Hey everybody! Just wanted to ask for some good thoughts for KY--IKE came to visit Sun and left just about everybody in Louisville in the dark, including me. Our power went off Sun at 1 pm. We have power lines down and poles snapped in my neighborhood and since there are only 20 houses there the power company is saying that it might be 2 weeks before we get our lights back on. We're trying to make the most of it, but it's wearing thin already! The schools are closed (maybe for the week) so the kids are BORED!! We came out here to my sisters' house to take showers today--drove an hour for hot water and hopefully to buy some batteries--and charge my IPOD most importadly!!!!
I'm having some serious Gary withdrawals!!! He was awesome in INDY last Sat--too short, but I enjoyed every second. I'll check back in next time I'm someplace that has a computer. Miss you guys!! Take care.

Another reason to come to Texas right now...that sounds so weird since we had the brunt of Ike, but I have power!! Gary will be here in 2 weeks!!...and then we will have ELECTRICITY TOO!!

I AM BACK!!!!!!!! After 8 1/2 days, my power FINALLY came back on an hour ago! I am doing the Happy Dance for sure!!! So glad to be back on board w/ everybody. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes--I really appreciate every last one of them. So, what did I miss?

So glad you're back jszoo! We sure did miss you friend. I know you were having withdrawals. That's a long time to go without power. It's happened here before so I know how you feel.
