Did anyone watch Nashville star last night. Who was your favorite. I think Ashlee was the best last night. She has a great voice. Then Coffey, is was good. And that Justin will make it on his looks. LOL. ( Another Sanjia) , but is alot better vocal. That Laura and Sophie, just 16 & 18, did a great job. I liked the military guy Tommy. And the closer was Melissa. What a voice. Tough decisions.

Oh no, I forgot about that coming on last night. I'll have to catch it next week. Thanks for the reminder.

Melissa has an amazing voice and what a personality... WOW... I think she will go far in this competition.

I was not impressed. Does anyone else think this show is turning into a hokey country version of American Idol? What's with all the kids? They really should have a higher age limit.

I love Big & Rich but John is just getting too big for his britches. He seems to think his opinion is the only one that matters. I think Jewel is gonna rip his head off at some point.

Anyway, back to the performers...I thought there were only three that were any good on this first episode but I don't remember their
names. Hopefully they were all just nervous, as anyone would be, and will improve as time goes on.

I'm watching it; however, first show and I wasn't really impressed too much. Maybe the next show will be better.

I have to tell you, I've been watching "Can you Duet" on CMT. They have some GREAT performers. The finale is this coming Friday, catch it if you can. You won't be disappointed...

Finally watched it. I think Melissa is the best.

I think Melissa is the best so far........it's early in the season but she is certainly the most consistent in my opinion.

I am not impressed with this season AT ALL!!!

I watched it for the first time tonight and i was not impressed AT ALL be ANY of the performers!

I'm not impressed with anyone this year either. No one has that "WOW" factor at all! Very boring. And that group that was voted off ... how on earth did they get on in the first place????

Lisa...you are so right!! I am only watching to see the cat fights between Jewel and John!! I loved it when she called him a "one-octave singer"!!

But so far, I haven't been too impressed...I like Ashlee the best. She did great with Ring of Fire...

This is also where we found Chris Young. I liked Ashee too. At first I thought Oh NO. But she did a great job. I would think John Rich would be in a little trouble with some of the things he was saying. I love Jewel.!!!!!!!!!!!

And they had the nerve to do an Alabama song. I have to agree with John saying that Randy probably changed the channel...that was good.

I have never missed an episode in all of the seasons, and this years talent is definitely the weakest. Although none of the previous seasons winners ever made it big, they were much better than this group. If I have to pick a favorite it would be Melissa, and I also like the harmonies in the sister group Pearl Heart, hopefully they can get it together.

I cracked up over that one.
