Alicia, I agree with you. I would hate for Gary to talk to me that way. You could see the anger on his face. I thought it was crazy of her to represent herself in court. Glad that part is over for him.

Jules, seems like you have not gotten many concerts in this year compared to last year. Did they put more responsibility on you at work? Hope you get more free time soon.

Kalen, your cat story was too funny. As long as he is not hurt we can laugh about it, right!

Im so cranky right now. My bosses got in one of their moods where they choose one employee to gang up on and give a hard time...that person was ME! I have to go back in an hour to put up with it all over again...yipee for me!

At least I get tomorrow morning off which means I get to hang out with Bo...which means a WAY BETTER MOOD!!

I took my sons shopping today. I bought myself a new top and a pair of slacks and both only cost $12!. I bought my older son 2 shirts and my younger son a dress shirt and a pair of shoes. Then we went out for lunch. It was nice to have the 3 of us spend time together.

Alicia, did you have ice cream for breakfast? I think shopping went so well because all 3 of us split up and went our separate ways. Then when they found what they wanted, they called me and I met them at that particular store. We covered more ground and everyone just went to the stores they wanted. It worked out great.

I have no plans for today. I may do some yard work or just read a book. Who knows?

Hey Junkies! Just checking in super quick because I'm so tired. I'm ready to get in bed already!!!! I watched my niece and nephew last night and today and they seriously put a hurtin' on me. It reaffirmed my life long desire of NOT WANTING KIDS! By about 3 today I seriously thought I was going to lose it with them.

I watched the channel 5 video tonight of Gary in court and he should have been cold with that crazy! I mean, it's downright scary!!!! She's obviously nuts. I think it's funny Alicia and Barb imagined him saying that them. to my knowledge you all haven't repeatedly been to his house and damaged his property at his house. I think it'd be a little different if you all had. You all can't imagine it because we actually try to consider him as a human being when we're at his shows. Crazy does not! It's really scary I think. I mean, people like her have done far far worse things to people in the public.

sure was a busy one for me. had alot of chores inside & outside to do since i won't be here the next couple weekends. i did find a neighbor to take care of the outside chores for a couple weekends, so my mom doesn't have to worry about. just lookin for someone to do the indoor stuff too.

alicia~ohhh i would have loved to have a party here but well...friends around here...slim to none, or they are too busy with their families now. i've grown used to it. i've got alot on my plate now anyways, my folks can't do much anymore, so i do it instead

barbara~i actually dont have many concerts at all. i've got more PBR or Challenger events this year, work is sorta getting in the way for traveling. plus filled most of my year with housesitting too, even after getting back from my trip in a couple weeks i'll have housesitting up until the next time i travel. LOL! more $$ for me

Here we are, Brooklyn in the House! Or Brooklyn in the Office more accurately!

Sorry I've been MIA lately - I guess I've been busy but lord knows I can't remember a thing from last week. Work has been nutty but I pretty much leave work at work ya know? The summer is flying by eh? It's almost August and then we slide into September and fall.

Went to the beach on Saturday solo - highly recommended. Sometimes you just don't want to chat. Friday night was a friend's b day here in the city and it was more fun then I had anticipated.

I watched Bride Wars yesterday, anyone seen it? I enjoyed it - but it says a lot about their friendship. Why do movies do that with female friendships? It's either best buds for life, or Ill cut you in your sleep if you cross me.

Kalen - how old are your niece and nephew? Boy oh boy, kids just keep goin!

Thursday is officially "Billy Currington Meets Me Day!" (or I meet him day, tomato/tomaaato) Who am I kidding? I won't go up to him. Joe's Pub makes it easy to meet them though, the bathrooms are like backstage so they're all just milling about. Dor met Jimmy Wayne that way but Steph wouldn't go - we are too shy.

So I'm getting my apartment painted and new furniture is arriving tomorrow. I have been living out of boxes going on a week now bc we need to clear everything out for the painters to come. CHAOS cannot define what it has been like. I can't even find socks half the time. I actually want to come to work because at least it is peaceful here and I know where everything is.

I really hope all the drama goes away and you and Bo can be happy. So I guess the Winstar concert is a NO for you? If so, I have someone one else who would like to use my other ticket if your not. It's still yours if you say yes but let me know for sure!

Speaking of the Winstar concert, I was there on Sunday and picked up my tickets I bought thru Winstar but they didn't have the fanclub ones yet. They did tell me that you pick up your fanclub tickets at GUEST SERVICES and NOT the box office. Thought I would let those going know that so you would not be standing in line at the box office for nothing.

Sue, you and Steph should try to meet Billy. He is a super nice guy and easy to talk to.

Kalen, glad you survived the niece and nephew. At least with them being your niece and nephew you can give them back. When they are yours that is not an option.

Connie, glad your boys went shopping with you even if they did go their own way. Mine won't go with me at all anymore, not even the grocery store.

I had a great weekend off. My boyfriend and I were invited over to my brother's for burgers on Sat. night. It was Tim's first time meeting my brother and he was so cute when he was getting ready!He was a little nervouse about his first impression! Asking me what shirt to wear, which cologne, should he wear his boots or sandles, which belt should he wear? It was too cute! He was drinking a beer before we left and I told him my bro would probably put a beer in his hand when he gets there. He said "maybe I should marry him instead! " It was funny...guess you had to be there! Anyway, they hit it off really well. I knew they would. They are so much alike!

So, anybody know when Gary's new album will be out? I am so ready for a new one!

Hey all hope everyone is better than me!!! Yesterday was horrible!! My rehersal dinner was a mess took forever!! My step mom is a beep to the beeeeeep... Went home to try on dress... Didn't fit right!! Had an emotional breakdown and then hard promises called me during Gary thank god for one good thing!! I accidentall formatted my memory card and lost all my bachelorette party pics.... Omg!!! Today was better tho I got my dress fixed and went and watched the ugly truth with the fiancé.... Just finished watching The Bachelor...O.k. First let me say I have always been a ridiculously hopeless romantic. I can't help it , it's just a part of me. So, "yes" I cried at the end! Now in fairness...It wasn't anything that required Kleenex, more the sniffle type...and...I had been rooting for Ed the entire time. He was actually on my Top 10 list from the first show. Loved the part where she goes, "Ed better not &^&%** disappoint"! LOL!!!

Kalen...My niece & nephew are only 1yr old (they were born 4 days apart)...So, although they're mobile, they're easy to catch...LOL!!! The funniest thing is there's a hallway back to my bedroom. They both will do the same thing...They'll take off like someone's chasing them...Then, if they don't see someone coming after them, they stop in the middle of the hall until someone does...It's so cute!!! Oh, and my niece picks out her nail polish. She'll pick one out of the bucket...Look at it like it's the most important decision she'll ever make...drop it back in the bucket, and start again...She'll do this for like 10mins. I'm SO pround!!!LOL!!!

As for the CW putting new eps of Supernatural on TV....I second that!! Though we have to remember...once it starts back up, thats one step closer to it being over FOR GOOD!! This next season is its last season. I just really hope Jensen continues working after it is over...I dont want him to be one of those people that quits something good in hopes of something better....but instead falls way out of the spotlight and cant make it back.

Same goes for LOST....cant wait for it to be back, but the sooner it comes back means the sooner it is over FOR GOOD! Speaking of LOST....no Emmy's nominations again this year! Grrrrrrr!

Wedding things are getting better..I am burning the Slide Show of our baby pics and stuff now...so that is nifty. It is currently pouring down rain here in OKC...and well I am hoping it doesn't continue thru Friday....Rainy wedding=no bueno!! My dress is finally fixed, dunno if I posted that yet or not...it was to tight in the bust but my future mother-in-law is a LIFE SAVER!! I literally bumped into him in Starbucks. Dirty blond hair and big blue eyes. He moved to NYC to go to business school at Hofstra University on Long Island. It's very, very early but I think I'm in trouble. He's so different than any guy I have ever met. It came out of nowhere. I don't want to say too much yet, i don't want to jinx it.

Vicki...congrats on the boyfriend!! Bo and I have only been official for about 2 months.....but have been dating off and on for 10yrs! lol So I guess it could be considered a whirlwind romance.

Oh...for everyone that knows the story about Bo's ex girlfriend supposedly being pregnant...and we were all worried about it. SHE ISNT PREGNANT!! Woo hoo!! Bo says that she NEVER was and was just lying....like some girls do in order to try and keep the guy around. Well he gets a text yesterday saying that she had a miscarriage....though she was supposed to be around 6months preggers, which if thats the case you have to have a funeral for the baby if you lose it. So she was just lying to get him back and when she finally saw that she wasnt going to....she had to get rid of the story without telling the truth that she was never pregnant (she is a little mentally unstable). So....that makes the drama like 10x less for us!! Im so excited. Granted, if she was telling the truth....I would never wish for anyone to have to go through something like that, but Bo and his whole family dont think she ever was pregnant.

Hello, Hard Promises. Welcome to our little corner of the world. Thanks for the good luck wishes for Bret/college. My older son graduated from the same college back in May, so I know that Bret will like it there. I'm an alumni of the same school, and I hear ya about sometimes it feeling like it was only yesterday when I was in college! Due to Bret's health issues, I know I will be worrying about him much more than I did with Barry. Barry was always so smart and 'on top of things'. I'm so proud of him for graduating with a 4.0.

Congrats on the Jackson Browne tickets! I've never seen him in concert but have enjoyed his music. I haven't been to a concert since May (saw Eric Church one week and then Kenny the next). I do get to see Gary on 8/15--yippee!

Bren, yep--there are so many things that you don't think about when sending a kid off to college. It's like having to buy all the things you already have for him in his room at home and in your bathroom. Sheets, bedspread, pillow, lamp, supplies, power cords, plus of course some new clothes. It's kind of mind boggling.

My last class finished tonight. I do know for a fact that I passed, 'cause I asked!!!LOL!!! Still too afraid to look to see if my English class grade is posted!!! I'm soooo afraid I didn't pass, and I'm going to have to take next semester off due to lack of funds!!!

On a happier note: I was listening to the radio on the way to school (which I rarely do); and they played "Today"!!!

Bren - how many songs did you hear last night? Every time I looked behind me Steph or Dor had their phones up!

Alicia - congrats on the engagement! Also, sending thoughts your way regarding what else is going on right now this week.

Last night was awesome, easily the best of the 3 series we've attended. Billy was...hot but that's not a surprise now is it? He sounds better in person, at least in my opinion. The surprise for the evening for me was the voice of Jason Sellers who wrote "I Still Miss You" for Keith Anderson and"Some People Change" for Kenny Chesney. My person fave of his is "You Can't Hide Beautiful". Anyway, I almost wanted them to hurry the circle back to him so I could listen . Interesting fact he dropped which you may or may not know - he's LeeAnn Womack's ex husband.

The next series is on Sept 9 with Chuck Wicks and another in November - but the songwriters have yet to be announced.

Dor met Billy and got a few pics - all the pics of the evening are on her facebook and mine too -just friend me to see them. Of course, Steph and I are wussies and stood back.

Hey Sue, just saw your post right before mine. We must have been posting at the same time. Glad you had a great time last night. You sound like me when it comes to meeting celebs. I will wuss out sometimes but I'm glad I didn't with Billy. Maybe next time you will get the nerve up to meet him.

How am I the only one who saw Kalen?? Did no one watch the Headline Country with Stormy and Gary? They showed the crowd from the recent OK show and I could have sworn Kalen was right up front. Except I didn't recognize those around her...not Jen nor her sisters. The one gal might have been Kalen's sister who is taller with long hair but she was looking away from the camera......Kalen come out and correct me if I am wrong.

So Alicia is engaged? Congrats! Details...or should I read back for them?



editing----I just re-watched it. I had DVR'd it and if its not Kalen than it's her DOUBLE! I would suggest recording it b/c they pan the crowd and Kalen is the last shot right before they cut to Gary. I don't have time to read back to see if she went....but this was the show that also had dirt biking. Any of this ring a bell?

Welcome to the thread Hard Promises (whats your real name?)! Anyone/everyone is welcome to join our little family. I think I like being brunette better just to not have to worry about the "up-keep". I like it the best between what it is now and my natural brown color...too blonde for me now. No speeding tickets yet in my truck.

I actually had to get onto another girl last night....she has been texting Bo every day inviting him over for "sleep overs" but saying "I wont try anything, I promise." HAHAHAHAAHA!! Thats pure BS! So I got her number out of his phone and told her politely to STOP texting him! She had the nerve to text Bo and yell about me texting her....she was mad! lol I told him "What does she expect when you invite someone elses man over for a sleep over, they arent going to give you a HUG! They are going to get angry!"

Erin...WELCOME BACK!! If you saw Kalen on TV then you probably saw me too!! I guess I need to Tivo the "Headline Country". Its from the Miami, OK show. Kalen was front row center...and I was standing right next to her on her left.

Laura...congrats on passing your classes!

Bren...he was a little mad. Mostly bc his phone died soon after he got to work bc of me plugging it back into the wrong charger! lol Whoopsie! He was also a little mad that I snooped...he tells me "Just ask me! I will give you my phone to check! I have nothing to hide." He really doesnt see anything wrong with TALKING to the girls as long as he doesnt actually go hang out with them. I think he is finally seeing the problem with it and is starting to STOP talking to them.

Sue....you didnt meet Billy?!?!?! After all that talk about flashing the "girls" to him! You chickened out.


Thanks to everyone who has given me well wishes about my Uncle who passed away yesterday. Its hard, he is the first person that close to me who has passed away....and for it to have happened the way it happened, makes it that much harder. I dont think it has truly hit me yet though.

Wow, a lot of stuff has happened to everyone. I quickly scanned back. Last night's CMA Songwriters Series was awesome as usual.

My southern boy is meeting my mom tonight. It sounds fast but my family is so casual that it's really not a big deal. It's not like "Meet the Parents" night. My family is super important (including you, Sue) and the best way to get to know me is to meet them.

Well I'm Florida bound on Sunday to hang out with Brenda and her awesome hubby Frank. I hope everyone has a great week!

Alicia, I just read your comment about the passing of your uncle. Please accept my deepest sympathy. You're lucky that you've not had a death in your family involving someone close to you before now. I've had more than I ever wanted. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time.
