First of all thanks to all of y ou who had prayed for my son....he is doing much better now although it has been a truggle and he still has his days he is defintely doing much better! As a matter of fact his teacher sent a note home saying he had a FABULOUS day!

Now for the needing prayers part....I am going through some tough stuff right now, and it has me somewhat fearful for whats to come. I had been feeling VERY sluggish to the point that i felt drugged up i couldnt stay awake, unless i was taking caffeine pills. I got to the point where i was taking 12 or m ore a day and i was STILL getting sleepy during the day. I will just say the caffeine pills go the best of me and i had to go see my dr and get off of them asap! My Dr first checked my sugar levels which got up to 300....so now i am dealing with being a diabetic and on top of that they are pretty positive that i have sleep apnea as well. I go for a sleep apnea teast April 10th. Which i am positive that i am goin to come out with the diagnosis of it as i have ALL of the symptoms and people who have slept in the same room as me on Gary trips and what not would swear to it as well. I know all this can be controlled with the Drs help but i am still a lil scared so if yall could say some prayers for me and continued prayeers for my son i would appreciate it!

Good luck & try not to worry, It will only stress you out more. I have heard of people with the sleep apnea, my Husband included and his got under control by changing his diet.

Praying for both of you Amy! I know feeling drained can get you down pretty quick. I was having the same issues last year and they blamed it on my thyroid. I have been on so many different levels of medication it's almost gotten the best of me. I've learned to be patient and trust the drs. They haven't given up on finding the dose that works best for me yet- so I'm trying my best not to give up on them. Keep your chin up and try to keep smiling- things will get better. Hugs!

Thanks so much, with the prayers I will not worry so much, prayers do amazing things! I got my sugar level down to 160 today so thats a plus, i know its still not where it should be but at least its down for now

Don't worry about the sleep apnea. Be glad you are getting help for it! I have it myself and have to sleep with a CPAP machine. Trust me, you will feel so much better!! It will be the best thing you ever did for yourself!

Well i guess its update time.....I last took my sugar reading Tuesday and it was down to 143!!! I know it needs to be lower but going from 300 to 143 is progress....I have changed they way i eat and that has helped somewhat. I even think i may have lost a few pounds YAY for that! My Dr's appt isnt until the end of may so I am trying to get an affordable insurance before i go and get diagnosed with either problem, as i have heard the diagnosis and treatment for sleep apnea is VERY expensive! IF i can't get this insurance i am just gonna have to live with it untreated.

I do feel much better these days and am past the caffeine withdrawl now, apparently the caffeine pills were making things even worse and i hadnt even realized it! So thats all for now i will def keep you updated thanks so much for all the prayers and support!

I know how you are feeling. They just recently diagnosed my 10 year old son with pre diabetes. It is a tough and rough thing to go thru. But there is help out there. I got most of the support from my friends.

Amy, thanks for the update. I am so glad that you have your sugar down to 143. That's wonderful! My Mom and Dad have diabetes so I know it's a hard thing to do. I am glad you're feeling better and hope it continues. I also hope you're able to get the insurance so you will be able to get the treatment for sleep apnea. Hey all, boy my life just keeps getting better and better..NOT! I have been keeping my sugar below 150 and feeling better lately i thought things were looking up then Friday at ten minutes til 5 my boss calls me in and lays me off from my job!!!!! Apparently they are not doing so well and my job is expendable. Well they will see just how much i really do when i am gone! So now i am having to deal with this. with two children to support, and idk yet how much unemployment i will get...hopefully enough to get me by til i find a jobby job! Thanks for all the prayers and support i truly appreciate every bit of it!
