I took my Mom back to the doctor today to get the results from her CT Scan. The doctor said that she has a thin white layer of something (not sure what he called it) around her brain but we knew that for several years. It comes from your blood pressure being high for a long time or from mini strokes. We didn't know that part. He said the rest of the CT Scan was normal. No tumors or anything like that. So, he thinks she needs to go to a Neurologist to see what they find because her hands are still numb. Her arms are better now, not hurting any longer. I am trying to stay positive that her hands will get better and that she just hasn't recovered fully. So that's all I know for now. Thank you all for the prayers and please keep them coming. We both really appreciate it very much. Hugs!

Well Baby girl I am so sorry I haven't been on here in a few days to read this, but I am glad the test showed no tumors. I wish you knew what was going on and I hope and pray that she gets better soon. Hopefully it is that she has yet to totally recover, everyone is different and covers in the own way and time frame.

Babygirl, Sorry, I've been away at a conference for work in Atlanta the last few days. So glad to hear that the test showed nothing you didn't already know about. So sorry to hear the numbness is still there, hopefully that will go away soon. Wasn't she on blood thinning meds- sometimes when you go off of those for a while you can have numbness in the hands and feet until it gets back in your system. I continue to pray for your mom. Keep her smiling! Love both of you guys.

That's alright Rusty's girl, I know how work is. She was on something while she was in the hospital and about a month after. Now they just have her on an aspirin a day. I wonder if that would cause anything? I sure hope something helps. It's so hard not to be able to help her. Thanks for everything. Love you too friend!
