I've been subsitute teaching at our elem. school alot lately. Last week I was teaching a first grade class... what fun that was . I forgot to turn my phone off and it was in my pocket... of course... Watching Airplanes starting playing... loud... a couple kids starting laughing and about 4 of them were singing along...lol I thought.. how cool is that.... young Gary fans!!!
Just thought it was cute.. only you guys could appreciate it.

That's cute!! I have a 4 year old and he knows all the words to Watching Airplanes...............and quite a few of his other songs too! I've made him into a very big Gary Allan fan!!

My 4 year old niece knows every word to WA and I got her telling everyone that Gary is a Hottie. It is so much fun to listen and watch her!

At the Asheville concert a little boy(maybe eight) was seating behind me and I asked him who he was there to see...He said to me "Gary Allan, you know what my favorite song is?" and I replied " I bet it's Watching Airplanes"..He said "nope, it's Tough All Over"... Poor little fellow fell asleep before Gary came out..His Mom tried to keep him up but they had traveled a long way and he was worn out...He was so cute!!!

my oldest brother Justin and his wife Julie are having a baby(1st) and every time Gary comes on the baby kicks lol.

These stories are the best.

I have a nephew named Waylon that is four and he loves Gary. My brother plays the guitar and Waylon knows all the words to Watching Airplanes. He loves to Kereoke with my brother. The other day I stopped for a visit (and of course he knows how crazy I am about Gary ) and Waylon said he had a suprise for me. He gets up in front of everybody with his mic and started sarinading me with Watching Airplanes! and didn't miss a beat. The cutest thing at the end was he asked," How did ya'll like my moves?" PRICELESS I had to burn him all of my Gary CD's. Nothing beats priceless moments like that!

I am glad I am not the only one who has kids singing Gary. My daughter who is 6 is a little obsessed, knows a lot of his songs.. thanks to mom and dad, and my son who is 4 sings a long to Like its a bad thing... Daddy's favorite song.

Both kids were excited when we took them to see Gary for the first time over the summer, but man was my daughter devistated when she didn't see him to sign her guitar.. it was a long shot taking it, but there is always that possiblity. We had 2nd row tickets, she was in heaven for that...

my 5 yearold son knows the words to just about every Gary song..but mostly the ones I play over and over.He calls Gary my cowboy and tells my hubby that one day my cowboy is going to marry me.I think it's cute and I laugh than ask how can he if I'm married to daddy...my sons smiles and said i don't know.when I went to see Gary....my son would say you going to see your cowboy have fun...and call me to ask how my cowboy was.He now sings SSC and before it was Tough All Over...but he'll sing along to all of them.

My 3 year old boy started singing the Watching Airplanes chorus out of the blue one day...
and then he started singing the verses!!!
We had no idea that he was enjoying it so much, let alone singing the whole song!!
I love it... SO PROUD I WAS!!!

Now anytime I play it he proclaims... "Again, again!!"
We can never get away with playing it only once at a time!!

Kids are so cute! My son asked me the other day if my car only played Gary Allan! I said pretty much!

Every time that either a song comes on or a video come on, my youngest who is 3, always says to me "Look mom there is your man Gary Allan". It is the cutest thing. You just so got to love kids! What would we ever do with out them?!!?!

All these stories are great! My Son (9) is a Gary fan for sure! He wants all the CD's for himself, he doesnt want to borrow mine...which is fine with mom! LoL He also wants to go to a show but until i find one where i can get him upfront in a good seat and one that is not gonna make me travel a long long way he is just gonna have to wait a bit

My daughter on the other hand she WAS a Gary fan but now that she is 11 she is trying REAL hard to be the total opposite of me, with everything...so she is not a big Gary fan just for that reason, but i still catch her singing along in the car when i have Gary in haha!
