Hey
I know there are some BS fans on here and wanted to tell ya'll about his concert at our county fair last night.
Yesterday morning, I was at the fair and the prisoners were setting up the seats for the show. The tour busses were parked right there by the stage and I could have walked right up to them if I wanted.( I could never do that, even if it was Gary). We rode the train around the fairgrounds and it passed right by the tent where he was sitting and eating. Several of the band and whoever else was with him (but not him that I saw) were walking around the fair, which really surprised me. They seemed very interested in the bunnies. Spent a good long time in that shed. Very weird.
My friend had her 5th wheel parked inside the fair right by the grandstand, so went went back last night to listen. Sorry, couldn't pay $43 to see him. That was just too much. But we could see him just fine where we were.
He was really good. I was surprised. Miranda Lambert was great. They did their sets together. She played for about 20 minutes then he came out. Then she came out and they played a few songs together. Then she sang and I guess he came back out, but I left before that.
I was suprised how mellow he was compared to her. And all the lovey dovey stuff between the two of them was just too much to handle for me. But both were really talkative and interacted alot with the crowd. I thought it was a great concert. There weren't that many people there until about half way through when they started selling the tickets for $10. Then it filled up.

I've seen Blake when he opened for Gary before but would love to see Miranda. Thanks for sharing. wink.gif

Thanks for sharing - I like them also - big fan of "Gunpowder and Lead" - great song to belt out when driving.

I did get pictures earlier in the day of the busses and set up but last night I just didn't. wink.gif I was holding my camera the whole time. Too busy dancing I guess. And talking. I'll try to find someone that took them and get copies.

Miranda Lambert was really rocking. I really enjoyed her.

I've seen Miranda Lambert. She opened for Toby Keith last year and she rocked!! She was great - she kept a high energy the entire time. I like her! I like the angry woman that comes out in her -- sometimes you just need to be a "beep!!" Love it!!

We saw him at the Strawberry Festival back in March. Excellent show. I'd pay to see him again. Miranda was there, too, but on a different night. I'm a big fan of them both smile.gif

Can't wait to see who they get there next year!

I have also seen Miranda in concert opening for Toby, and she ROCKED! I have been waiting on her to come back to my area, but I haven't seen anything yet, but when she does, I am there.

I appreciate the talents of both artists!

Blake's career moves/choices have been interesting to watch and Miranda keeps her head up and moving ahead despite being somewhat ignored by radio and media in lieu of those other "blondes."

Her efforts were recognized by the industry recently and that was great to see.
