They're gonna make the packages smaller, that really sucks. I'll probable still buy them anyway though.

It wouldn't surprise me if the price has gone up, too! But you're right, who can pass up the thin mints or the scotties. Do they still have the scotties? They are like a shortbread cookie. Oh, well... I will buy, as I was a Girl Scout once.... a long long time ago.

I just bought some from my dads gf's daughter .. They are $3.50 now whereas I think I remember paying $3/pack last year to the little girls in front of the grocery store.

Smaller packages? That's ridiculous and upsetting lol looks like I'm going to have to call my dads gf and add to my order!

ya'll get them for $3.50...lucky. I just order some from 2 different families and they are $4 here. I'm a sucker for them thou, was a girl scout for 12 yrs i remember when they were $1.50-$2 a box, lol! anything to help out the kids.

I don't like them, but I always buy some to help the girls. Hubby loves them! I heard that the boxes were smaller this year on the news.

Ditto here, I get them to help the girls as well. Then I end up giving them away.

They say they made the packages smaller; so, they wouldn't have to raise the price! Personally, I think they've been overpriced for a while now...If they were sitting on a grocery shelf for that price; I'd "never" buy them...It's strictly to support the G.S. I probably will only buy them this year if I get approched in a store...I'm not actively looking for them!!!

I always buy some thin mints, freeze them and eat them in the summer to stay cool. Very nice and refreshing! But yes, expensive!

MINE UP HERE ARE AT $3.50 A BOX. I LOVE THE THE THIN MINTS AND THE DI SO DOS. I GET IN TROUBLE WITH THOSE. MY FATHER IN LAW JUST BOUGHT $105.00 DOLLARS IN COOKIES!!! HE DOES FREEZE THEM THOUGH BUT I ABOUT DIED WHEN I RANG UP THE TOTAL.....I DID GOOD ONLY $40.00 FOR ME!!!!!!!!

I STILL REMEMBER PAYING $2.00 FOR A BOX.....BOY TIMES ARE CHANGING

I may actually skip buying this year for the first itme in FOREVAH!! I looked in my outside freezer and there are still like 4 boxes in there from last year - they freeze great for those of you who have never tried it! Then you can have GS cookies year round! YUM!!

i bought from my neice the same 3 kind i bought when i was a girl scout all them yrs ago. I havent gotten them yet tho, but for $12 they better be yummy or i wont buy them next yr. Its not just girl scouts that have made smaller packages, almost everyone has, Little Debbie has n they went up in price, some chips are less for more, most boxed snacks like gummies n suck too. Its just the economy we cant blame the girl scouts they just sell em, they dont pack the boxes, atleast i never did, LOL
