Hey ya'll. I won't be on later tonight because I'm going to a FREE Craig Morgan concert at one of the casinos here. But, just checking in. I watched DC last night too and was disappointed in the NON Drama like the previews made it out to be. I also found myself laughing at Sig as he was having those pains. I dont' know why because it could be serious. But, it was funny. That entire boat makes me laugh anyways. So, needless to say they are my favs. I don't know their jobs indivdually, but:

So the Kenny concert last night was awesome. It was my first, definitely not my last. I was shocked to hear he'd never played Jones Beach before. It's such a neat outdoor venue. He was straight up trippin' about high tide washing up under the stage and into the front rows. He also he'd never played so close to water before which I could not believe. I guess this was different because the stage is literally built over the ocean.

Lady A and Miranda Lambert were outstanding. Lady A sounds a lot better live and Miranda talks to the crowd a lot.

It was raining when we got there so it was a little miserable but then when Kenny came on it had cleared and even warmed up.

We took a friend who isn't into country and it was still hard to get her to come around but she still enjoyed herself.

We also went with Doreena which was wonderful as usual.

There's another Songwriters' Series at Jones Pub here in the city and who is the special guest?? Billy Currington! I'm dying. I may flash him.

Kalen....have fun at Craig Morgan! When I saw him at a festival in 2007, he was really good. I think you will like him.

Sue....thats hilarious that Kenny was flipping out about the water being under the stage! lol I would have been a little freaked out too if I was on the front row and all of a sudden my feet were in water. What exactly did he say? Anything specifically funny that he said? I cant wait to see your pics.

Connie....both of those had their career highs when I was young, so I wasnt too attached to them.....though I cared more about Farrah than MJ. It was still very odd to hear that he had died....that was very unexpected.

It was an awesome show. Jones Beach theater is built right on the Long Island Sound. By 10 pm when high tide was in, the lot where the buses were parked were in water as well

Alicia, back to Kenny. When the water came in he actually got the drummer's attention and pointed to the water. It was hilarious how taken aback he was. The buses were in water just like Steph said. If anyone was walking back to them, they were getting wet.

Well Good afternoon guys!! So the thing with Lance may be looking up. I talked to him and told him what I really wanted (her to fall off the planet) in a nice way, but how I am willing to compromise...as long as he is too. SO plan is to talk to her...him and me together, fill her in on the situation... AND for the next 4 weeks leading to the wedding that they will have no contact so that we can just focus on us and building whatever is necessary for me to forgive her and work on my insecurities...He agree's that we don't have to invite her to the wedding bc he doesn't want me stressin' on our day! =] YAY!!!

IN other news!! I got the job I really wanted!!! =] I am currently in nursing school and I want to be a labor & delivery nurse...SOOOOO I got a job on the labor & delivery floor at our local hospital doing the hearing screens on newborns!! HOW FUN!!! I am waiting on the background check to finish!! I am praying all that goes through smoothly..(I have never done anything criminally wrong, but I don't know what all they check as far as past jobs)

and OMG OMG my wedding is 5 weeks from today!! where did the time go!!!! Stressin' like crazy!! BUT i gave my dad a choice of like 5 songs..."stealing cinderella" "my little girl" "i loved her first" "You raised me up" & "tough little boys"...AND HE PICKED GARY!! yaya~!

Well, last night I had a dinner party for some family members that are visiting...everybody left by 1am but I had to wake up by 3am to take my parents to the airport b/c they're goin to Honduras for 2 weeks for my grandmother's 99th bday...I was hurting this morning and my allergies are killing me...I had planned to go to see Natasha Bedingfield at Universal tonight but my nose is not cooperating!!!!

Alicia...funny, I started following Rodney's and Blake's twitter..they crack me up...Congrats on seeing Dierks for 4th of July..I put in for a m&g for Rodney for that day...haven't heard anything yet....

Courtney..congrats on the wedding, new job, and nursing school...I got married in my last semester and the hardest semester of nursing school (very stressful!!!)...I had a breakdown the friday before my wedding and I over slept on the day of my wedding...I worked night shift and I had to study for finals..but now i can laugh about it!!!

Sue, Steph and Dor..glad you guys had a good time at the KC concert and thank you for the concert call...I was at work so I had it on speaker so my co-work could hear also..

My town had its "WaterFest" this weekend (the town has many natural springs and back in the day it used to be a destination for those who were sick--the waters were supposed to heal you of your ailments). Last night I went and listened to a band and watched the fireworks display.

It is much cooler around here today. I've taken a walk, mowed the front yard, and put a roast in the crockpot. I need to do some more 'housework' chores but not feel like it.

I talked to my dad yesterday and his flight went well but when I turned on the internet today..the front page says military coup in Honduras...I've been trying to reach him to see whats going on over there..their president was an ally to the Venezulan president and both want to be dictators...now that the Honduran president is out, the congressial president (who happens to be one of my dad's cousin) is replacing him until there is an election...

ok....I just got off the phone with my dad...he says that everything is fine..people didn't cause riots or anything but I'm sure they are happy now to get rid of that guy..he has brought down the people there...

Hey guys....sorry I havent checked in much this weekend! I actually tried to get out and have a life this weekend...and the rest of the time I have had to work, work, work!!

Connie...I didnt find anyone to go out with me, I ended up going to an old High School friends house....who happens to be a guy! We just watched a movie...but the boyfriend still wasnt too happy about it until a reassured him that HE is the only one I want....I didnt try to get him for 8yrs to mess it up within the first 2 weeks! lol

Bren....I hope things are going ok for your parents down in Honduras. Thats pretty cool that your dad's cousin is the new president.

Hi everybody!

Not much going on in my world lately. I went and got my passport application turned in today for our cruise. It's been too hot to get out and do too much. I tried to stay out in the pool Sunday but by noon it was already getting too hot. The pool water is 92 degrees so it's not as refreshing as it should be. We thought about getting blocks of ice to throw in it. I spent most of Saturday cleaning out my closet.

Alicia, sorry you had no one to go out with. I had alot of guy friends when I was your age but whoever I was dating never seemed to understand that we were just friends. I'm glad you were able to reassure Bo. 8 years is a long time to finally get the one you want just to mess it up, so be careful!

The temps have finally gotten below 100 around here. Tonight was actually kind of pleasant like in the upper 80's so we drove out to the lake and drove around.

Barb...at least you have a pool to be able to cool off in and get sun at the same time....if I lay out to get some sun, Im stuck cooking on dry land with no way to cool off. Im thinking with the heat the way it has been lately Im going to start laying out with the sprinkler going near me where I get some sprinkles while I lay out.

We are supposed to get a cold front coming in and its going to get down to a very cool 95 degrees!

Tomorrow is my last day of work before we are closed for a whole week!! Im so happy to have a whole week off. I will finally have time to work out and get tan for the Gary show....having to work all the time has really put a dint in my workout schedule.

Hey Junkies. Sounds like everyone had a decent weekend. It was super hot here too! Tulsa is seeing some heat waves! I decided to spend my weekend in a cool place...the movie theater. Saw a movie Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Propsal, The Hangover and Away We Go. All were really good!

Alicia-I'm right there with at having no friends to do anything with. IT SUCKS! LOL! I'm sure that it's too late for M&G with DB by Saturday.

It's cool we are all getting a Dierks fix this week. Connie, me and Alicia. I just found out last night that he's going to be at RiverWind in Norman on September 10th and i want to go soooo badly but no money right now to buy a ticket. I'm trying to save my money for the Gary shows that go onsale this month. It wouldn't be so bad if all the shows didn't go on sale at the same time!

Havent felt good today. Came home from work and slept all day.

Bren-glad to hear your allergies are getting better. pretty scary about your Dad being in Honduras. I was reading about that on the crawl on CNN and didn't really understand which side was good or bad. Can you imagine if a military coup was to happen in this country? Weird that stuff like that still goes on. Scary world. But, I'm glad your dad is OK. I guess the fact that he's related to the new guy is a good thing in this case. Thanks for the history lesson. Hey everyone!! Good Wednesday morning to everyone!!

Its my first official full day of vacation....and its RAINING!! It doesnt rain for 3yrs and then it decides to start up when I have a vacation and need some sun to get a tan. lol

I just got done watching the ep. of Deadliest Catch and After the Catch from last night....those boys are funny! I know I saw that Kalen tweeted about Edgar being better looking off the boat....I found myself being attracted to Andy Hillstrand!! He looked good. Oh, and I loved Keith's shirt...spiffy!

Bo and I were talking babies again last night!! I dont know what it is about this guy that makes me lose all my common sense!! I know I dont need a baby.....and Im definitely way too vain to think I will be happy with actually being pregnant, especially since Im finally getting in shape and to where Im happy with what I look like.....but thats all I can think about, wanting a dang baby with him NOW!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Its so bad that Ive actually thought about breaking up with him just to make the thoughts stop!! I think it has something to do with my age....Im getting to that age where the female body starts changing and making you yearn for the motherly connection. Its driving me bonkers....I really hope I dont let these foolish thoughts ruin me! I have to stay strong!

If I did get preggers though...yall would totally be its god-mothers!

Kalen...it's been quiet in Honduras right now but it might getting worse later this week..my dad says the old pres wants to come back and the congress wants interpool to intervene and bring him to court...its crazy...the first time I went there it was during the Sandinista war, then one year there were protest by teachers and they blocked roads out of San Pedro, and another year the electricity would go out at night....I love going there cause of my family and there are some beautiful places to visit but the government needs to be more stable...tourism was starting to grow but it might decrease with all these problems....

Alicia...that's funny about you not wanting a baby cause you're vain...but you have a great head on your shoulder...enjoy life first...i'm too selfish right now to have a baby its hard to travel with a baby and I LOVE to travel!!!

BTW!!! I got a m&g with Rodney Atkins..actually I won 2 tickets and 2 m&g...my hubby is excited...the only problem is that we have 2 extra tickets and our only friends that like country music are out of town that day!!!! Anybody want to come down to florida for a Rodney concert?

Alicia and Kalen, enjoy your Dierks show in 2 days. I won't be seeing him tonight after all. It just isn't working out. The gal I was going to drive into Kansas City with is sick. One friend I was gonna meet up with had to cancel because she had to have a biopsy yesterday and is afraid of getting bumped in the crowd. The other gal I was going meet up with is having a really bad day and doesn't really feel like getting out tonight. I've got a really bad headache, so I don't really feel like driving into KC by myself, paying for parking, fighting the crowds and having to stand for hours by myself and not being able to take a break for food/drink/bathroom, etc. It's not a very big area where he'll be performing the free show, so it's not worth all the hassle. I think I'll just stay home.

Bren, congrats on the Rodney tickets and m/gs. That's cool!

Howdy Everyone...AGAIN!! Here I go again with no life! lol

I went and watched The Hangover last night....pretty darn funny! I think Im in love with Bradley Cooper.

I dont have much to say really....my vacation has been pretty boring. Hopefully seeing Dierks tomorrow will makes things more exciting.

I need to go for a run and lay out for a tan again....its CRUNCH TIME!!

Wow....everyone is slacking!! I wasnt on for more than 24hrs and nobody has posted at all.

Where is Bren telling everyone about the GREAT time her and Frank had with Rodney!! Where are your pics Bren?? I know you said that you didnt get any good ones of him during the show bc of the sun going down....but I still want to see some of them, and of course yours and Frank's M&G pics!

Where is Kalen telling everyone about the GREAT time she had with Dierks?!?!? lol And pics?!? She also had a M&G that should could tell us all about! Come on people....stop slacking on me! (just saw your myspace and saw that you had them on there)

As for me and my Dierks experience....It was fun. We sat out in the sun for 8hrs, first people there! Whoot Whoot! We had chairs and umbrellas and those fans that squirt water....and it was still pretty miserable! I had my hair down but had it put up by the time we got from the car to the stage. I really dont mind sitting in the sun all day and sweating....if only our "look" could hold up during it, ya know?!?! lol If I could sweat all day and still look like I did when I first got ready...that would be perfect! There were Army "presentations"....like where helicopters and jets would fly over and they showed Army dogs doing their thing....and they had some people parachute out of a helicopter. During that time, Connie and I went to the bathroom to make sure we didnt have to go during Dierks...I left my camera in my chair....as we were walking back to our seats they wouldnt let us go back onto the field yet bc they were about to do the "color guards" presentation and we had to wait for them to go onto the field, do their thing, then come back off the field to be able to get back to our seats! The only thing that happened was Dierks ended up having to squeeze through the crowd right by us to get backstage...but I didnt have my camera to take a pic!! Finally we got back to our seats and the show started not long after. Dierks was good, like expected. The first song was "Sideways" and during the part that says "It looks like you came to rock in your blue jeans and white tank top" he scanned the crowd for a white tank top and found ME and sang that whole part to me with his sexy eyes! He got down and stood on the security gate in front of an overzealous fan who was pulling on him and wouldnt let go...he had to stop the song and unlike Kenny who will give the person a stern talking to Dierks just said "Ok honey, this is getting a little awkward, I dont even know you! Whats your name? (she said her name) Ok, Well, Jennifer I need to get back to work now." she finally let go of him....you would think he would have headed back to the stage to get away from her but he didnt, he stayed in front of her singing for a little while longer. At one point he mentioned about how he had seen people set their stuff up early and sit in the heat all day...and he pointed to me and Connie! A couple songs later he got down in the crowd again and sat on the security gate right in between Connie's arms...he started asking her what kind movies she liked and then said "For any good movie....you need a couple things....COLD BEER (handed Connie a Bud Lite) and some POPCORN (ate a bite of popcorn then handed it to Connie)" then his "What was I thinkin" video started playing on the screen and he said "Oh, man not this movie again! I feel like I have seen it a thousand times!" The girl that had been handing him the beer and popcorn was standing there with one more beer....and before he headed to the stage he grabbed it and handed it to me then ran to the stage! So we both got a Bud Lite from Dierks!! Woo hoo! Finally the show was over....the Army gave Dierks a present and then the fireworks started! They played clips of songs during them that showed the "American Spirit"....so of course they played Rodney's "Its America"....I jumped up and down!!

Well...Im off to go swimming with Bo and his daughter!! Talk to yall later! I will have pictures up later.

Happy Belated 4th to everybody!!!

I had a great weekend..starting with my Rodney concert and m&g...I won 2 m&gs and took my husband, frank since he really likes Rodney...poor thing only slept 3 hours b/c he worked the night before...It was a blistering hot day but the opening acts were not interesting...I had to wait for our m&g til 6 so we tried to stay out of the sun and drank lots of water...by the time our m&g came around, my hair was frizzed from the humidity, sticky sweaty, and a little stinky from the heat ...We met up with 20 other fans that were meeting Rodney...Brian (his manager) took us to the tent where we would do our m&g...Frank made it clear that he wanted his picture with Rodney by himself ( )..when it was my time, Rodney shook my hand and asked my name...he signed a picture and I told him that I just love his music and he said that meant the world to him...Neither Rodney or I were ready for the picture, he was saying something about the weather and i was laughing when Brian took our picture...Frank came up to Rodney and said it was a nice to meet you and ROdney said no it was a pleasure to meet you and they said some other things and when frank was walking away ROdney told him to have a great weekend...frank was giddy like a little girl..it was so cute! We had met a couple in line of the m&g and they saved us 2 front row seats...the concert was awesome and got lots of attention (probably b/c i was the only person that knew all his songs)...towards the end of the concert a group of kids ran to the front during "watchin you"..Rodney's face lit up when he saw them...I got 2 guitar pics from ROdney....Funny thing that i wasn't so nervous as I was with Gary but Gary is my 1st love...I do have a crush on Rodney though..lol

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! Mine was kind of boring. Stayed home all weekend and did chores around the house except for Saturday, I hung out by the pool by myself.

Alicia, sounds like you had a really great time seeing Dierks. Sitting out in the heat all day is worth it sometimes. I wish we could all keep our makeup and hair fresh after waiting like that all day in the heat and humidity. I'll check out your pictures in a bit. Still waiting to hear from Kalen. I haven't seen her post in a week. Hope she is doing fine.

Bren, your Rodney concert sounded like a lot of fun too! Congrats on getting the M & G for both of you.

Bren...thanks for the review and pics! Your pics came out way better than I was expecting from how you were talking...Rodney looks great, and Judd is yummy too! I have a question though...WHY IN THE HECK IS RODNEY's ARM NOT AROUND YOU AND FRANK DURING YOUR M&G PICS?!?!?! He usually always puts his arm around the person's shoulders with his hand resting either on their shoulder or on their arm. Also, I have NEVER seen him wear his cargo pants on stage...he is always wearing his jeans on stage and his cargos when he is just chillin'. Hmmmm.....I wonder if he maybe was taking a nap before the show and got started getting ready late so had to wear them on stage?? kinda like Gary and his uggs that one time. Did you see Tammy Jo or Elijah?

Alicia...Rodney didn't put his arm around anybody during the m&g ...one lady totally grabbed him and had her arms around him..he looked sooo scared...but he didn't get close to anybody...he was nice enough to bend down close to my hieght for our picture..idk, maybe next time....I looked for Tammy Jo b/c I read she was there but I didn't see her...he might of been late b/c there were tons of people that walked up for a picture with him after we had our m&g...Brian looked like he was about to explode! Hey Junkies-

Haven't been on in a while. I haven't been feeling well since last Monday. I even went to the doctor to make sure everything was OK. I had a minor panic attack last Monday and went home. Anyway, still feeling nauseous and my neck and jaw is killing me! I'm going to chiropractor today to see if that helps any. Just renewed my membership. Don't want to put in for a M&G for Miami though. My luck I'd get it and look like &#^#% from it being an outdoor show.

Bren-I'm cracking up at you talking about Blake's tweets! I crack up at him! He tweets so much and I have him on text updates, he fills up my phone memory for texts! But,I think it's really cool that he does because not every artist does their own.

Steff-sorry to hear you're having a difficult time. It totally sucks! Been there! Just hang with friends, cry and do what you can to get through it. It will fade...in time. Unless you go out and get another BF; that might make the healing go faster! LOL!

Barb-You see Keith this Saturday???? WOW! I'm jealous! LOL! Just kidding. I'll see him soon enough. Have I told you that my friend Missy found two tickets in the front section for his concert here in Tulsa? They should be about 4 rows back from stage. And, we're hoping they let people rush stage. I know he comes out into the audience at least once during the show. Sorry, you had a kinda boring weekend. Mine was kinda the same. It didn't help that I don't feel good.

I know why you think that...because you're in love and it's new and he obviously makes cute kids but seriously! Think about it! EVERYDAY OF YOUR LIFE HAVING TO DEAL WITH A BABY...CRYING...POOPING...FEEDING...NOT SLEEPING...NOT WORKING...NOT WORKING OUT...NOT GOING TO CONCERTS! Not to mention...YOU'RE SO YOUNG! My goodness girl! I about fell off this stool at work when I read that! Plus, would you continue to be a waitress? What about health insurance? Where would you live? And, you are right about one thing, if you have a good support system you can still do things you like but it changes everything! Not just your life, it changes you as a person. Hold off for a bit.
