well, after Saturday night, I'm really digging Matt Warren. He sang "Learning How To Bend" at Traci's party, and it sounded great! He also sang "Puttin' Memories Away" Loved It! He has some great songs, now if he'll just hurry up and put out a cd...
Sugarland~ Stay (OMG! The video kills me!)
Allison Krauss~ Simple Love (She sang it at the CMA's, made me cry)
in general, Lee Brice has some great music!

I like Chris Cagles new one, Jason Aldean's, More than a memory, So what do you think about that Montgomery Gentry, Taylor Swifts Our song too. Also, was pleasantly surprised by the Eagles new one. CD is selling really well. Having grown up with them that was really fun to see. Good for them. Thanks for having this topic, it's always fun to see what kind of "other" music everyone likes.

Also, I have a Handel's Messiah CD I listen to during the Holiday season every year. I don't mean to sound weird but I've also been grooving on the Christmas Hymns we've been singing in church--I love Christmas hymns.

Is George's Ring Of Fire a remake of the Johnny Cash song?
If anyone is looking for a great new CD, try Trisha Yearwood's
Heaven, Heartache and the Power Of Love. I can't remember the last time I loved a new CD as much as this one. It doesn't matter who the artist is, I usually have a couple of tracks on any CD that I'm not crazy about... but there's not a bad one on this CD. It's hard to pick the CD's best tracks, but my three favorites (I think.. lol) are They Call It Falling For A Reason, Let The Wind Chase You and Sing You Back To Me.

Yes George's Ring of Fire is a remake of the Johnny Cash song. He does a fantastic job too!
Paul Brandt was AWESOME!! That was by far the best concert I've been to so far! I didn't bring my camera and I'm kicking myself for not bringing it! At the beginning of the show they played a message from Paul. He was talking about a water filtration that can be installed for the people who don't have drinking water for only $100. He said that out in the lobby was a booth to make a donation for this water filtration and if you made that $100 donation you can come backstage and meet him after the show. I came so close the doing that. I think if I had my camera I would have. Also, out of everyone that donates, they'll draw one name to fly to Africa with him (all expense paid by Paul) to visit these places where they're installing these systems. What a sweetheart he is! Anyway back to the show! He did a Garth Brooks impression that was hilarious! Some guy in the audience yelled out "I love you Garth!" to which Paul replied "Ok, now you're scaring me" In the middle of the set it was just him and his guitar. He played a medley of a bunch of his songs which was great. And of course when he sang in that really deep voice he does the girls went crazy! Also, with us being in Alberta and him being an Alberta boy, when he sang Alberta Bound that place got sooooo loud! By the end of the show he had the whole place of their feet clapping, cheering and singing along! Words can't describe it! If you ever get the chance to see him it's well worth it! I'm definately going next time he comes!

Thanks Cindy for the review... sounds like a great show. Tell him to come back to the USA sometime and I'll go to a show... lol.... but even though I'm not from Alberta, I love Alberta Bound... a great song

I've loved Paul since his very first single... My Heart Has a History... over the years, he's grown and improved as a singer and songwriter, but he's stayed true to his roots, and that's one of the things I love about him. And I love that he did the Garth impression. How funny....
