I don't want to point out anyone specifically because Ill forget someone but to everyone who's enjoying some good times, keep it going and to everyone who has hit some bumps recently, I'm thinking of you and hoping things will improve quickly. How good it will feel when things return to where they should be.

Vacation took us to Gettyburg PA and Arlington Vermont. I thought Id be bored at Gettysburg but I reallllyyy enjoyed it. It is actually quite emotional on the Battlefield thinking of what had happened there. I also got to tour the entire field on horseback. Well being a city girl and all it was my first time on a horse and I was beyond terrified but once on the trail - I loved it and am thinking about riding here in the city.

And since I'm a Ghost Hunters fanatic, we did a ghost tour and a ghost hunt complete with equipment - hilarious but we caught something! Thank god something happened bc I felt RIDICULOUS.

My uncle has a place in Vermont so we spent the rest of the vacay there.

Ok, going to the beach.

Connie-HOW WAS GARY LAST NIGHT? I'm dying to hear if there was any mention of his past week in concerts with the stage collapse, borrowing equipment and then someone hitting his bus in Colorado. I'm sure he was great.

Courtney-how's married life going? You know, I've got to tell you that I DO NOT UNDERSTAND the jealousy that seems to come about with people I know and their SOs (significant others) over Gary. Like you said, first of all, the likelihood of something "happening" with him is really small to nonexistent. Secondly, do the men not think that we know they are checking out other women ALL THE TIME on a daily basis? They THINK "nice rack", "nice legs", "she's hot" and they don't actually say it out loud but we all know they're thinking it. It just seems like a one way street to me and is 100% unfair. I would say that it stems from insecurity. Now, if it were a money issue, things would be different. But, in your case, you said he's going to the OU football games so what's the difference? A friend of mine put it this way, "he likes going fishing and I like going to concerts. It's our INTERESTS so why should I have to stop doing something I enjoy and he doesn't?" And, she's right. Now, I am single and I am able to see things from a different perspective but I can say with 100% certainity that when I do get a BF, or god forbid husband, that if he pulls some of that jealousy &#^#% on me, he's either going or will know better than to do it again. Just because you think someone is hot doesn't mean anything and it's not rude. I mean, you're going home to his bed not the other guys! LOL! K. Sorry, I got on a rant about that. I can also tell you that some of that same jealousy is going on with someone very close to me right now and I can't stand it! I think it's dumb and ridiculous and does nothing but start fights. SO...with all that said, what's your status on Gary's Thackerville and OKC shows? I'm still not sure about the OKC show. It's a really long story. I'd like to go but not sure if I can afford a place to stay overnight by myself and who all would be there and such. I may just have to wait until closer to the show to know for sure.

Alicia-sorry things were upside down with your family. It sucks when it gets that way. It completely throws you off! What happened with your sister? Has she ever done that before? As far as marital problems...I can totally relate sister!!!! It sucks! And, I'm not even at home to deal with it all. I was cracking up at your story about sleeping with Mo. When I kept Eden and Cooper here a few weeks ago, I didn't get much sleep either and I too was HUGGING the edge of the bed. At one point they were both literally perpendicular on the bed. I was afraid Eden would fall off the bed in her sleep and it's a long ways down. And, what's up with all the squirling around in their sleep??? GEEZ! I did see all your comments on the SL pics. Glad you liked them! That was a very, very good show! A friend of mine is wanting me to go see thier headline show on 9/11 but I'm not sure. Jennifer gets on my nerves when she performs. I might have to be a Sugarfan in audio only. Can't do in person. LOL!

All of you all talking about football...cracks me up! I know so many females that are excited about football season. I'm only excited for OU football because that's the ONLY football I like. I am extremely disgusted with the NFL for letting that !ickweed Michael Vic back into the NFL. And, I think he's getting entirely too much press. He should have been banned for life and then had to work at an animal hospital or shelter. Or better yet, let's tie him up and let some of the dogs lose on him. OMG! It INFURIATES ME! I hope he gets knocked unconscious on the field. He's going to be on 60 Minutes and he just said he thought it was cool, fun. OMG. I don't know if I can watch it. INFURIATING!!!!

Kaylen---Hecks ya for OU football!! you will have to come to some of the games with me....huh...maybe that is his problem...that i tend to do both..OU & Gary...lol... As far as Thackerville goes...I AM THERE!! AND WE BETTER MEET UP! i need your number....and for OKC....I have 2 couches & a futon...lol...so whatever is clever...I am waiting to get the info on the "dirt tickets" and what we need to do this year to get them.

got back from my trip and was engulfed in work(i wish i didn't have to work, seriously! lol) i got some of my photos load into myspace, ya'll can find my info in my profile if ya wanna look. at some point i'll get the rest of my photos loaded, just didn't feel like sitting in front of my computer all weekend.

only had the tv on for my bull riding this weekend. and went to the movies w/ my mom. we was Julie & Julia, cute movie.

Just want to chime in on the michael vick thing...eagles r my home team!! the media around here is a million times worse than what u get--crazy crazy attention. i am sick of being sickened from it
so now i find my self a footbal fan w/out a team...which i guess is really ok, b/c i follow players more than a team.

please understand in no way whatsoever am i defending him. but i must say this....and hesitate doing so..just know i dont like it and he is scum in my book.
but...
i feel that his punnishment did not fit the crime. i feel they took advantage of his celebrity. i feel stallworth who killed a person w/ a dwi & only served 24 days is a huge injustice. both of these men made their choices of how to run their lives and destroy others in the process.
both of their crimes are dispicable and beyond belief. i am a pet owner/lover and it sickens me/i lost a loved one to a drunk driver and still cant find where the justice is.

it kills me that philly picked vick up--winning at all cost is the philly way.

however, he was convicted, did his time and it should b in his past-time to move on.
(yes, he is missing the boat by not doing shelter work or supporting animals/spca in some way- he should man up)
but really, none of us would buy it anyway. we would just think him a hypocrite. had he bet on football games, he would have been banned for life...wtf????

so many people out there do terrible things and make decisions you or i would never make.
even though i've made mistakes in my past, thank god they are not still haunting me...(understand that none of them were criminal, illegal or worthy of conviction by law. mayb just immoral)

personally - i hope in the end he will die a slow death from getting attacked by a pack of dogs and he will have gotten "his just" punnishment.

As for sleeping with Morgan and Bo Saturday night....it worked out WAY better with my own pillow, I actually slept pretty good. The funniest part was when we were getting in the bed I thought Morgan was mad at me and didnt want me to sleep in the bed again bc she said "What are you doing in here?"....so I just said "We are all going night night." and she said "No...you need to go play with me. Dont go to sleep, go play with me". Well when we finally got her to get into bed she was sitting in the very middle and Bo said "Ok Morgan...get on your side of the bed." and she said "No daddy I just want to lay be her. I just want to lay by her." That made my day.

As for guys being jealous of Gary....last night I was talking with my friend Lindsey about concerts and Bo was there....and the convo ended with a little dirty look and a DENIED KISS from Bo after talking about all my fun times at Gary shows. lol Then I caught him looking at a girl wearing shorty shorts. As for Sugarland....I find that if you keep your attention on other parts of Jennifers body than her face, she isnt as annoying. bahahaha. And as for Micheal Vick.....Im not a fan, I hate the guy! I wish he hadnt been picked up by a team. Though I would have to agree with the fact that he has indeed served his time...hopefully he learned his lesson.

Alicia, enjoy the movie. I know nothing about it. Just saw the Time Traveler's Wife on Saturday. Have not read the book, so I can't compare the two. Interesting movie...if you enjoy a man who travels in time but has to leave his clothes behind. Thus, every time he travels, he shows up nude. Must say he has a very NICE body. Plot line seemed a little thin to me. Definitely a chick flick!

I went and saw Brooks and Dunn on Sunday. Eric Church opened and played for an hour. I'm not going there! Sorry, something about EC's voice and his continual pounding on his chest and stomping his feet that made me feel like I was watching a parade. (I just went there! Rats!) Brooks and Dunn were wonderful. Sounded great. Very short show. They played for an hour and had a, maybe, ten minute encore. Encore was Brand New Man and Boot Scootin' Boogie. I will never complain about Gary's 90 minutes on stage, ever again! Only reason I complain about Gary is b/c his show is just not long enough!!!

That's it from the hot and humid North. Everybody have a wonderful Monday evening and enjoyable Tuesday. I'll be "trucking up to Buffalo" for the whole day on Tuesday.

Alicia: Well about the ghosts - bear with me here bc this may sound ridiculous but here it goes: The ghost hunt on Sunday was on honest to goodness ghost hunt. They give you all the equipment and let you go to town. They took us out to the field where a Louisiana Regiment was killed. My boyfriend and I had a little recorder, temperature sensor and diving rods. I was asking questions like a moron and at one point I said "Can someone do something to make this all worth it??' Well the ghosts didn't like my NY attitude bc none of them was answering one darn question. I asked Keith (an on the fence believer) to ask a question and he asked "Do you like cherry tobacco?" (the guide said the regiment liked it) and we played the recording back and in no uncertain times a man said "Yes". It was kinda awesome.

I'm lucky - I don't live near the beach but Keith does so all I have to do is walk down the street.

Hello everyone HOw are you??! I am good...trying to get things figured out....I have 2 step sons that live with us. Their mom is moving to Hawaii...and for whatever reason we just realized she has full custody...which is odd since she never has them....so we are trying to change it before she moves to Hawaii....and she is like it is not necessary....So now we are looking at a custody battle...and she leaves on Aug 29. We will not battle for joint, but if she is going to fight for that....then we will fight for full & settle with joint....i mean HELLLLOOOO she is only going to see them like 1 month out of a year....how could she expect to have full custody...INSANE...we are not even asking for child support...we never have...and don't want it from her. SIGH

Anyways...I have been busy, sucks...nursing school starts back on Monday...BLAH! Work is good..I love my job! and playing with all the little babies!

Alicia...that is so sweet about morgan... She really likes you and that is cute. Does he bring her around all of his exes? or were you special...I felt good when Lance FINALLY let me meet his boys after dating for 3 months. He was very cautious about that he didn't want them getting attached to anyone that may not stay around. I was actually the first gf to meet them since he and his wife split...and I was the first to meet his parents...thats funny....

Anyways...Well Kaylen did you decide about OKC? I think it would be loads of fun! I am bringing my boss to Thackerville...she is awesome...doesn't really know much about Gary, but I made her a CD of his setlist and a few other goodies...she likes it too!! I'm sooooo happy for football season's almost here..WOOWOO fantasy football baby...don't worry guys, this is preseason..they won't really play the starters till a few games before the season starts...

I agree about Vick and he should have been suspended for this season but there are sooo many other players that don't deserve to play at all including PacMan Jones who seems to have trouble following him everywhere... I don't understand how Plaxico Burgess can face 3 yrs of prison for shooting himself but Stallworth only got 30 days for killing someone but atleast he can't play for a yr...but hey Vick didn't fail 4 drug test like Ricky Williams of the dolphins and get suspended for a whole season, I guess Ricky should have killed animals instead and maybe he wouldn't have been suspended? I said either the Raiders or the Eagles would pick Vick up...I thought the Raiders were more desperate but I guess Al Davis isn't as crazy as I thought he was...

Alicia..thats cute how you and Morgan get along so great...that makes Bo feel more comforable with you and the relationship....and you need to trust Bo is doing the right thing and just trust him...without trust you can't have a relationship..sorry about the family problems...

I got back last night and it felt like a long trip home...I've been goin to Key west for 14 yrs and i never get tired of that place...a few yrs ago frank and I decided to start inviting friends to go with us...each yr the group gets larger and larger...the group usually consist of friends returning and friends who never been to key west...thurs and satur we attempted to do the Duval crawl but we got to only 5 bars ( there are about 73 bars on Duval..hence the Duval crawl)..Friday nitght we all went deep sea fishing...now that was an experience...11 out 18 people got sick and the 1st to go down was my Frank...I will never plan such a large group again...next time I'll tell everybody where I'm staying and they can book their room...It was a lot fun and some drama...can't make all 18 people happy

Courtney....so Lance's ex is saying it is no big deal for yall to actually get full custody, that she wouldnt say anything if they stayed with yall after she moved? Or was she saying that yall better fight for custody or she would take them to Hawaii with her?

As for Morgan....Bo tells me all the time how he never let Morgan hang out with anybody before bc he didnt want her to get attached to anyone who he didnt feel like he would last with. That makes me feel really good. I know that a person's child is the most important thing in most peoples lives...so for him to have chosen to share her with me out of everyone he was been with, its really great.

Erin....havent seen the video yet. I want to though! I never thought of Eric and Rebecca as a married couple to have THAT kind of relationship.....but it was a pleasant surprise. As for the welcome mat....Kalen and I saw that one in Target when we were in OK together for the Gary show. She didnt buy it bc of how cheaply it was made. HAVE FUN IN TORONTO!!

It wouldn't be abandoment because she is going for military. Her hub is in the navy.... She just wants to do a power of attorney. Lance has an appt today with a lawer to see what we should do. I think the part we are most scared of if wedont change it is the backpay. If a court doesn't say we can stop paying then she can always go back and hammer us. She is a nice person.... We just don't know why she is against joint custody. The whole reason we started this is because for whatever reason the kids need a surgery or somehing that is not life threatening he can't make the decision without her.

Hey girls. How is everybody on the tread today? As for me....there's trouble in paradise. Going through some things with boyfriend Tim. Sortof on the outs at the moment and not speaking much. Without going into details....he may have done some irrepairable damage to the relationship. Now I have to decide if I really want to stay in it, even though I do love him with all my heart. If anyone is wondering about the Justin Moore cd, I have listened to it a few times and I like it! Not sure if the rest of you will unless you really like the country twang. If your from a small country town you may be able to relate to most of his songs. "Small Town USA" is my favorite and "Back That Thing Up" is a cute catchy song and "Grandpa" is pretty good too.

I would rather not have her sleeping with us. He has a bed for her, its just not put together yet and there really isnt another room for her at his house.

yes things went good. As for the little one....I know when lance and i were first dating...and the boys slept in his bed i wasn't allowed to stay at his house. He didn't want me in the bed with them and he didn't want any confussion. I don't know how often he has her...but its in option...

Hey Barbara...Back That Thing Up is just toooo cute in concert!!! Which brings me to my cute Justin story...I went to see him w/ my niece...They usually always sign autographs after at this venue...But, the guy selling the t-shirts said there was too many people...That as soon as he left the stage, he would be hittin' the bus! So I told my niece, "you wanna have some fun"??? So, she was like sure...So, we went and nicely staked out his bus with a couple of other people...She was sooo funny, she'd never done anything like that...So, she was all like, "are we gonna get in trouble"... So, after a while some guy came out and said you might as well leave, 'cause Justin's not signing anything...I asked my niece, "you wanna leave, or you wanna see what happens...So, she was game for stickin' around...So, finally Justin comes out, and you can tell by his actions that someone told him not to stop to sign anything...When he came out he started heading for the bus...stops for a second...starts to look towards the bus...I said, (nicely) "awww come on there's only like eight of us"...He turns around, and comes over and signs autographs...and, that dear ladies & gentlemen is how you make a fan!!!

Whitney...As far as the kids: If it's life-threatiing (God forbid) signatures don't mean squat!!! My bff's hubby was in the military, and ex didn't want to give up the child support!!! Congrats on your joint custody...

Today is my birthday and somethin' tells me it just may be Steph's birthday too. 28 years old! 2 yrs to 30! 12 yrs to 40! 1000 yrs to actually growing up...

Well maybe I am growing up a bit - I chose to not wear my birthday crown to the office today and instead of flip flops to travel in, I wore heels. Long story short - I miss the crown and am now wearing flats and there are band aids on my toes.

That is a cute Justin Moore story! I bet your niece was so excited. We did that with Billy Currington after they told us he would not be coming back off the bus but he did. One of my Billy friends had her granddaughter with her and she sang "Why Why Why" to Billy. It was so cute!

Hey, thanks for all the support girls. I appreciate it. Relationships are tough. Now I know why I didn't have one before now! Sometimes I wish I had stayed a happily divorced woman doing my own thing! Then this MAN has to walk into my life and complicate everything!! Just not worth it sometimes.

By the way....we are trying to work things out. I am just not sure things can ever be the same. We have already been through this once and managed to get back to the way we were but geez louise, how many times can a person keep doing that without being afraid to even try any more? Okay girls! Here is the info on the October 24th concert I was talking about with Justin Moore opening for Gary. I got an email from The Wolf and Gary will be at the Superpages.com center (use to be Smirnoff). With him is Eli Young Band, Stoney LaRue and I assume Justin Moore even though it does not mention him on the email but that date is listed on Justin's myspace. Tickets go on sale to the public on August 29th. Anybody thinking about going?
