Did anybody watch NCIS last night??? What a tear jerker!!! NCIS is the only show that I am absolutely devoted to. I was clung to my chair, and couldn't move. Probably the best episode so far this season. What did you all think?

I missed it with running around for the kids and forgot to tape it! what happened?

Well, this was an amazing episode. It started out with Tony being heroic. Gibbs and "a girl" were trapped in a car under water. Tony breaks the glass, brings the girl to the surface...places her on the platform...administers CPR. He isn't getting anywhere, so he jumps in for Gibbs, and see's that he is lifeless...pulls him to the surface..does CPR. Then the show goes back 24 hours. An old friend (Maddy) of Kelly, (Gibbs's daughter), shows up to NCIS, asks Gibbs to help her because a marine that she dated twice, just got back from Iraq, was stalking her. Gibbs goes to Maddy's house, see's the "boyfriend" tells him to stay away. She then calls Gibbs a little while later...and says...HE'S BACK. She then gets kidnapped. Eventually, it turned out that the "boyfriend" was just waiting for the mail to come so he could pick up money. He was murdered before he got his mail at Maddy's residence.

Meanwhile, Maddy has talked to Gibbs..about how she would like to see who Kelly would be today. Gibbs says...just like you (because they were best friends). During the show, Gibbs flashes back to when Kelly was alive. Maddy tells Gibbs that they buried a time capsule in his back yard. He later digs it up.

Then it goes back to Gibbs finding Maddy & the kidnappers. All they wanted was money, from what that Marine (the boyfriend) had stolen. Gibbs hands them the bag of money. The kidnappers say, there is another bag. Gibbs tells them its in his car which is parked downtown. The kidnappers don't like that answer. Gibbs & Maddy beat them up, and get away...they climb into this car....go in reverse...and that's when Gibbs drives off the back of the pier...and the car becomes submerged underwater.

In the end, Gibbs and Maddy live, with Tony giving CPR. Then it takes place with Gibbs taken out a picture from his pocket that Maddy had given him of her and his daughter. He goes to open the time capsule that he digs up...and the show ended.

Thanks for the re-cap...I'm so bummed I missed it! Gibbs is such a hard guy to figure out and for Tony to "save" him is a good twist!
