Hey Everyone. Just read back to catch up. Not sure what I"ve been doing but haven't been on any boards lately. I'm having a nice, lazy, slow weekend. Not one thing to do! It's actually been nice.

Good to see Brooklyn back in da house! Glad you girls had fun with Billy. I'm kinda jealous those aren't closer to me or I"d be there! Steff-have fun in FL. Did I see on Twitter that your going to hang with Brenda? That's awesome.

Erin-I am SHOCKED that you could recognize me from the TV show! But, I also think it's super cool. Yes, that was me and Alicia was standing right next to me and Courtney was just on the other side of her. We were all on there at one time or the other. The first time they panned to the crowd, you saw Courtney, Alicia and my arm...because I had my camera up! LOL! My friend Missy was right behind me. That might be the other blone you saw. Still, VERY COOL THAT YOU SAW ME AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, YOU KNEW IT WAS ME!

Laurie-welcome to the thread. I'm shocked you read the entire thing. Thanks for asking about my neck. It's much, much better. I've found that it has something to do with my pillows. I was using expensive down pillows and bought a $12 new one from Target and every since, hardly any neck pain! I've heard the same thing about chiropractors about having to keep going. My chiro doesn't twist and pop like traditional chiros do. He uses this little machine that taps things into place. NO twisting or cracking at all. He's into a wholelistic type style. But, I haven't seen him in over 2 weeks. And, before this neck issue, I hadn't seen him in 6 months. Good to talk to you. What Gary shows do you have lined up for the rest of the year?

Mrs. Whitney: CONGRATS! Can't wait to hear stories and see pics. Sounds like you did ALOT of the wedding stuff yourself. As a former bridal consultant, I know that is NOT the way to go. But, around these parts, it happens all the time. But, I'm sure the day was fabulous. CONGRATS!!!!!

Barb-just want to say thanks for being there; through texts, emails and twitter! You're awesome!

I'm a little upset about my upcoming Gary dates. I'll try to make a VERY LONG STORY SHORT but the Thackerville show was supposed to be like "old times" with my regulars, a.k.a. Hick Chick Roadies, but my sister has temporarily lost her mind I think and she decided she wasn't going which meant my cousin wasn't going. So, now I have my four tickets and I'll find someone to go. It will probably be my other sister and her friend from Texas and me. I'll find someone for the final ticket closer to the show.

My other big concern is Vegas. I want to go SOOOOOOO bad!!! But, again, my sister is losing her mind. We've had conversation after conversation and she tells me she didn't say things when she did and gets mad at me and it goes on and on. So, I'm trying to figure it all out. I know there will be a few of you all there that I could "hang" with but I'm scared to go by myself for some reason. LOL! Plus, I can't afford the hotel by myself. I just need to find someone to go with me!

I'm super excited about upcoming concerts though. Keith Urban is the 7th...less than a week!!! I have the outdoor concert at the shopping center on the 21st and Def Leopard, Poison and Cheap Trick on the 22nd. Then, in September I've got a FREE Luke Bryan concert on the 10th and Gary on the 25th and possible the 26th as well. October will be a VERY BUSY concert month. Free Emerson Drive at the fair, Blake Shelton at the fair, U2 on the 12, 14 and 18. After that, no concerts lined up except for Vegas on NYE.

Well I finally got to see Gary on Headline Country, woohoo!

I'm home today, stuck in the apartment because of all this rain we're having again. It's stormin' with some pretty nasty lightening. I'm getting stir crazy bc I wanted to get some errands done today.

So I've been reading up about the stage collapsing in Canada - absolutely terrible. My heart goes out to everyone, injured or not. The trauma must be intense and will be felt for a long time to come. I'm especially saddened for the family of the one person who was killed.

Anyway, Steph is in Orlando today visiting Brenda and her husband. I'm jealous! My vacation starts next week.

Yesterday was my Uncles funeral. It was hard. It never truly hits me until I see them in the casket.

Bren....congrats on hearing "Today" for the first time. Oddly...I have heard it about 6 times already. Once even when I went out to a bar/dance hall....it was the only song I bothered to get up and dance to. Im glad you and Steph had a good time even if it was a short amount of time.

Courtney....why on earth are you on the internet when you are on your honeymoon at the beach!! lol You should be laying on your back....either in the sand getting some sun, or on other soft surfaces.

Today was an o.k. work day. But, the absolute perfect part of the day is when 3 guys I've never really seen work in the entire time I've been there, had to somewhat work today!!! YEH!!!! I know you all know them, 'cause everybody has at least one...But, I'm the type that was raised to work for your paycheck. So, it bothers me when people pull the same paycheck for not doing a blessed thing!!! Maybe it shouldn't...But, it does!!!

So today on the way home from work, I start out on a CD search!!! O.k. So, I am TRULY disgusted with CD sections in ALL the chain stores!!! I always thought that WM had amazingly sucky Country section...Compared to Kmart, Target & Meijers, WM is like FYE!!! They ALL had like less than 100 CDs in their Country section??? What is goin' on people...The industry complains that ACTUAL CD sells are on a significant downside...WELL, YA THINK??? How am I 'pose to by my CD's when I can't even FIND my CD's... Now, I know I can download the CDs through Amazon & etc... But, I'm a liner notes kinda girl...I like to know who wrote the songs, etc... If I can't find my music, it's a good thing there's a concert comin' up...

Oh, interesting observation while looking for my music...

Laura....totally understand and agree with you on the WM Country section! The one in my home town just keeps getting smaller and smaller each time I go there. I know yall like to hear about my snooping...so I shall tell yall that last night I pulled a Nancy Drew again and snooped in Bo's phone! For once....I WASNT DISAPPOINTED!! Either he got smart and started deleting messages or he has finally learned his lesson and seen what he was doing to our relationship and finally stopped texting other girls (innocently texting...but texting none-the-less) completely! Woo hoo! Since Im pretty sure he isnt smart enough to delete messages....Im going with the fact that he finally learned his lesson!

Barb....I know you have an IPhone....I think Im going to need a tutorial (this goes to anyone else who has an IPhone and might be able to help me out as well). I didnt get one since I have Verizon but I bought Bo one and it came in the mail today....I have been messing around with it to try and get it figured out so I can teach him how to use it (and of course so I know all the ins and outs to be able to do my snooping at night!). I was just messing around with it but some of the things I cant get to work....do you have to have a SIM card in it for it to let you even pretend to type a text message (will he need to buy a SIM card to make it work at all...or will it work without a SIM card once it is activated?)? Everytime I would open the SMS app. it would only let me write the words w the little stick thing, not TYPE the words. lol Usually I can figure phones out really quickly...but this one actually is very annoying.

Maybe I should read the instructions. Maybe that would help a little.

Girl, either way he's smart!!! Either he's deleting, or he's stopped texting!!! Obviously though he's not smart enough to hide his phone at night!!! Oh, and the new Sugarland CD/DVD thing is at WM...I saw it while I was looking...Here's what slays me about Sugarland...They're canceling shows "right & left" yet they do all this other stuff (awards shows, CD/DVD thingy, PBS special)??? Shouldn't "vocal rest" mean "complete" vocal rest???

Oh, and they replaced my Billy with a bluegrass band??? I'm all in favor of bluegrass, but not as a Billy replacement!!! I told you all not to break him!!! I was really hoping they'd replace him with Phil!!!

Hi, everyone. Hope this finds you well and happy. I've been busy this week; I've gone up to school to work on my classroom 3x. Today I helped out with new student enrollment. Sadly, my summer vacation time is rapidly drawing to a close.

I was sad to hear that Steven Tyler fell off the catwalk at a concert last night and broke his shoulder and had to have stitches in his head and back. He hurt his leg back in June. Brad had to miss some of the early tour dates because he had to have surgery and now Tom is out because his throat cancer is back. I'm supposed to see them in Kansas City on 9/1, but with the bad luck they're having--who knows?

Only 9 more days until I get to see Gary!

Howdy People!!

I snooped a tad this morning in Bo's new phone...NOT A GOOD IDEA! lol I should stick to doing it while he is asleep instead of trying to fit it in during the moments when he walks out of the room! He walked back in on me using his phone...I just pretending I was playing a game on it! There was still no texts between him and girls...there was one from a girl to him that just asked "Who are you dating now?".....no more after that though. Turns out the new phone is harder to snoop in...since with Blackberry phones you get to see in & out messages in one look (like instant messaging) instead of having to look in the "inbox" and "outbox" to get the whole convo. I didnt get to see the outbox to see if he responded to her....but if he did, she didnt like what she heard bc she didnt write back. Maybe after a couple more days of snooping periodically and not finding anything I can finally start taking a break from the sleuthing.

As for more Bo drama....his ex girlfriend was at his house last night (the one that used to be "pregnant") bc she bought one of his horses and they had to go catch it and pen it up. I had to work but went straight out there when I got off....missed her by a freakin minute! lol Passed her on his driveway. Good news...I only work this morning, and she is coming back to actually get the horse tonight, so I get another shot! Wish me luck! lol

Connie....are you excited about school starting back up? I just saw the Steven Tyler thing on TMZ....thats sad, but at least he will be ok. I hope you still get to see them in concert. 9 more days till Gary....WOO HOO! Hopefully they will have new equipment by then instead of borrowing from other people.

Laura....actually Sugarland did cancel EVERYTHING for awhile, when they werent doing concerts they werent doing anything else either. Now that they are back doing shows....they are also doing the other stuff too. I saw an interview with Jennifer Nettles on TV...and she seemed really hurt that everyone was getting mad at her for her health problems. Someone asked her if she was surprised by the reaction and she said she wasnt surprised except for the fact that people cared more about the product than the actual well-being of a human.

Well....I got to go for now! Time for work!

Now see I'm ALL about artist protecting their health & livelyhood. It just seemed like while they were canceling all these shows they were still doing the "high publicity" stuff. But, to be fair the CD/DVD & the PBS thing could've been filmed a while ago...I'd still buy their music, I just don't know if I'd buy concert tickets right now!!! Have a good day at work...Is there such a thing?

Alicia- my iPhone shows the whole message in/out lime an IM... The only thing u should have to worry about is putting it back on the message he left it on. So if you didn't see a message returned from him in the same spot then he prolly wrote nothing back.... Be careful tho I did this and it caused a lot of problems in our first year and we still have minor issues now with trust. We both have passwords on our phone... I just don't see any good coming from snooping... I sti sometimes wish I could but I'm glad I can't...

Alicia, On the iphone, his reply to a text message will be highligted in green on the same screen as the incoming text. And yes he does need a sim card. He can use the one from his other phone if it fits. He will also need to sync his phone thru itunes. There are periodic software upgrades on them and that is the only way to get the latest software. The last one was 3.0. I know you are more worried about his ex girlfriends contacting him and not vis versa but if he keeps catching you snooping he is going to think you don't trust him and could hurt your relationship. I'm just saying! You've waited so long to get him I would hate to see you loose him because of it. That little advice comes from someone who is working on 28 years of marriage. Just be careful with the snooping!

I second that. Snooping is NOT a good sign in a relationship. It shows 100% lack of trust in someone. All it does is create insecurity and drama.



Looks like I'm going to see Keith for free tonight. *fingers crossed* Missy is on her way here now and we supposedly got our money back from the broker and he gave us other floor tickets. I'm just waiting until I get my hands on the tickets and money before I chill out. What a mess it's been. Lesson learned I guess. Either way, I'll be seeing Mr. Urban tonight so it's all good!

Well hello everyone!

I have to tell a funny snooping story. Mine story involves email snooping - I couldn't help myself!

It was the guy I was dating before my current bf. He's a musician on tour (my weakness) One day he left his email open when he went to a show, so I sat down and started reading - again I couldn't help myself! Weeelll, I found an email to an ex gf in there and I didn't like the sound of it. I was gearing up to say something but luckily I looked at the date and it was an email from that day 2 yrs earlier! Bullet dodged my friends, bullet dodge.

So on other fronts, I go on vacation tomorrow - Gettyburg for a little historical retrospective and then Vermont for some sitting and eating and sleeping and relaxing. Ill be taking my laptop so I may be posting next week (Lord knows if Gettysburg gets a little too history-y, I'm gonna need something to entertain me when the bf is infatuated with the battlefields).

Now for this workday to just end!

Hey ladies, Im trying to enjoy my last few days of vacation. I got back from Florida on Wednesday. Brenda and her great hubby Frank showed me such a good time and their puppy, Jack is an 80 pound ball of love. Thanks again guys and can't wait to see you in NYC in a few weeks.

Funny story that I think Brenda mentioned already but we were driving to dinner when Today came on the radio. It was the first time hearing it on the radio for both of us. Well, I was busy typing away on my blackberry when the first few chords came on and Brenda practically punched me in the gut. It was hilarious! We should give her props for being a dedicated junkie because as we left dinner she called the station to request it again and came THIS CLOSE to announcing it live but she chickened out and so did I.

Things with my southern boy are going well.

As for the snooping advice....I know its not a good thing! Im just nosey....and a very jealous person! It has nothing to do with Bo....I really do trust Bo not to actually DO anything. I want them to stop it and if some of the ones that I have confronted already try to contact him again...its WAR! lol Even if he doesnt respond....just the fact that they had the nerve to talk to him again after being warned would CHAP MY...BUTT! Im going to try to stop snooping though.

Sue, love your snooping story! Bo gave me all his email login info...so I have free range to snoop in his email....and I have his myspace and facebook login info as well! Ive had to do the "date check" a couple times to make sure it was before US.

Thanks for all the IPhone help. It turns out Bo is just a simple minded redneck though and thinks the phone is too complicated! lol So he doesnt like it. We are going to sell it to one of his friends and get him a different one.

Hey everyone. Thread's been slow lately. I guess we're all busy. LOL.

Yes, I had a great time at Keith on Friday. I don't think I ever told the entire story but she short version is that I bought regular tickets and WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THEM AT ALL. A friend called and said she had found some on the front section for $175 each through a broker. I agreed and gave her the money for them at Gary's show in Miami. Anyway, the week of the concert the tickets still weren't in. The broker kept telling her that they were waiting on them to come in and they never came. She had to go down to the place and raise h8ll. The owner ended up offering her seats on the floor and gave us our money back. We took it. when we got to the venue and got in our seats this girl turns around and says "hey". It's a girl I know for about 5+years and I only see her in line for tickets. I didn't even know her name until Friday when I asked her for her email. She told us that they had already talked to the security and that we were going to be able to go upfront...INFRONT OF the front row. So, we just walked up there right before the concert started and that's where we stayed all night. It was so cool. I still can't believe all that happened and for free. Way awesome.

I stressed a bit when about 10 minutes into the concert I got a text from my sisters, who were there too, that my dad had been taken into the hospital for congestive heart failure. I was scared that I was going to have to leave the concert after fighting that fight and then getting such great position. I ended up staying because he was stable and ok. He has remained in the hsoptial all weekend under supervision. He is in good spirits and says he's feeling fine. He is just in almost constant poor health. Poor guy. He won't do anything for himself to help out his situation. His diabetes is way out of control and he has a bad heart. It's still scary even though we've been through this three times now. He is supposed to have an echo cardiogram tomorrow to determine more. But his latest round of blood work came back today and the levels that were extremely elevated are now back down to normal levels. So, we'll see what happens.

Bo and I are going to get my rings re-sized today....so I will be without it for about 10 days. It has helped me not get hit on as much at work...sorta! lol Last night 2 guys came in and invited me out for drinks...I said "no" and they looked at my ring and one said "Oh, Im sure he doesnt want to see you that bad."

Kalen, so sorry to hear about your dad! I pray things start to get better for him. My dad was a diabetic also and had alot of the same problems. I'm sure the Docs will take excellent car of him.

My weekend was pretty boring. Spent the whole weekend by myself since the hubby decided to go to the deer lease. I got lots done around the house and spent some time out by the pool.

I managed to get front row tickets for Jason Aldean at Winstar this morning. I was surprised because they had already been on sale for 2 hours when I got them. I guess luck was on my side for a change.

So is anybody else liking Justin Moore? I think I'm going to get his new cd tomorrow.

I'm still kinda on the fence with him. He's having a CD release party down in Indy on Thursday, so my niece & I are going...The bad thing is, I've been "burned" so many times lately that I'm actually afraid to start liking anybody. First it was Whiskey Falls...Now I "never" see them? They don't even have dates on their page? Then there was Jeremy McComb...Haven't seen him in these parts in AGES!!! I swear it's like everytime I like a new artist, I can be guarenteed I won't get to see them anymore...At least Jeremy (apparantly) has a new CD being shopped around. If he doesn't get someone for it soon, I wish he'd just release it digitally!!!

I was checking out Justin Moore's Myspace and was looking at his tour dates. Just so happens he will be in Dallas on Oct. 24th opening for our man! It doesn't give any more information other than the date. Hmmmm, will have to wait and see I guess.

I can't believe Brooks & Dunn are splitting up. It's a sad day in country music. Seems like that news came out of nowhere, no rumors or speculation at all, at least none that I know of.

I saw Jackson Browne, on the 1st, and he was incredible!!! The man's voice has not changed at all! Loved it. My next concert is tonight. Fourth row from stage for Pat Benetar, and Blondie. Wow, an 80's flashback! May go see Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley on Friday and then see Brooks and Dunn on Sunday. Lot of traveling if I go to see B&D. Then on Wed the 19th, Eddie Money is doing a free show in town. Definitely reliving my youth!

Well, hope everybody is enjoying the week, so far. Hot and humid in Rochester. Looks like our nasty weather has left us and we are expecting mid 80's and sunshine through the upcoming weekend.

So Brooks & Dunn are done, wow. The running joke at my office is how a city girl likes country music. So people have been coming up to me all day asking if "i'm ok with it" I said I will have to pick up the pieces and move on with my life.

Barb-did you get the CD? That would probably be a good concert, Gary and Justin. Although, Justin just seems like he might be trying a little too much for the twang in his voice. Maybe he isn't, but it sounds like it.

Thanks for everyone asking about my dad. He went home yesterday so hopefully he'll stay healthy for a bit. He usually does and then it eventually goes back to the poor health. But, for now he's OK. Thanks for asking again.

Brooks & Dunn-yeah, I was over them about 13 years ago. LOL! I'm fine with them moving on. I think Ronnie Dunn might be on big giant you know what. But, that's just my opinion.

barbara~i do have pictures to share, had to go thru and delete a lot of fuzzy ones. i got some ok ones from the Sun City Tour in Seattle, and my cruisin ones of the coast of OR, just have to get thru my RIC photos, most didn't come out(on the 2nd night, i had dropped my camera the first night, oops)

I did load a few photos into myspace & facebook neither of my accounts are hidden so folks should be able to look w/out having sign in. i put the photos in the ME/my photos ablum (don't know if i'm gonna separate everything or just do a vacation ablum...i think it would be too big)

Barb....Justin Moore is opening for Gary in Dallas? When is Gary going to be in Dallas...or are you talking about a different "Our Man"? lol I guess I need to run over and check out his tour dates....I havent checked them out in a long time.

Also, as for Brooks & Dunn splitting up....I sorta saw it coming. I figured as soon as they stopped being the Top Duo they would decide to go their different ways. Now that Sugarland has come in and swept them out of the #1 spot...I think they want to try something new. Ronnie is going solo....not sure what Kix will decide to do.

Speaking of Sugarland...I just bought their CD/DVD thing, Im about to pop in the DVD right now and enjoy me some Jennifer!

hey ladies, how are you? I am ok....my husband is upset about all this "Gary" he doesn't want me wasting money & he says it is disrespctful to put things on my status on other sites like "cant wait for Gary, he is hot...or the like" that not everyone knows who he is and they will think i am talking about some other guy...whatever...and as far as the concerts go...he goes to a ton of OU football games...so wt--F*&^ he can buy tickets that cost more to watch football? He says it is a different game everytime...and that I go to the SAME concert...HELLO they are not all the same...geez...he just doesn't get it... funny thing is...he likes Gary...I think he is jelous of someone I would never get the chance he is worrying about..LOL...I dunno what to do. He said I am grown and to do what i want...so confused.... maybe I will back off a tid bit...but if he is close I am still going...

My family is falling apart!! First My uncle...then my parents are having martial drama again....and now my sister calls my mom today to tell her that last night she was hearing voice and go really scared so now she is going to a psych clinic for a couple days. I just want to run away from it all and pretend everything is ok. Im a little detached from my feelings...I dont like crying and stuff so I have a tendency to run away from situations that might make me cry. I want to run off and just spend all my time with Bo and act like everything is ok.

Though then I look at the me and Bo thing....and I feel like either Im just very pessimistic and always think the worst about things and Im just trying to sabotage the relationship with my own mind.....or maybe Im really seeing what Im seeing. He just doesnt act like he did when we first got together....he used to be all about the kisses and hugs and holding hands, but now it just feels like I have to force him to do those things. Is that a normal progression in a relationship?? lol When the "novelty" wears off....its just normal not to be all lovey anymore. This is my first relationship to last over a month....so its all new to me. Another downside is I think Bo hasnt stopped texting other girls....I think he has just gotten smart and started deleting them. I might just be over thinking all of this stuff.

Courtney....sorry about the husband being jealous of Gary. That seems to go around a lot. I know a lot of married fans who's husbands are jealous of Gary and think bad thoughts.

Men!!! They can be so immature at times!! Mine was a bit jealous at first, I think, but he has gone to all his concerts with me and now he really looks forward to the shows!!! He just kinda laughs at me though, when he sees me on these boards! He usually takes pics for me at the concerts and lets me go nuts and have fun, he really is sweet and special!!! Your husband will just have to adjust....he's got his football, so you should have an addiction as well!!! Tell him to put THAT in his pipe and smoke it!!!!LOL

Alicia - sorry to hear of all the family troubles. As far as Bo...some people are just not that affectionate...but you could still go up and give him a hug and I'll bet he'd return one to you!! I think he really cares about you, otherwise I don't think he would've put that ring on your finger!!! I've been married 30 years, and yes, some of the lovey-dovey stuff wears off...but the feelings only get deeper and stronger if it's truly love.
