I love the new single...It's just such a "happy" song; and, there's just not enough "happy" in the World lately!!! But, I will admit that it gets stuck in your head for the rest of the day!!!

love sugarland, got the pleasure of meeting them a few years ago,it was when it was three of them and they are soooooooo nice and really good people.i met them when i went to see gary in harrogate,tn.sugarland and dierks bentley open for gary.funny cause a year later went to indy and gary open for dierks.and sugarland is doing great.gary must be a lucky charm.i like dierks and have met him quite a few times he to is very nice i have to say he always remembers my name and always talks like were just old friends.i had a meet and greet with dierks that night but didn't go cause that would have meant that i would miss part or all of gary and i wasn't about to miss one second of gary.well kinda got off the subject there.

I wasn't much of a fan of Sugarland (despite being from Atlanta) until Kenny Chesney brought them on the stage to perform "Stay". That woman really has a voice. Not a big fan of their new single, not because its too giddy, I like that, but because it gets rather annoying. I can only manage listening through the first chorus... too many do-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o's

what's the golden ticket about?
I got a copy of it yesterday...a friend burned me a copy form iTunes. It was pretty good. Not a fan of the 2nd song, I think, where she is talking a lot. Yeah, not liking that one. It seems like there are a lot of slow songs this time around. I can't help but imagine she's singing to Clayton on a few of them. I loved #8 (something like "fall into me")? The last one was good too and there's a live one on there that I like. Her voice can be overpowering at times but she's good. Also, (and, Alicia has heard me say this before) WHY ARE THEY A DUET? Christian is nothing but a glorified backup singer/guitar player. Nothing against the guy. He has a good voice, I think...haven't really heard it much. LOL! It's just wierd they still tour as a group when she is CLEARLY the star and the only singer.

I think to solve that problem they should just LET HIM SING MORE!! lol
You dont like #2? Thats one of my favs. I think you might be talking about "Love"....I dont like it much.
You say you can imagine her singing some of them to Clayton.....did you see the one song that the wrote together?
Golden ticket means you win a trip for 2 all expense paid trip to Nashville to the CMA awards, lots of Sugarland Merch, M&G w Sugarland, private concert from Sugarland.....and I think thats it.

I don't have a copy of the liner notes to see who wrote what. It's not "Love" that I'm talking about because that is the one where Christian sings. I'm not a fan of that one. That's cool about the golden ticket thing. Too bad you didn't win it cause you could've taken me!

Kalen, the song she wrote with Clayton is called "What I'd Give". I like the lyrics, but Im not a fan of the actual song.
My new favs. are "It Happens"(#2)...."Keep You" (#8)...."Take Me As I Am"(#9)....and "Wishing"(#15). "Wishing" is MY song....it fits the way I feel 100%.
