If anyone in the cleveland area is a Billy fan, go to the site & get ur tickets. They may still have them in the am cuz they just put that they went onsale at 1202 Sunday so some people didnt know when they went onsale.

I saw Eric Church open for Gary last August in Jackson, MI. I have to tell you, I was real impressed. He is really energetic. Have a great time. I saw Billy last June. His show was good, but his treatment of fans is disappointing.

YEah ERic is good live, he opened for Dierks when i saw him last yr in buffalo.

Billy , yeah he definatley could use some people person skills. He doesnt really take pics or talk to fans hardly any. I got an autograph there a line where he signed but didnt take pics for anyone. When i told him it was my bday he basically ignored me & moved onto the next person. Im sure it had to do with his issue he went to rehab for so HOPEFULLY hes changed his additude twords fans.

I met billy several times and he was always super sweet to me always but a few years ago ryan the one who was his "tour manager/ brother" was always the one who wasn't so nice to so many of us. i think your right about with what billy had going on probally had something to do with the way he was being but who knows i know there are several artist out there now that are not so great to their fans. but any way i hope you have a great time at the show when you see billy.

I really hate you had that experience with him...we met him right before he went into "therapy" at the mall in Nashville and he was so very nice and accomodating. He couldn't have been nicer. He took pics with all of us and signed autographs and believe me he had a ton of packages he was holding and he put those down to do all of this. I apologized for taking up his time and he thanked US and said it would bother him if we didn't stop him and talk. Then we saw him again about a month ago at a club and while he didn't take pics and such, he did interact with fans onstage and he signed my cd cover while he was up there and tried to let people take pics while he was performing. I don't know if he signed very much to be honest because the place was packed and after he signed my cover, I got out of the mob of people. I am sure everyone has their off days and I hope you just happened to catch him in one of those off times.

I'm really glad he's touring again; even if it is limited...I finally got to see him at the Indy State Fair...Some of us hung out by the bus...He went into the bus for a little while; but, then came out and signed autographs...This was even though they had announced that he "wasn't" going to be able to sign autographs due to illness! I just wish his new CD would come out!!! wink.gif

Me too, can't wait for the new cd to come out! I don't know where some of the "people" surrounding the artist get off making statements like they aren't signing stuff or they aren't taking pictures and then you see the artist doing just what you were told "the artist" weren't going to do. I think the people that work for the artists tend to forget just that...they work FOR the artists and the artists livelyhoods depend on their fans. So without the fans, the artists sell no records and make no money and therefore their "people" won't be in demand very much. The "manager" or whatever his title was for Jason Aldean did the same thing when I saw him recently. He kept saying that we could take pics as Jason was signing stuff for other people but that Jason wasn't "posing" for pics with individuals, then people asked him for pics and he said "sure" and he posed right up next to them. I think these little people that work for the artists need to let the artists decide what it is THEY want to do and back off alittle so that everyone is happy (artist, fans, etc...)

Actually, pretty much any artist that does the "free stage" sticks around; and, does autographs...He was going to do them; but, then they announced he wouldn't be; because of illness...But, he saw us standing out there; and, came out for a few anyway!!! I know what ya mean about the picture thing...It happened with J ake Owens_...They said, "One autograph & no pictures except in passing"...Then, he started leaning in for pictures...That's the way I got mine... rolleyes.gif
