I am posting this so fans could know that signing up for the Christmas card exchange 2008 and for the Birthday card exchange 2009. The Birthday calendar will start in January 2009. And also there is a Gary's Birthday and a Gary's Christmas card , that is sent around for fans to sign and sent on to another fan and so on , then the fan that is heading to a show near that time, takes it and try to get it to Gary. The Christmas card and Birthday card exchange is about you sending a Gary picture with the Christmas or Birthday card, or something in reference to Gary by mail. Some people sent calendars, magnets, bookmarks, etc. use your imagination. No email please. It is fun receiving them thru the mail. Make sure you sign up for the right one. There are deadlines. You will have to go there and see. I am posting this here, because some don't go to the fan club section daily. DO NOT sent info to this post. It has to be in the fanclub section. We feel if it is a paying fan, then they will follow through. Thanks

Im a fanclub member that pays & i think that the way u worded it is kinda rude. Not everyone wants to pay to join the fanclub but it doesnt mean theyd not commit to the exchange. Sorry but ive been on other lists people who are paying members of fanclubs didnt follow threw last yr. I sent out over 300 cards with 5 diffrent lists, & i only got about 250. So just cuz someone is a fanclub member doesnt mean theyre more reliable. sounds like its a click xmas card exchange.

If anyone NOT in the PAYING fanclub would like a xmas card from me, please pm me cuz ill exchange with u since im not doing the exhange otherwise this yr.

Weren't you the one that started the Christmas Card Exchange last year? How then can you imply it's a "click" unless you want to call all of us Junkies a "click" then so be it.

I can't imagine having enough time on my hands to send out 300 Christmas Cards (not to mention the money in postage) but I've got to say "My hats off to you" it's just too bad you didn't feel like you could commit so early in the year this time around.

Well by postin in a board for everyone to see then saying thats is only for PAYING MEMBERS cuz they will follow threw, makes it like they are not welcome & u dont trust other fans who may post regularly but dont want to pay the $20 to join. To me that sounds Clicky, snotty, goody 2 shoes or whatever u want to call it, thats how i saw it & im sure others agree but wont say it. It would have been a nicer manner to say it in a diffrent way, maybe a simple FANCLUB MEMBERS CHECK THE FANCLUB SECTION FOR CHRISTMAS EXCHANGE n left it at that. Last yr there were a few NON members on the list , n i got cards from everyone but the 1 person who we let stay.

Yeah i commited last yr cuz i got all my photos for free from photo sites, My mom had boxes of cards we found n i bought the rest & I was working fulltime. The past yr ive had alot of medical problems n missed alot of work, i went to alot of keith shows, had car problems & was moving out n now i need a new car. So things like that were more important then trying to sign up for a card exchange in Aug, when i wasnt sure if i even was going to have a job since they cut my hrs from 36 to 14 hrs a wk. Thats why i chose to not join the Christmas list here, My bills are my priority & im sorry u dont seem to understand that. Doesnt mean im no less of a gary fan because i am not doing it. ANd im glad ur going to do the cards for Gary for xmas as i did last yr.
