Kalen - I wish I had a video of the river trip. My bf kept his life jacket on the whole time, hahaha. I really shoulda recorded the car ride there. It's hilarious because when he's driving and we're navigating, he takes no responsibility for the road ahead. We either tell him where to go and where to turn or he'll drive into the ocean. On the other hand, I'm a terrible navigator so he calls me Magellan. We were lost in Massachusetts once and I couldn't get us on the right track so he actually pulled over to ask a bunch of cows (seriously) because I was no help.

Well, I've been watching the CMT Awards. I must say, I LOVE seeing Dierks on here so much! I loved his little bit he just did with that comedian who suprisingly kissed him on the mouth! The reaction on his face was just priceless. He's so stinking cute and he looks darned good in that beigy, clingy white shirt too! I'm also glad that Taylor Swift hasn't won EVERY SINGLE AWARD.

CMT Awards - I actually liked the show.

I scored some great tix for Keith's show in Sacramento yesterday. Did not want to say anything till official. I am so excited.

Anyone on here going to Gary's show in San Jose. Have not seen anything on this.

Alicia, all I know so far about the Winstar tickets is they go on sale thru Winstar on July 13th. You can call or try ordering online. Not sure if the fanclub will have a presale or not, they didn't last year. I would get a ticket for you but since I have to order for my group I can't guarantee I can get a ticket that you would want. If you just order 1 for yourself you would probably stand a better chance at getting what you want. It really doesn't matter as long as your VIP because they will let you up to the stage at Winstar.

And did I miss something? I thought you only had a younger sister. Are those nieces and nephews from an older sister or brother? I can't see you babysitting for so many.

Things are so slow at work right now. I am really having a hard time staying till quiting time. They finally put us back to 40 hours though!

Ok I will just try for a single ticket and try to get by yall when we are all able to get near the stage if we all have VIP. They dont go on sale until July 14th?!?! Dang. I hope the FC does a presale, that would help out.

I finished watching the CMT Awards...sorta! I Tivoed the re-run show of it and it got started about 11min late bc of the show before it running late....so I missed the last 11 minutes of the show. Anything exciting happen in those last minutes? I fast forwarded through most of the show....definitely the only highlights I saw was; Taylor Swift rapping, Sugarland and the B-52's singing together, and Rodney presenting an award. From what I saw....no Kenny at all? Was he even there? of course no Gary....and Rodney only presenting (did he perform at the end and I missed it?), thats cause enough to make the show BORING!

Hi, everyone! My sons and I had a great time @ the baseball game. Besides getting a free t-shirt, we saw Gil Mechse pitch a shut out, a Royal stole a base so we won free slushes @ Sonic, Royals won 5-0, and we had fun together.

It has been HOT, HOT, HOT here the past 2 days. I did my gardening this morning while it was still semi-cool.

I'm so glad that I got my front row seat to my Gary show in August during the state fair presale because there were none available during the fan club presale a few days ago--there weren't any seats in the front center section available at all.

I saw the pic of them on the red carpet and it was ADORABLE!!!!! I love that he loves his dogs that much.

Connie-sounds like a great day at the park. I'm jealous. I'm right there with ya on the heat. But, I'm not complaining at all because I like summer so much better than any other season. I'm just thankful that someone invented air conditioning. Because, without it, I couldn't stand the heat. But, as long as I have somewhere cool to go, I'm fine with it.

I'm so stinking busy today! And, my sister just called and asked me to babysit while she takes her husband to the hand surgeon. So, now, I'm not going to get part of what I wanted to get done, done. Oh well.

Hey Ya'll. It's FRIDAY!!!! No work for me this weekend either. I have to share something with you all that is kinda funny to me...now. It wasn't last night! Last night my whole freakin' family went on this fundraiser called Top of the Town. Basically we got to go on a trolley and tour some of the nice, high rise buildings downtown. At each stop there was something there waiting for us, like a bar and snacky type food. Anyway, we ALL go. We meet at this one restaurant that is PACKED because Dane Cook was in town last night too. So, it's crowded as heck and of course all my family wants to do is go to the bar. So, we wait for about 15 minutes before getting served and then, decide to forget it and then decide after we had already decided to go on to the next stop to stick it out because the crowd had moved on. So, we get our drinks and we're having a great time. We get to the FIRST stop and we loved it. Very cool, old hotel that has been in ruins for 25+years and is now renovated into a hotel/condo. So, we tour it and then everyone has to pee. So, we go to the Mexican restaurant that is next door and on the list of stops. While there, everyone is arguing about do we eat dinner there or move on or what? Meanwhile, Patron margaritas are flowing and everyone is drinking them up. My mom announces she is just going to go home. Then, we all get another SUPRISE round and it just got worse from there. We finally leave and half of us go out one door and the other half go out another door. I have to yell at them to tell them which way to go and I now become tour guide barbi. My dad is being obnoxious because he doesn't want to walk the 2 blocks to the next stop. So, I just forged ahead of everyone so I didn't have to listen to it all. We get to the next stop and we think all we can do is stay in the lobby. So, we're like,"Done. Moving On". Meanwhile, my sister decides she wants a drink...AGAIN. I remind her that we can get FREE drinks at the next buidling ACROSS THE STREET, but No. She wanted to pay for one. Anyway, we find out we can go upstairs to the 21st floor and we do. Not a whole lot was going on upstairs so we decide to move on. I kept looking at my watch saying we have 30 minutes, we have 20 minutes. Because the touring stopped at 10. So, then, we all hop on an elevator and there is no 1 button! So, we're freakin' crammed in an elevator and NOT MOVING. I start to panic and want off. Someone @sshole hits the 22nd button and we go UP. Then, we get off and we can't figure out how to get down to the first floor. Thank goodness a security guard shows up and tells us to walk down the stairs to catch another elevator that takes us down to 1. Our group AGAIN splits and it's just me and my dad sitting there with 3 other people trying to figure out how to get an elevator. Then, we finally make it down to first floor and guess who's at the bar again?!?!?!?!? yep, my sister. I'm like, we have 10 minutes to make it into this building that she had been talking about wanting to go to sooo bad; which by the way, we could get FREE drinks at. So, I walk outside thinking, she's gonna follow. NOPE! My other sister and her BF were up on the next block and waiting for us. So, I go up to where they are. Meanwhile, my sister, her husband and my dad come out of the other building and hop in pedicabs and proceed to ride past us saying bye, we'll see you at Baxters! I was like, Ummmmm, you all are our rides?!?!?! Needless to say I became enraged and was left standing on the corner in downtown with my sister and her BF. I was sooooooo p!**#%. It goes on and on from there. We waited and the trolley came but my sister who was already in her car said she would come by and pick us up. So, we passed on the trolley and waited for them. A homeless man comes up and begs for change. We wait. My sister calls back and says we're going to head home because her daughter was throwing a fit. So, we are now relying on my dad to get us. And, he doesn't have his cell phone. FINALLY he picked us up and we made it home. But, at the time, I was TOTALLY annoyed!!! Now, I can laugh at it and see some humor in it, but then, OMG.

So, thanks for letting me share. My sister just called and was trying to explain herself and I"m like, I'm over it. I was over it last night by like 11. It's done. It's over. Leave it. So, she kinda brought it all up again.

Steff-I totally understand your situation with your relationship. That's how I look at it too. It was absolutely the hardest thing I ever had to do and that was over 10 years ago for me. I was in the exact same situation where we were together for 4 years and we both knew it wasn't going anywhere so we ended it. It was awful. So awful, that it's one of the reasons that I haven't been in another relationship.

Sue-you asked what would be enough to quit working. Honestly, 2 million would be enough for me. And, what would I do with it? If it were only 2, I would just invest and keep living where I am. Probably travel a bit. But, pretty much stay here. If it were a windfall like what that attorney won...a couple million to a few animal charities around here; invest some, buy a mansion here and in Florida on the beach, buy a boat, buy a lake house and a boat for here and that'd be it. What about you?

Kalen.....thats a pretty cool story. I would have been over your sister too. I would have stayed at the Dane Cook place though and tried to meet him instead of hopping around all the buildings and getting stuck in elevators.


Steff....I didnt answer your lottery question. No matter how many millions I won I would probably still keep a job, even if it was only a couple days a week. I obviously would travel and go to any and ALL concerts that I want to go to and I would definitely pay back my parents for all they have done for me....other than that though, I dont think my life would change much. Oh...I forgot...I would also very much add a couple more inches to my truck's lift!!! lol

Mushy Boyfriends = Annoying.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! I hope everyone has been having a great weekend.

I got my hair cut yesterday....I like it for the most part, I think Im going to go back tomorrow morning and get a little more cut off. Its a "swing bob" (kinda like Hillary Scott of Lady A has her hair)....so the front part is longer than the back part, I want the front part to be a little shorter and then I think I will be very happy with it (will take a pic of it once I get that little change done and post it for yall to see). I also put highlights in it....MYSELF! lol I used highlights out of the box, but I did a pretty darn good job if I do say so myself! I have never failed myself....Everytime I mess with my own hair, I like it better than when I get it done professionally and its WAY cheaper! My hair is now way blonder than it was when I decided to start my "experiment"....but I still dont think it is blonde enough, maybe one more time with highlights from a box and it will be the end of the experiment. Then the people I see at Gary's Miami, OK show will have to tell me to either keep up the blonde or dye it back to brown. If yall like me as a blonde I might try to keep up with it....if its not great, then I dont want to mess with the upkeep and will just go back to brown.

I spent the rest of yesterday with my boyfriend and his daughter. His daughter loves me when Im being HER friend....but oh boy, she doesnt like when Im being "friends" with her daddy!! She got really mad every time we would hold hands or kiss. He said its bc she has gotten used to it always just being them together and now that she has to share his attention, she isnt too happy.


Well....Thats really all I have to say for now! Im gonna watch some Deadliest Catch re-runs and then get ready for work.

That's really funny that you got the "swinging bob" or whatever it's called. That's what I have been trying to get my hair stylist to do for me for about 6 months. I'm going on Saturday to get my hair done so we'll see if I come out with it. I'm cracking up at you and your "mushy" BF. I know what you mean though. Do you mind if I ask what happened to the little girl's mother? Is she still in her life at all? Sounds like Beau has sole custody. Is that how you spell his name? Or is just Bo?

Speaking of Twitter; Jennifer told me that Blake Shelton and Dierks both Tweet. So, I just checked it out and sure enough, it's really them doing it. About 2 months ago Dierks had his Town Hall Meeting and said he doesn't do it and doesn't know if he wants to do it. He even pointed at the girl who updated his twitter. But, he's doing it now! He likes to post pics too. He has a few of J.ake on there. Sooooo stinkin cute! Blake's are just hilarious. I swear, CMT needs to offer that guy his own reality show.

11 Days until the Dierks show. And, however many til Gary's show in Miami. I'm starting to worry about making it through the heat. I really wish I wasn't such a seat snob or that I didn't have to stand out in the heat all day. But, I've gotta do what I've gotta do I guess. I will be brining an umbrella, chair, fan/spray bottle, & plenty of water with me. I doubt I will be drinking only because it will be pointless becaue I'll be sweating it all out so what's the point? Either way, I'm looking foward to them both. But, man, it's gonna be HOT!

I'm getting ready to watch True Blood. It's like I wait all week for this show to be on. Last Sunday I watched the first episdoe THREE times! LOL!

Alicia-what do you think of DC? Looks like the Coast Guard will be carrying Capt. Phil out in a helicopter. I'm not sure what's going on with Sig's boat either. If anyone knows if they are going to rerun that After the Catch show that was on last week; please let me know. Wasn't Edgar on it? I'm ticked I missed it.

Kalen.....I want to watch the "After the Catch" too! I missed it. I cant wait to see the new ep. to see what happens to Sig and the Northwestern. If Phil gets lifted out then Im sure the whole crew would have to.....they were getting closed in by ice.

As for Bo....its just BO. Though his real name is Beaumont (yes, poor guy)....so one would think it would be Beau. He only gets his daughter every other weekend....her mom is still around and still being a big pain in the booty. She has 5 kids all together, with 3 different daddies, so she has plenty to keep her busy....yet she really tries hard to be difficult and keep Morgan away from Bo as much as she can. I cant wait till Morgan starts throwing my name around her mom though....then the real drama will start bc she doesnt like me very much at all. Granted...she has pretty good reason not to like me, but she definitely needs to get over it.

My hair....Not too happy with the "swing bob". I think I want to go more towards just a regular bob....I dont like the front being so much longer than the back. So Im going tomorrow morning to get the front shortened a little. Also...I need to add more blonde into the color bc right now its mostly on the "golden" side of blonde and I want it to be more BLONDE! It looks way better in person than in pics though...its kinda frustrating bc then its like "does it look good or not!".

For Father's day we drove to Glen Rose to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. It was alot of fun! I love animals so getting to feed the deer, giraffes and ostriches was cool. Hubby could only talk about how good a deer lease it would make.

Kalen, Alicia, I think we are all stuck in in oven for awhile. Definitely be prepared for your Miami concert. Lots of water and sunscreen! I don't have any outdoor concerts scheduled, just Keith Urban in July and Gary in September, unless something else pops up in between them.

DC should be a nail biter tomorrow night! Hope everyone will be okay.

As for the Miami, Ok show....I really dont think it will be any hotter there than it is here. It hit 101 degrees yesterday here and supposed to do it again today. I think it has hit over 100 about 7 times already this summer....and its not even the "hot months" yet! I cant wait to see what late July and August are going to feel like! I guess its a good thing I started working out again....maybe I will be able to wear my bikini top at the show without feeling too self conscious.

I got my hair fixed again today....the length is about to the middle of my neck and the blonde highlights didnt really do all that much to it. I might have to go back AGAIN before the Gary show and get even more and probably a lighter blonde put into it. I will try to post a pic of my hair when I get it ready for work.

The second time it was when he opened for Brad Paisley and I was center section about 7th row from the catwalk. So, I'd suggest it for sure.

Hey All...It has been Hotter than Hades around here ever since Friday...What really sucks is I work outside!...You ever had one of those days??? But, I'm off tomarrow...I've just got one fairly short class; then, I'm off for the rest of the day!!! My concert viewing has been next to nothing this "concert season"!!! I think I'm having withdrawl??? Jules.....weird! I got a comment awhile ago saying that your hair wasnt the same color anymore, or something like that. *shrugs* I thought it meant you dyed it.


Everyone...I posted a pic of my hair on Myspace and Facebook. It didnt come out too different like I thought it would....I do think its lighter in person than in the pic though....but I still want to go lighter.

I have a feeling today will be a great day, I have the day off and its nothing but sunny outside!! I wish I could spend the whole day by myself....but it seems there is small print in the "relationship" contract that says you have to spend a lot of time with your mushy boyfriend. I try to tell him that one day he will be very happy to have these days away from me and he says "No I wont. I want to spend every day with you.".....*gag*.

No...I dont like mushy at all! I think you can care for someone and make it very obvious that you care for them without going down the "mushy" road or having to spend every waking moment with each other. Honestly I think it is a bad thing to spend every moment together....you need your alone time.

Im going to add more blonde to my hair, Im just debating on whether to do it myself or go get it done again by the same girl.

Ok..I just got back from the gym....I forgot to bring a magazine to entertain myself and I found some old issues of CW...the one I picked up had an old article about Gary and in the article it talks about how he was now letting m&gs..but he expressed that he lets his fans in thru his music and in his eyes...I thought that so true...he really does show his appreciation via his eyes...oooohhh those eyes!!!!

GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE!!

I had a good time last night.....I went out drinking for the first time in a long time! I had 2 Long Island Ice Teas and was pretty gone! lol Then Bo came over and spent the night. I guess the alcohol loosened me up a little bc I actually cuddled for a little while! I did end up feeling sick and ended up moving to the couch bc I was getting hot and the living room is always the coolest place in the house......well, at 5:30am when he had to get up for work he found me on the couch asleep and I got woke up by him kissing me on the forehead as he was leaving. Ok....I know I hate mushy....but that one actually got to me! When someone is mushy when they dont think you are watching, you know it is a TRUE reaction with no "secret agenda"....which I think is the REAL reason I hate when guys are mushy....it always feels to me like they are doing it bc they want something else.

Anyone else going to go watch Transformers 2 today?!?!?! Im definitely going.

When I logged into the internet today it went to Yahoo as the main page....and supposedly North Korea wants to demolish the U.S. Fantastic news.

Mine is OK.. had a great work-out the gym... but I have been arguing with my fiance' lately about his girl.... see she said some things to him in the beginning of our relationship... liek 3 years ago, and it was very "not appropriate"... well since then she has married and had kids...yada yada... Well I am not comfortable with her... I don't want him to be her friend.. I am not normally "controlling" as he has lots of female friends...but i don't know what to do... She is nice... I just get the ibby jibby's by her... sigh

Wedding plans are coming along...it seems though just when you think you are getting close something goes wrong...and with only 5 weeks till "go-time" I have been pretty stressed!! I am definitly looking forward to the Gary concert for my bday weekend & praying daily for the m&g. Well there is my spill for the day! hope everyone has a great week.

one of the movie theatre's here had an early showing last night(at flipping MIDNIGHT!!!) i wanted to go see it but having to get up this mornin' would have been a nightmare. lol. the movie doesn't open here till tomorrow night, i hope to see it this weekend.

Courtney....I feel your pain!! My boyfriend has A LOT of friends that are girls and most of them he has "played Twister" with in the past and they still want him and text him.....so its really hard to get over that. You just have to trust your fiance to do the right thing and to ignore her advances.....and maybe you could give her just a tiny "warning talk" to keep it purely "friendly" or you will have to ram her head into a brick wall over and over again! But of course say that as nicely as you possibly can....wouldnt want to give her the wrong idea that you are in need of psychiatric help. lol The good thing about all the girls that like Bo.....they all pretty much know me and I have gotten a reputation of being a real "hot head" and for some reason I have been very good at being intimidating when I want to be my whole life.....as far back as I can remember....people just dont mess with me. So I think those girls who know Im with Bo now....I think they will know better than to go there.

Alicia-I'm right there with ya on the forehead kisses. I'm a sucker for those too. I actually used to call them "sweet kisses". I like the forehead and that temple kisses. It's just a gentler, sweeter kiss. Don't get too mushy though!!!! WHen I saw your tweet about the long island iced tea I thought, "what the heck is she doing? she NEVER drinks and she's drinking LONG ISLAND ICED TEA?!?!?!?!?!?!?" then, later, i got the "i'm druuuunk" tweet and I laughed and thought "of course you are" Glad you had fun though. I about died with the chicken sh!t bingo pic. NEVER heard of that before! I saw that North Korea threat too and it really scares me. But, I honestly feel that crazy leader Kim Jong Eel, or whatever his name is, is a certifiable nutcase. But, that doesn't mean he can't be a threat. At least it won't reach us here in the center of the US if anything were to happen. Still, very, very scary. Not going to see Transformers because I haven't seen the first one and don't want to see the second one until I see the first. My sister is going tonight though. She LOVES Transformers which is really weird since she usually hate science fiction movies like that.

I haven't watched DC from last night yet, but I did see that the After The Catch was on so I taped it too. I watched the RHONJ reunion show. WHAT DRAMA! And, I'm sorry, but you still CAN'T tell me that Caroline's family isn't connected to the mob somehow. The Real World Cancun starts tonight. Should be a good, mindless, junk TV. LOL! It's super freakin' hot here still!!!!! And, it will be all week and into the weekend. THANK GOD FOR AC!

Kalen....lol It seems you were not the only confused person with my drinking last night! Jen replied to my Tweet saying "Is that really YOUR drink??" And my cousin was texting my mom saying I was drunk and my mom wouldnt believe her at first and after a couple more texts even said "Which daughter are you with??" lol bc my older sisters are definitely the type to get drunk but I hardly ever drink. It was just so funny. That will last me a year or so until I decide to drink again.

I hadnt heard about the Chicken "Poop" bingo before either! lol The bartender kept talking about it and I just thought it was a name like Chicken Foot Dominos....and then my cousin said something about "the chicken being in the back." and I was like "HUH? There is an actual chicken?" and then she explained it to me. They have a big cage that has bingo squares as the floor with numbers....they sell the numbers to people....and which ever number the chicken poops on WINS!!

The temperature is at 104 right now but the news said that they wouldnt be surprised if it gets up to 105 or 106!!!

kalen, as much as i'd LOVE to do vegas, its just at the wrong time and NYE is too many people for me, not fond of HUGE pushy crowds(ie...i left the San Fran show during KC cuz people kept shoving me into the stage) i'm planning my trip to TX at the beginning of the month, i've gotta be here over the xmas/nye time as my boss and most others in my office travel instead.

oh work...its kinda been the pits, i'm doing stuff that i'm not getting paid for, i'm a range 10 and doing the work of a range 14...but i don't have any say in it. oh well. doing that and juggling housesitting, and my folks having to make an emergency trip south.

i'm lacking for trips this year, i can't wait for the end of july! lol.

I"m bitter ladies and I have to share why. My sister has a new BF. That's all OK. But, she is TOTALLY neglecting her 4 animals. She has asked me to check on her dog at least every night this week. I live next door so it's n ot that big a deal but it's the point of the fact that I think she should take care of her animals on her own and not neglect them while she goes to her BFs apartment. I mean, make time to go home and feed and water and let them out BEFORE you go out with your man and after work. How freakin' hard is it???? I went to get her dog this evening and she has 3 cats. NONE of their bowls had ANY water or food. And, granted, they are inside but it's been over 100 degrees here this week. I'm just ticked off about it. I think it's wrong.

Ok, i've had my rant. Getting ready for bed now.

I just got done watching the newest ep. of Deadliest Catch....it actually wasnt as eventful as the previews were making it out to be. The Coast Guard talking about the Cornelia Marie wasnt anything bad like it was trying to make you think. If yall had to pick your fav. Captain, Deck Boss, and Greenhorn.....who would yours be? My fav. Captain is Keith of the Wizard, Fav. Deck Boss is Edgar of the Northwestern, and fav. Greenhorn is _ of the Northwestern or Lynn of the Wizard.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far. My parents have been in Vegas for about a week now and Ive had the house to myself....and its been awesome for the most part. The only bad part is a couple nights now at about 3am by dog starts freaking out barking at "something" outside and has scared the poop out of me....like, grab a baseball bat and ready to swing scared! lol

Well....I thinks thats it for me for now....got to go for a run/walk and then its work time.

I have...all of Lance's woman variety of friends have done the tango with him...he is just a nice guy in general so they use him as his counsler....ya it irritates me... but whatever.... But this girl she was not the past...she was during our relationship...I tried the whole friend thing...not so much... I too am known for being a snob or &*$%H i really don't know why... I mean i am pretty blunt but I "try" to do it nicely...we talked last night and he is suppose to have a convo with her about the situation and letting go of the friendship being that I am his wife2b and my feeling matter more than hers =] I also won the "spat" over inviting her to the wedding!! =]

I can't wait to meet you! we have so much in common it seems...and we are the same age... be warned I am not much of a drinker...so if I have a "few" i may be a goofball...but what the heck it is for the bday!
