Hey everyone! This maybe a silly question but I am in need of some serious opinions & everyone on here is always so helpful so I am turning to you all ....

I am turning 29 in a couple days and have all intentions of getting a tattoo ( I already have a couple) . The ones I have all represent something or a time or something to that affect. I am considering getting footprint across the top of my foot ending at my pinkie toe? To represent the paths in my life that I have not taken. Some are missed opportunities and some were dodging bullets smile.gif Is this a bad idea?

(trying to inject some levity here)....

I'd say if you are having a hard time paying your light bill, or you don't know where your next meal is coming from......it's a bad idea. I'm not into PAIN so tats aren't for me.....Plus I change my mind a lot.....the older I get the more I find...I don't know everything.....SO...........just be sure it's what you want to do....a design you won't be sick of or regret. .......and one you think will look good if it's old and wrinkly. laugh.gif

Also, make it something different so you stand out in the nursing home down the road!! laugh.gif

My neice got a tat on her foot of a bleeding heart flower and she said it hurt like crazy, there is not a whole lot of fat there. But if it's what you want go for it! I got one and did not tell anyone till I was done, I wanted to do it for myself and noone else. My leg has never been the same since! tongue.gif

Thanks for the great advice. I have one on the top of my other foot. I work in a professional field and those are easy to cover up smile.gif Wish me luck!

I am in the same situation so I had to get something that I could cover also. Good Luck, life is to short, listen to your inner self!

I have three; and, two started out with an emotional attachment...One gained one; though, I always wanted the design...One of them is actually on the top of my foot...The foot, and the arm didn't really hurt at all...The one on my ankle hurt like a ______!!! tongue.gif But, I agree make sure it's something ya want to live with!!! I still love all of mine!!! wink.gif
