Today I have decided that next year Im going to a Sci-Fi convention! I got to thinking about how I love country music and I have met a lot of the artists I like....then I got to thinking about how much I LOOOOOVE tv and how I would just freak out if I got to meet some of my fav. actors from my TV shows. I tried to think real hard how it would be possible to meet some of them, short of flying to where they film and stalking them, so I did a google search of one of my shows.....The show that kept popping in my head was "Supernatural" so I googled for it and how to meet the stars (bc I want to meet Jensen Ackles and dry hump his leg) and a couple blogs and stories popped up about people meeting the stars, all of the stories took place at conventions. So then I started googling trying to find conventions that take place in Texas....and I found out that there are actual "agencies" that have rights to certain shows and they put the conventions on....I found one that does conventions in Dallas!!
Both of the main stars in Supernatural are Texas boys so obviously they come to Dallas (I just missed them this year...they were there in July!)....but then it got better, the agency also does HEROES, LOST, SMALLVILLE, and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER conventions!! lol Im in sci-fi tv heaven! So I signed up for email alerts when the schedule updates so I can know when they are coming back to Texas for another convention. I want to meet my fav. actors so bad! I hate to admit it....but I would probably be more exited about meeting them than my country guys!any of yall be willing to join me at a convention sometime?
