Its not Lupus !!!!! We have been waiting for definite answers all this time and finally got them. she went to this rheumatologist back in July, and he wanted to see her in a month after she had a full Lupus panel done. That was done about 10 days ago, they are on their way home from the doctors, and i just got my best phone call in a long time.
According to the doctor, she does not have Lupus or Rheumatoid arthritis. Thats the good news, he said that a large increase in calcium can cause the positive test she received, and can cause the blood in the urine that she had.
The only news on the downside is that he has no clue what is causing her joint pain. He wants x-rays done of her entire backside(most of her pain is in the back of her knees), and for her to go see a Pediatric Orthropedic doctor.
Again thank you all for your Prayers, I truly believe that they helped, because the outcome is good.

I don't know if this will help but I have a friend at work whose husband had high calcium and joint pain in the knees mostly. He had to have his parathyroid glands removed and now I believe he's alot better. It was a day surgery thing. Hoping this will help and sending prayers to you!!

great news. still keeping her in my thoughts.

not sure if i told you a while ago but my daughter, Hailey had the same joint pain. mostly in her right knee. then moved to her arms. she got tested for the Rheumatoid arthritis also and it turned out to by lyme. the doctor said 70% of people dont even know they have been bit by a tick. and the longer you go without being treated for it the more it attacks your joints. she didnt have a red bulls eye mark that is the main reaction so we never got her treated right away.

just thought i would pass that info on in case it has been over looked. i hope she feels better soon. big hugs!
