Hey everyone;
Could you please keep my cousin's baby in your thoughts and prayers. He was born at only 26 weeks along. He is doing good so far and kicks his legs when he hears his daddy's voice. But he will be the hospital in the incubator for at least another 10 weeks. Mom had complications which resulted in the baby's early arrival. Prayers please for mom and baby. (Baby is unnamed at this time). I will keep you informed. Thanks all !!!

Oh dear. I've done the premie thing. It's a very difficult, stressful time -- you feel completely helpless but would give your life to help that tiny little child. My prayers are with the family and I'll think positive, strong thoughts for the wee one.

THANK YOU Everyone. I will be printing everyone's response to this and giving it to my cousin. So far so good. Baby is still doing good. His name is Mark. He has a lot of tubes and wires attached to him and he only weighs 1-3/4 pounds and is 12 inches long. I will keep you posted further. Thanks again !!

Hey Everyone,

Continued thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for my cousin's little boy, Mark. Just an update, Mark did have to have surgery yesterday. They had to put some type of clamp by his heart to allow better blood flow, of which that clamp will stay there the rest of his life. He pulled through wtih flying colors. So far, so good. I will keep all posted further. Again, thank you.....

Hey everyone;

Two weeks since little Mark's surgery and he is doing well. They did the surgery right in his incubator, so as not to disconnect any of this lines. Little scarey now as he is on antibiotics for pneumonia, but they said he should do okay. He is now 3 pounds. My cousin got to hold him "skin to skin" as they said, for one hour under a blanket. They said it was wonderful. Again, Thanks to all. Until next update..............
