Our buddy Shep is having a hard time these days. her Dad is having some serious medical issues and I just want everybody to remember them in their prayers, please.

WOW, I'm sitting here crying like a big baby and thanking the Lord for bringing me to Gary who brought me too you...I want to thank each of you for your kind words and most of all for your prayers.
My Dad went into the hospital because of a blockage in a vein in his leg. They weren't sure if they would be able to save the leg or if his heart could take the strain of the surgery. All went well with the surgery but unfortunatly, they have found cancer in his left lung. They will be running more tests in the days ahead to see if there is other cancer in his body.
Please continue to pray for me for I'm learning I'm not as strong as I always thought I was. As some of you know I lost my Mom in Dec 07 of lung cancer and I'm still trying to cope with that.
Thanks Joy for the calls and for letting the junkies know what was going on. And thanks to all of you for your prayers and kindness...

Shep's Dad came home from the hospital yesterday (Wed) but before he left, he took a fall and after they got him home discovered he had broken a couple of ribs--OW!
He is scheduled to have surgery on his lung next week--so keep them in your prayers, please.
