NOW THAT THE STORM IS PRETTY MUCH OVER, I AM STILL PRAYING FOR EVERYONE ON THE COAST. I KNOW SOME MAY BE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY FOR A WHILE SO WE WON'T BE HEARING FROM SOME, BUT OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL!

Continuing prayers for everyone on the coast of Texas.

well .. it's pretty bad out here in texas .. no electricity for MILES upon miles .. houston, galveston, beaumont, winnie, high island, orange, bridge city, orangefield (too many cities to name).. no electricity and all under water! alot of damage -- not sure if ya'll have been watching the news .. i'm just giving a brief update! my brothers house has damage .. my aunts house is damaged .. dad's house came out fine .. moms apartment complex is a little roughed up, and some other relatives have minor damage! they are all very lucky to not have been flooded out!

louisiana also got some -- i live in lake charles right now for school and when we arrived last night there was ALLLOOTT of water .. but it's pretty much draining fast! my apartment ALMOST had water come in .. but it didnt

i'm praying for everyone that was affected .. they're saying power may not be restored in some places for longer than 3 weeks .. (that included my dad and some relatives) ..

it's HORRIBLE .. living nightmare

It was almost as bad as we thought it would be. At least all of my friends and family is alive and well. We will be without water, sewer and power for several weeks. Lots of trees in houses and water up to roofs, but we will put our communities back together!
