Congrats on the job!! So you'll be doing hearing tests on newborns? Sounds interesting...I remember they had to do a test on my daughter when she was an older baby...I remember there was a buzz or some sound and they determined she could hear it if she looked toward the sound. Don't know how accurate that was, but nowadays I'm sure there's alot more to it.

My day is going to be lazy until the church cook out! =] So I decided to go with silk flowers for the wedding--less stressful and I can do it myself with a friend. DUMB FLORIST! 'atlesast mine'.... My maid of honor needs to hurry her but home! She moved to Cali for school met a fireman, and I can't get her away from there lol...but she is coming the week before sooooo....i will forgive her.

I am beginning to thing that I did not get the M&G since the concert is 3 days away.....but I have a little hope since no one has posted they won either. Even if I didn't I will still have a fabulous birthday at the concert & hanging out with friends/junkies.

Alicia-How is the drama? Did Bo survive the dad? Lance is 8 years older than me, I refused to tell my dad how old he was until I knew he "liked" him!! lol

Courtney, Drama is getting better. Though once again ran into the "pregnant ex" at the gas station! lol LOVE SMALL TOWNS! Supposed to be going ring shopping today after Bo gets off work...but he has been doing small side jobs to make more money so we might not have time to do it today. And I have Gary this weekend...so it would have to wait till next week sometime. Hopefully he gets done fast today. If I get a ring...I will definitely post a pic of it for yall to see! He did indeed survive my dad! lol I thought my dad was being mean to him....he wouldnt talk to him at all! When he came home for lunch today I asked him about it and it turns out he was mad at ME....he was like "Have you noticed that you havent even introduced us?!?!" and I was like "Dad....you have met him a couple times before! Remember back in 06' when he went to the family reunion and shook your hand!" He started smiling after that....he had forgotten that he had met him before! Old age must really suck. lol

I know Jules watched Deadliest Catch bc she texted me about it....I just got done watching the episode and I CRIED LIKE A LITTLE BABY! That tore my heart up to see _ on the phone.

Just got done reading through all the posts and kinda wished I hadn't. I haven't been feeling well still. I'm better, but not well. It's this pain in my neck as well as dizzy/nausea spells. IT SUCKS! I was just going home and going to sleep but that didn't really help the neck pain to be sleeping so much. So, I'm trying to push through the days. I carry ice packs with me. And, for some reason, my back is now hurting! annoying!!!! Chiropractor thinks its a pinched nerve and we're working to get it under control. It's just costing me $65 a visit and I go 3 times a week!

Barb-Thanks for not sharing too much about KU. I'm trying to not know too much before I see him. I know he goes out into the audience and the running joke around here is that he'll probably go up to the section where my sisters and friend will be sitting; the section I passed up to get up front. LOL! That'd be just my luck! Don't have time yet to check out your pics but I will soon. I agree with what you said about it being the best concert you've been to. I think that EVERY TIME I see him. He truly should win EOTY (in my opinion) There's something about him; it's like you can FEEL his energy that he's giving out. It's wierd but so cool. I feel that way about his music too. And, hush with the iPhone talk. You're making me want one! LOL!

Had a rapid change of everyone's minds today and ended up buying Gary tickets for Winstar. Thank goodness there were still some upfront left. It sucks that you can only buy 4 through presale and 6 throuh winstar! I needed 7 and I might need 8. But, that last person is on his own! LOL! I've got 7 narrowed down thanks to Barb. So, I"m excited about that show. It should be a good time. When I called Winstar today to see about buying 6 tickets, they said they had NONE upfront in the premium or VIP sections but when i was on the presale, there were still some left up there. So, there 7 of us going, but we will be split into different sections. 4 in one section with Barb and three in the other. I've already got a hotel room booked at the Best Western but I may have to get another one now with that many people.

Tonight I'm going to see Wicked; it's opening night. I'm not thrilled about it but it should be a good night. Just me, my sisters and my mom. Friday, we're having another concert here at the shopping center. They are always GTs because we have such a big group of friends that come. It's going to be HOT though. Then, Saturday I'm picking up Alicia and headed to Miami for Gary. After hearing him on KSCS yesterday; I'm READY to see him!

Well...everyone knows Im addicted to Ebay...so I figured i would look at the rings that they have on there, there are some good choices. Bo asked me if I found any that I liked and I jokingly said "Yes, there are some nice ones for only $10,000" and he came back with "lol Payments!" and I said "No, I would never ask for something like that." and he said "Whatever you want." I told him that I would keep it under $2000 AND I would help pay for it! lol I would just feel horrible having him buy me a ring that expensive. Anyone have any suggestions about rings? I know nothing about rings...so Im kinda lost looking at them on ebay. All I know is...NO YELLOW GOLD! lol

Alicia, be careful buying expensive jewelry off ebay. I would have a hard time trusting the source plus I think you need to look at the real thing before you buy when spending that kind of money. Buy from a reputable jeweler somewhere close to home. Just my suggestion and honest opinion. Hope you find what you want! And congratulations!

After 4 days of taking steroids and using Caladryl clear, my poison ivy rash is SO much better! It's all gone from my face and only 1 spot left on my neck. Everywhere else is clearing up nicely, too. Thank goodness!

Hey all. Just jumping in real quick.

Wicked was not my thing. NOT a fan of musicals at all!!!! But, the rest of the audience LOVED IT including my sister. She was on such a high after the show and then on the way home we got some very sad disturbing news. A girl that works for her and her husband, who was more than just a co-worker, hung herself yesterday. This was the same girl that my BIL was going to pick up when he was attacked and broke his nose and hand. Can't remember if I told you all the story or not. VERY LONG STORY short is she was WAY more than just a co worker. They really took her under their wing; even let her move into their house for a while after they helped her leave an abusive relationship. It's such a sad, sad thing. I didn't sleep at all last night. Well, 4 hours. It was a rough day and I think I've forgotten it and then it comes back up. I knew her from when I worked there too. I was there when she started about 2 years ago; we struck up a good working relationship and we hung out a few times with groups after work. Even freakier is that on Monday night she popped into my head just completely random. I thought I should call her but, I'd never called her before so I didn't have her number. the next thing I remember thinking was "she is going to end up dead and my sister will blame her self." Then, two days later, she's gone. it's a very sad story.

As for ring shopping....I went looking yesterday with my mom and sister. My sister is living vicariously through me bc she says she will never get married....not bc she doesnt want to. Well.....I only found one ring that I really liked but it was $4,500! Bo made me send him a pic of it...and all he said was "Whatever you want." Seriously? As much as I would love to take advantage of that and get that AWESOME ring....I would feel horrible ever asking him to get me something that cost that much. So we will keep looking.

Well....I got to start getting ready for work in a couple minutes. I will talk to yall later!

Kalen, how awful about what happened to that girl--she must have been really troubled. It is kind of freaky how you thought of her Monday evening--maybe a psychic connection of some sort. Something kind of similar happened to me when I was a sophomore in college. My roommate was out w/her boyfriend and 2 other people. I woke up in the middle of the night with thoughts of her and that something was wrong because she wasn't home yet. A few hours later, I got the word that she and the others were all killed in a car accident. Thoughts and prayers heading your way.

Alicia, keep looking for that 'perfect' ring that you love and feel comfortable with price wise. You'll know it when you see it.

Kalen, so sorry to hear about your friend. I had a friend from high school that did that same thing about 5 years ago. Was a huge shock because he had a successful career as a pilot and had a long time relationship with a girlfriend of mine from school. Sending prayers to her family and yours!

Im so tired. It sucks having a concert weekend and coming back to a double at work the very first day back.

My pictures didnt come out as good as I thought from the Gary show!! On the camera I was in love with them...but on my computer they are really DARK! Poop.

As for my blonde hair experiment...I think it worked, not as well as I was hoping....but I did notice a little difference. Now I need to decide either to upkeep the blonde or go back to brunette.

Well, im off for now to watch some re-runs of Deadliest Catch before having to go back to work! I will talk to yall later.

Hey Everyone. I'm not sure where my weekend went! Friday I slept in because of the non-sleeping on Wednesday and not feeling well and then went to this craft show and to work and then home and then to the shopping center for the monthly outdoor concert. Got home about 11:00, still had to figure out what to wear and pack. Oh, I also had to watch DC and ATC. LOL! So I didn't go to sleep until 2:15. Me&Alicia were doing the same thing Friday night; up late. Anyway, woke up at 8ish to get ready to pick up Alicia. We had a good time. It was different from any other Gary time but fun. I had so much fun with Courtney too. Good to know you and I love that you aren't afraid to work it;) Because of Courtney and Alicia taking the intiative, we found out that since Ccourtney had her FC badge that she could get all 4 of us in early! and, We got to line up at a VIP entrance so we were FIRST IN LINE!!! Alicia used her "golden shoes" and ran in and got us center stage right up front. We had such nice weather too. It was actually kinda cold after the show was over! Gary put on a really, really good show! He seemed to have ALOT of energy; lots of smiles and lots of dancing which I've never really seen from him before. CJ was even dancing onstage at one point. I've put the pictures on my computer but haven't got them share worthy yet.

Thanks for all about the thoughts for Chasity. Her Memorial Service was yesterday. It was very sad. But, it definetleygave me some closure. We ended up having about 30 or so people that caravaned up to her small town. There were even 2 regular customers that made the trip. The preacher was Cherokee and evidently has a Cherokee Church. They sang a hym and sang one verse in Cherokee. It was very cool. But, that was about the only thing cool about it. It was by far, the oddest, uncomfortable service I've ever been to.

had a crappy monday too. My sister woke me up saying there was a man in her backyard in her bushes. She had to call the police but they didn't find anyone or anything. We're having some very temporary financial strains at work right now too. It's just an issue of cash flow so it will be fine by Thursday but it's extremley stressful right now! A woman that used to work for us passed away yesterday and his funeral is Wednesday. So, 2 funerals in four days for me! D E P R E S S I N G! I think I've figured out what is going on. Apparently there will be a complete eclipse tomorrow or WEdnesday. There is belief around the world that this type of eclipse causes evil and doom in the world. So, that's what I"m going with right now.

I hope that everyone has a good Tuesday! I'm going to certainly try to.

Just because you love someone doesn't mean you have to put up with all the &#^#% that comes with them. Right now, you are CHOOSING to live with the drama. I think you know that, I'm just sayin'. Me, I choose to live without drama; life is hard enough with out it.

Courtney-glad you had such a good time after the show. I'm looking forward to Winstar too. Should be a good time. The last time I was there was a very fun night! AS for the fair, the night after Winstar, I'm not sure. It would just be me going so I don't know. But, at least we'll have Winstar.

Vicki-thanks for changing that font color! That orange was just near impossible to read and it hurt my eyes. Thanks for the words about Chasity. You're going to Winstar, right? What seats did you get? Hopefully they'll be enough room for all us Junkies up front when we rush the stage! LOL! Remember last year in October when they started like 45 mintues late and people would go up and stand by the stage and the ushers would come by and make them sit. Then, they'd wait a little while and go back up again and then here'd come the ushers again. I think they even made an announcement telling us not to stand by the stage. But, as soon as we heard Gary's intro, we all RAN up there and there was nothing they could do! LOL! That's right. We stick together!

Connie-We had big thunderstorms last night too! They woke me up at 4 a.m. I had a very sleepy start this morning. yes, my life seems to be full of lots of major highs and then deep, deep lows. I see a little bit of a clearing though...THANK GOD! I've got another funeral tomorrow and hopefully, I'll be funeral free and death free for a while.

Funny story...this morning I was awakened at 6:30 by what sounded to be like crashing pots and pans and it just kept going and going and going. So I freaked out, jumped out of bed to find one of my kittens stuck in a brown paper bag running through the house as fast as he could trying to get it off of him. He was so paniced that he was panting and his tongue was hanging out. I ended up having to cut the bag off of him ecause he had somehow managed to get the handle of the bag over his head, down past his torso and stuck just above his hind legs. Poor Guy was completely freaked. He wouldn't even let me get near him. I had to trap him and grab him by the nape of his neck for him to calm down and so I didn't get attacked. Funny now, but annoying at 6:30 am a good two hours before my time to get up. HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!

All this drama is coming from the past...the past is coming up to bite us in the booty! Still...the drama is not horrible, its nothing so serious that its really painful. Its just little stupid stuff...and at this point, its kinda funny! the first drama that happened with my "ex friend" caused tears.....this that happened 2 days ago, I found myself actually smiling while it was happening! lol I also either A) got sick of making Bo out to be the only bad guy or wanted a little "revenge" on him.....so I told him about a time that I messed up when we first got together. Im not innocent, so I told him about it.....he finally felt how I felt!! <---Yep, Im a bad girl! I actually messed up more than he did. I got scared at the beginning....I saw that this could actually be serious and I freaked for a night. As Sugarland would say....IT HAPPENS!

LOL. of course, i cringed near the end of the show when the coast guard did the PON PON signal. just hearing that makes my tummy do flips & flops. might be in part because i've actually heard a mayday call come in at the CG SAR desk when my dad worked there and the fact there are so many lives lost ever years up in the Bering Sea. *sigh*, ok onto better things. The After the Catch should be done now, there was a new show on last night. But I noticed during DC there was a commerical about After the Catch on monday(i think). I don't know if its a new one or a repeat. there was also suppose to be a Deadliest Catch movie sunday(but i think i might have missed it...i think it was last sunday...)

Connie...how are things going?? I know Bret is going off to college this year...is he going to live on campus? Or do you live close enough to the campus that he can live with you? Best of luck moving him in if he is living in a dorm...I remember when I moved into my dorm, CHAOS! lol

As for all my drama...I think its going to work itself out.

Did yall see the new video of Gary in court with Kate?? Wow...he was very "cold" towards her but I think she deserves it.

Alicia, Bret is going to a college that is about an hour and 45 minutes away from home. Freshman on required to live on campus (unless they are commuters). He just found out his dorm assignment and roommate a few days ago. I never look forward to move in/move out days--what a pain!! However, the good thing about being a freshman is that the campus will have lots of people to help move the kids in. They'll help load and carry all of your things to your dorm room. That really makes the job go faster. We'll be moving him in during the last 'shift' of the day (they do it according to last names).

I've been buying a few things for him here and there and will really have to buy most stuff after I get my bonus pay. There are some things that my older son used that Bret can use (like the printer and microwave), so that will save $$.

Bren, I admire you for getting to the gym. You sound like me--I don't want to go to my doctor for any reason because I don't want a lecture!

I'm waiting to see if I get a mandatory call off tonite....i have my fingers crossed that they need me...I have a couple trips i need to pay for so i need to work!

Alicia...that girl is CRAZZZZY! Gary really needed to be cold b/c if he shows any kind of sympathy, she'll grab on to it...I hope she leaves him alone and give him peace...Thats the biggest problem when you're in the public eye...people can become sooo obsessed and delusional..

Connie...good luck with moving Bret....I never had to live in a dorm but I kind of wish I had that experience...

hey all Just stoppin in to say hello.... I have been working my little tail off to be able to be off for 2.5 weeks for the wedding/honeymoon! I cannot wait. ONly 8 more days! So my flower crisis is done, we went with silk flowers!! Hope everyone is well

howdy again ya'll. prowlin the late night hour here. my folks plane they are going on just FINALLY arrived! two hours late. LOL. They are headin out now, i'll have the house to myself this weekend

oh it was just a little toooo crazy for me this week. it was "payroll" cut off and I was pulling the job of 3 people(besides my OWN job) and to top it all off I had to attend jury duty on tuesday and I still had about 100 timesheets to go over before that evening. ek! but thankfully, i was excused from jury duty, it was odd cuz the DA & PD asked if they had seen me before, i was like yup. I workin in juvenile probation for 6 yrs and so i know the judges, PO's, cops...yada yada, i was then dismiss. Now I am just hoping i don't get called on monday or tuesday! lol have been excused for Wed/Thur/Fri since i'm leaving.

ok enough bout me.

I guess you are right about Gary needing to be very cold with Kate. I think she really needs mental help. When I was watching it...I pictured myself in her shoes, having him talk to me like that....I would have cried! lol I would never want Gary or any of my other guys to ever look at me like he was looking at her....gosh, Im so glad that Im not crazy.
