Hey everyone, I'm leaving October 3 to go to Southern California for vacation and I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for must see things. I'll be in LA, Palm Springs and San Diego. Other than the obvious, Universal Studios, Disneyland, San Diego Zoo and Seaworld, is there anything else that we should see or do. Any help would be muchly appreciated! Thanks!

Plant of Hollywood, it might have changed, but that was pretty cool years ago when I was down there, Rodeo Drive and that whole stretch. Someone else will probably have some better ideas. San Diego, I have heard the Gas Lamp District is nice, has a lot of restaurants and shops. Enjoy your trip!

Catalina Island, Knott's Berry Farm, & Magic Mountain (not sure if it's still open but I LOVED it better than Disneyland.

Thanks! Will have to check these places out! I looked on the internet about the Gas Lamp district in San Diego, that looks pretty cool. Gonna have to try to find the time to get there. Thanks again for the suggestions!

Southern California is a good choice. We went to Northern California in November, and I froze my rear off.I have never seen so many winding narrow roads in my life. Hwy 1 great scenery, but wild curves, not use to that in North Central Texas.

cool.gif #1 Getty Museum, Rodeo Dr, any of the beaches prefer Huntington or Newport, Hollywood for people watching.
Typing this makes me miss home,
Have fun.
