Ok, my Dierks Day, or D Day as I was referring to it. First of all let me say that Friday was HOT and no clouds anywhere. We got to venue about 1 because I got lost three times on my way to Eufaula. Anyway, we got to venue and were 3, 4 and 5 in line. We had our chairs, umbrellas, sunscreen, iPod and player, icechests, mister fans, food, water and frozen washclothes. We sat in line from 1-a little after 3 when they let us in. We saw our first person pass out from the heat while we were waiting in line. THERE WAS NO SHADE ANYWHERE TO BE HAD so everyone was dying from heat. It didn't matter how much water you drank or put on your body, it didn't help. I thought I was going to pass out a few times. Anyway, we got inside and Jennifer ran up to grab front center in the VIP section. I noticed that we would continue to be in direct sunlight and I couldn't do it. Thank God, they had a huge tent up in VIP so I decided to relinquish my front row spot and sit under the tent. Missy did too because she was feeling affects of the heat as well. Jennifer was a rock star and decided to stick it out down there. After about an hour, I was feeling much better so I stuck with under the tent. There were 4 opening acts and they started at 4. One was a local band, the others were Rodger Clyne and the Peace Makers, Kevin Fowler and Jamie Johnson. Didn't really care to hear any of them and I'll be fine if I never have to see Jamie Johnson in concert again! B O R I N G! While Peacemakers were on, I got a text update from Dierks twitter that said he was coming out to sing American Girl with him, so I knew he was coming out before anyone else did, or anyone else that didn't check their twitter. That was pretty cool.

A cool little side story, we were next to this really good looking guy who had his shirt off. Then we noticed he was with a woman in a wheelchair. He was saying that he couldn't really get her anyplace close to where she could see the stage and they didn't have a handicap accessible way to get down to the VIP area which they had tickets for. So, they stayed up by the tent. Anyway, right before The Peacemakers came on, she decided she wanted to go down to VIP so he carried her down the stairs and had a security guard carry her chair. It was so sweet! We watched his beers for him while he was down there and he would come up and grab one every now and then. Then he carried her back up the stairs and they came back to VIP and watched the rest from there. We ended up kinda hanging with them, they'd save seats for us, we'd save seats for them. Then, he ended up getting security to take down this huge Bud Light banner that was on the railing blocking her view to the stage. We also ended up giving them a ride back to the hotel. They were staying at the same one we did and they were there on the corner waiting on the shuttle. WE knew they would be waiting a long, long time so we decided to squeeze them in my car and threw her chair int he back. When Dierks came out we all moved to that railing and had a great view and a cool breeze. Turned out to be a good night after such a hot day. Dierks didn't play very long and we were disappointed in that for sure. He only played for like an hour and fifteen minutes. But, he also didn't come on until after 10:00. It was a late night. He came out to Sideways and me and MIssy were up on the railing doing the Sideways dance he pointed RIGHT AT US and sang for a bit. He pointed to us again in the show while we were dancing. I was the only one there in the Congress Tshirt so I know he recognized it from the stage. He commented on it during the M&G too. It made me want to see him in NOrman REALLY, REALLY BAD! Not sure if I'm going to be able to do it yet. I'll have to wait and see what happens.

So, my M&G was good. It seems to always be with him because he's so nice and actually takes time to talk to us each and all. There were soooo many M&Gs this time. His asst. tour manager Brittney came out and told us that we could only have him sign ONE item and that we needed to have our cameras out and ready as well as what we wanted signed and everything else would have to be left on a table outside the tent. Missy had asked me to have him sign her M&G picture from Tulsa so I was nervous about that because I had TWO items. I put them both in a folder and she stood there and watched everyone as they went in, one by one, to see what they had and she said I had to take it out of the folder so I wasn't able to take Missy's picture in and I felt bad. I had him sign my picture of our other M&G last June. He asked where it was and how far away it was from there. I told him he was scheduled to play Norman in September and he asked if it was just him or him and Brad. Someone asked him if his dogs _ and George were with him and he said no. I had seen Cassidy and their baby earlier in the day over in the catering tent so I knew she was with him. I asked him if he was going to see U2 any and he said yes Sept. 13, Soldier Field in Chicago and he said he was going to try and get a M&G and laughed. He asked how long everyone had been there and told us that he was in KC till 2 am bowling after their show (which I already knew because he tweeted it) and then they pulled into the venue about 7 and he had soundcheck at 8. He said he was really tired but excited about the show. He said he had been up since they pulled in at 7 watching the shows and I said "and tweeting" and he said, "yeah, did you get that?" and I told him yes and he asked if I knew about it before he came out and I said yes because I get updates on my phone and he said he really likes twitter for that reason and he can update everything at the same time. he gave everyone a hug good bye because he had like 40 other M&G between radio and VIP passes. And that was it. Missy knew the guy who was in charge of security there and he happened to be back there making sure we all left and went out the gate so I asked him if he could get her picture signed and he said maybe and told me to leave it on the table so I did in the folder. Later on while Jamie Johnson was on stage, he came back to where we were sitting and handed Missy her folder and walked off. She opened it and the picture was signed and it said, "KALEN, Best Wishes, Dierks" We DIED LAUGHING! I still felt bad but I couldn't stop laughing. I was like, WHY did he sign it to me? And, she said because your email was in the folder right next to it! I still laugh now because it is just funny! Dierks tries to make everything so personalized and I thought it was funny that he looked in the folder than just signing the picture and saw my name and made it out to me. So Missy now has a 8x10 of her and Dierks hugging and it's made out to me!!!! It was a pretty good day. A long one and I wouldn't have even gone if I hadn't have gotten the M&G with him. I got it first and then bought my ticket. I let that be the deciding factor on whether I went or not. The other thing this show made me think was "what the heck am I thinking going to do it again in Miami?????" I must be crazy! One thing is for sure, I won't be standing in line all day. I wont' be expecting anything close this time around. It would have been a different story if they would have let us take our umbrellas in. But, we couldn't take anything in at all! I might be able to at Gary. They aren't as strict. I dont' know, we'll see

How was everyone's 4th? I didn't do much. Steph went to Vermont with the family but I was home. Got to the beach on Saturday and bbq-ed. Yesterday we headed to IKEA. I love IKEA. The quality isn't anything to write home about but the style is more my taste. I picked up a bookcase for $50 and a couple of decorative things I plan on displaying when I get home tonight.

It's official, we're seeing Billy Currington on July 30th at the Songwriters' Series here in NYC. We reserved the same table from last time so we'll ne extra close!

Bren...thats just ridiculous about Rodney not putting his arm around anyone! I hope it was just a one time deal and not a new thing for all time. Ever since his "people" have been going through changes....new management and stuff, he is going all "big time"....he hasnt been acting like the same ol' Rodney.

Kalen...dont worry about me! lol I go through phases about wanting a baby...mostly bc I know Bo would make a cute baby AND he would be there for it no matter what happens between us. I know its not a good idea and Im not trying....I just have my thoughts. Bo comes with a lot of baggage...some of it Im ok with, other Im having to work really hard to not let it bother me too much. I like his daughter and I like spending time with her...I wish he had her more often so I could get more "mommy time" bc that would help me not want one of my own. Im absolutely happy with being a step-momma....but him only having her every other weekend doesnt fill my quota! lol

Oh and by the way....found out he has a ring for me! I saw it...and its UGLY!! lol What would yall do? I want a ring....a "promise ring"....bc its way too early to even be talking engagements, I can see myself marrying him SOMEDAY so I would just want a ring to show people that HE is taken! lol I want those girls to back off my man! I dont want THAT ring though...how would yall handle that situation?

Also, already told you...I will do all the waiting for us in Miami if you need me to! You will just have to give me a couple minutes not long before the show starts to run to the casino bathroom to freshen up...thats all the payback I will ask of you for sitting out in the sun forever to get us both front row!

How is everyone's day? mine is good--bought Gary's Today on itunes...went and did a an hour of Cardio--Got get the "body by bride" or "body for Gary" going on!! lol...then I came home and PUSH MOWED a whole acre--I think I am nuts...I sweat my behind off!!! But now I feel great!

I am getting so ancy for all the things happening this month but I can't decide if I am more excited for Gary's Concert or my Wedding....Actually I can--but I would feel bad for admitting it!! HAHAHAHA

Well yesterday was a Monday alright. It was crazy. Today is better.

11 Days till Kenny in San Francisco and 16 Days till Keith in Sacramento.

Got pretty good seats for Kenny and excellent seats for Keith and also a BSE!

How was everyone's 4th? Mine was quite except the drive to Tahoe was a nightmare.

I have a question....people say "Love conquers all" but Im getting told to turn and RUN away from Bo bc of his baggage that he has. So how much is TOO much for love to be able to conquer and you should just give up and walk away?? Yall already know that Bo has a daughter from a past relationship...love her to pieces. well, he has another ex now saying that she is preggers and that the kid is his. He says that there is no way that the kid is his...but he wont follow up on it and talk to the girl to find out FOR SURE. What would yall do? I have no problem being a step mom rather than popping out kids of my own....but I wish he would stop shrugging this whole thing off and get it figured it out. Is that means enough to leave the first guy I have ever had any kind of love feelings for?

Alicia-I think you should talk to Bo about how you feel about it, and that he should follow up with this other girl JUST IN CASE... What if it his kid? Would that change your feelings for him? Maybe he is scared of how you would react if he has the "love feelings" too....

Hi, everyone! I've been without internet access since Thursday except for about an hour Sunday morning and an hour last night. I'm so mad at my provider who won't permanently fix the problem.

Alicia, good luck with working out everything with Bo. I think he should really follow up on the paternity issue with his other ex in case she tries to sue for child support. Maybe he is worried about how you'll react to this and is afraid of losing you. I don't really believe the saying that love conquers all. Sometimes there are circumstances that love cannot overcome no matter how hard (and how long) you try. Both parties have to be in it and commit to the relationship 100%. If one person isn't, then the other will eventually have nothing left to give. In order to save one's own sanity and identity, sometimes you have to call it quite. From experience, I know this to be true. However, just because Bo has a daughter and perhaps other 'baggage' that is no reason to give up and run at this point. We all have baggage of one kind or another. If you truly love and care about each other, you can make it work.

Thanks for the advice Courtney and Connie! That really helps me out. I was a little shocked that I had people telling me to run away. I guess thats why the divorce rate is so high these days...too many people just wanting to run away from problems instead of trying to work through them.

Who watched Deadliest Catch?? Highlights were few but it was pretty funny seeing Phil and Keith get into it over the radio. The part that got me the most was the previews for next episode with _ crying on the phone to his mom about coming home...I wonder what happened. I cant wait to see that.

Alicia, I agree with Courtney and Connie - no need for running. You guys probably just need to get to the bottom of it and remember you're in it together. If you're committed to the relationship, you'll roll with the highs and lows (not saying this is a low, it is what it is, not good, not bad). I agree everyone's got baggage, be it emotional baggage, children, exes, etc. Everyone picks these up along the way and anyone who says they don't have any is a phoney baloney, and I don't like phoney baloneys! Well, I do like baloney on a sammy but that's a whole different story.

Hi, Barb! How are you doing? Bret is doing great--thanks for asking! He hasn't had a seizure since mid-March (after he foolishly didn't take his meds all weekend). He is getting really excited about heading off to college at the end of next month. He broke up with his girlfriend earlier this week, so he's 'single' again. (Mama says 'thank goodness'! The girl was nice but has no goals or dreams and Bret admitted to having to give up a lot to be with her. Not a good thing to do at this young age).

My dad just called from Honduras today..one of cousins was in a car accident today and she hit her head..she is in a coma and having seizures. She's in surgery right now because for a head bleed..my dad couldn't give me to much info..but if you guys can keep her in your prayers...I greatly appreciate it...she's only 18y/o and the medical care is not the best over there...

Hey i checked into the Thackerville concert and it just says tickets go on sale on the 13th of this month. Box office opens at 10am that is all I could get.

I think Im having second thoughts about going up to the Oklahoma shows in Sept.....I think it will really depend on how the Miami show goes. I might still buy my show tickets but I wont decide for sure if Im going until after the Miami show.

As for my last day of vacation....it didnt go as planned. Bo ended up not coming over after all....he went home after work to shower, when he got out of the shower his mom had taken his truck without asking and knowing that he was coming over here! She didnt get back home till 10pm! So he ended up not coming over. I was really irritated.

Well...now I got to get off and go for a run and then start getting ready for work.

Barb-I got the same "info" from Winstar, not giving out alot of info there are they? Weird.

Alicia-I feel like I need to drive down to where you are and sit you down. What's this about not going to Gary's OK shows? Any particular reason or are you just over it? I know my sister said she feels like she's "seen" his shows and kinda doesn't care about whether she goes or not. Didn't get tickets for the OKC show yet because I'm waiting on missy. She says her husband can get them half price. now, onto your Bo. First of all, I don't think it's time to run. But, I do definetely think it's time to QUESTION things. How old is he? Why does he have a thing for making babies? And, he still lives with his mom? My first question besides why does he keep wanting babies would be why is he not handling the situation with this other girl that just popped up? It really makes me wonder why all of a sudden you talked about wanting a baby. Is he the kind of guy that is with a girl, gets her pregnant and walks away from the girl? Or it could be that he is just scared of what you'll do if it is his baby. Were you all together then? If not, then it shouldn't matter. however, as you know, baggage can be so annoying and it can destroy relationships. I've seen it happen. Sounds like someone needs to buy that kid a box of condoms FAST and teach him how to use them. Not time for running, but seriously take some time and THINK about him. I'm not sure that I could do it. But, that's just me. Also, the whole love conquers all theory is pure BS. that is stuff that fairytales teach young girls and we know that fairy tales are pure fiction. It's an idealistic take on things and it would be great if it were true, but unfortunately, it's not.

Sue....when I saw Billy open for Sugarland and saw him walking around outside before the show, I would say he is at least 5'10"....around Gary's height. Thats not TOO bad.

Kalen...I dont know why Im thinking about not going to the OK shows in Sept. Maybe Im getting burnt out on going to shows...maybe Im thinking of the future truck payments...or maybe it has something to do with Bo, I finally have someone in my life I would rather spend time with. *shrugs*

Onto Bo situation...the girl didnt just POP up, I might have miss worded that earlier...he has know about it since they broke up but says that it isnt his. I think he is worried that it IS his and he is trying to make himself believe that there is no way it is by repeatedly saying "There is no way."...he is definitely not the type to walk away, which is why he really doesnt want it to be his bc he doesnt want a kid with her. If it is his, he will be there for it. He is 27yrs old and lives with his parents bc he is taking care of them....he pays all their bills for them. His dad cant work due to disability and his mom is just too lazy or something to get a job....so Bo is taking care of his parents. Honestly...him having kids with other girls isnt a big deal to me, I have always been open to being a step mom...it effects him more than it does me bc he has to pay for it.

Well....enough about my love life! lol I got to get to bed....I will talk to yall later!

Sue, I met Billy last summer and I was looking him in the eye. I am 5'4" so he couldn't be more than 5'5" or 5'6". They always seem taller on stage.

Kind of a quiet Friday for me. A week from Saturday is Kenny and Thursday after that is Keith, so quiet is good right now.

Hey ladies!! how is everyone?!?! I am good...sitting at home...had so much &#^#% to do today...had to do stuff for this job i am trying to get..it is taking forever...but i keep taking the next steps...so that is good, they just have to be careful since i will be working with newborns.

Wedding plans are "going" it gets more stressful as it gets closer....but hey only 21 more days then i will be married and this will all be done!!! Whew...

Only 7 days until the next gary concert! I am super stoked about it!! I just want it to get here...I am ready for a get away...with all 3 of our kids home out of school and the wedding plans i need A BREAK!!!

Billy Currington AKA shorty....will be in OKC i think in Sept???? So I will be going to that...I am a new fan of his..i like his "beer is good" song...

Alicia-is everything working out for you? Sorry your vacation ended crappy....but alone time can always be good...trust me on that when you talk about babies and step babies...you barely ever get "you time" so enjoy it!!

I get Gary in a week! I was excited till I remembered that next weekend is RODEO WEEKEND here.....I have to miss the rodeo.

Alicia..poor Bo seems he has ALOT of baggage starting with his parents...actually my bestfriend has the same problem with her boyfriend..before they got together, he was with another girl but he didn't want to be with her...when he broke it off, she told him that she was pregnant..now they share custody of the little girl but he pays for the daycare...the little girl though loves my bestfriend and calls her mommy Angela...you can make it work if you love him

Wow ring shopping! That is awesome...so a promise ring is an engagemnt ring of the engagement ring??? lol... I had a ring before "the ring" I didn't want it to be a diamond though since I wanted my first diamond ring to be the engagment band....I had a ruby which is my birthstone...

My saturday is ok...we were suppose to get the flowers ready & ordered for the wedding, and well FAIL....now we are having floral problems. So we will see what happens of all this....only 19 days to figure it out...STRESS STRESS...NEED GARY lol....jk...I cannot wait until my bday get away from all this~

Wow...my life is a soap opera...I should sell the rights to my story to a tv network and finally get something from all this drama I go through!!

I went out "dancing" last night at a local bar/dance hall and found out why it kinda sucks to live in a small town.....2 of Bo's exes were there and a "used to be friend" of mine that he has not dated but has...YA KNOW. So 3 people who were there to make me miserable! One of the exes was his pregnant ex! The one we have been talking about! I about hit the floor when I walked in and saw her! Thats the first time I have ever seen her in person. I was too scared to talk to her...but after I left one of my friends talked to her and supposedly she is pregnant...but she was DRINKING LIKE A FISH! Doing shots and all! Great mothering skills she has. So I thought that was enough to ruin my night....NOPE!! My "ex friend" decided to tell me some other stuff that caused big drama and a few tears to fall.

Gosh...I love my life, who wouldnt want my life!!

Ah, Alicia, sorry to hear about all the drama in your life lately. I can see where your fun evening out was rained upon, so to speak. Even if you have the attitude that 'the past is the past' seeing and hearing things like that are bound to get to you. Hang in there!

It's rainy here today, so I was able to actually sleep in this morning. I'm feeling miserable because I have been breaking out with poison ivy for days now. I don't even know how I got it. Every day I have new spots--yuk! The OTC stuff provides only temporary relief. I may have to end up trying to go to the doctor tomorrow. Needless to say, I'm sticking close to home.

The Keith Urban concert Saturday night was fantastic! I have to say it was the best concert I have seen in awhile. He came out into the audience twice and came out right by our section. If only I could have been on the end of our row I could have touched him. I don't want to give too much away because I don't want to spoil it for others like Kalen. Loved his light up guitar and the video screens. The video screens would angle down and for a few songs they would hang over the stage and light up and it looked like a ceiling over the stage. He had risers on both ends of the stage and a catwalk down the middle. He brought out Radney Foster to sing Songs About Rain with him because he wrote the song and is from Texas. Jason Aldean was really good also. I have a bunch of pictures but have not gotten them uploaded yet. I will post a link to them later.

I got my tickets this morning for Gary at Winstar and right after I bought them I got the email about the presale later today. I'm going to try again and hope I get better.

Alicia, I hope all the drama with your friends and Bo goes away soon so you can just enjoy the relationship. Living in a small town like that, everybody knows your business.

How was everyone's weekend? We beached it and had dinner with friends. All around fun until yesterday morning when the new neighbors' dog was off leash and he chased after me and my little Shea. I thought my bf and Stephanie were able to scare him off but he got away from them forcing me to toss Shea over the fence into the backyard. I just made it in myself.

Wow, when you read it back it's sorta funny.

No damage done but the new neighbor lady didn't even apologize.

They opened up 12 Tim Hortons today in the city. Does anyone have them in your hoods? I've only seen them in Canada but now we city folk have been blessed by the coffee gods.

I thought that too....so I asked Bo about it, he told me the whole truth and then begged, apologized, kissed, explained, and sucked up to no end! My thoughts are "people make mistakes" and he didnt cheat on me which helped my decision to give him another chance. People give up on things too easy these days which is why there are so many divorces...Im a stubborn butt so I wont go down easy!!

I hope everyone is having a nice Monday so far. My week is not great....I work ALL THE TIME!! I hate being so reliable sometimes. I was supposed to work 4 doubles this week....I did get someone to cover my Friday night shift though so I will be able to go to the rodeo with Bo and Morgan, which makes the week a little better. So only 3 double this week for me.

Going ring shopping on Wednesday, Rodeo on Friday, and then Gary on Sat., and a day of hanging out with Kalen on Sunday! Pretty jam packed week for me.

Hey everyone!! i am getting so excited about the weekend!! It is coming so fast!! Gary in 5 days!! I am so ready!! I bought my tickets for Thackerville today...going to check out the FC tix at 5 and see if they are any better than what I got. The wedding flowers are still screwed...Have no idea what i am going to do..maybe going to do fake flowers...the silk ones are pretty and look darn near real.

oh oh oh I GOT THE JOB!! finally, got the call today, my first day is Friday...only paper work though... =] I am officially a "newborn baby hearing screaner for Integris Medical Center" yayayayayaya...
