A couple of months ago I asked for prayers for the son of my best friend--he was going into drug rehab. Well, things have gone from bad to worse. Today he was arrested for breaking and entering, drug possession and a list of other charges. he's in a lot of trouble. he is on probation for drug possession already, so I'm sure the courts will not go easy on him--not that they should, but it's just so hard to see this bright boy (he's 21) going to jail. he could get up to 10 years in jail--or more.
I am heartsick over the whole thing. Please pray for he and his family as they go through this most difficult journey. Thanks

Sorry to hear about this .. I have a cousin that went through this .. he was shot, stabbed, overdose almost died, flew from a car because he was high and opened the door at an intersection, arrested for cocaine possession -- it's very tough to see a smart person go through this - my cousin is 22 and could have graduated first in his class .. prayer is pretty much the only thing that helps through these tough times -- they have to want to help themselves .. he pretty much learned to lay low -- and he hasn't gotten into trouble for about a year which is good because he's on probation -- but i will pray for him .. and the family .. because i know how difficult this can be

I'm so sorry! I really hope he gets the help he needs to turn his life around.
This is so tragic at such a young age.

Sorry to hear about your friends son. That is really too bad. All you can hope for at this point is that he's at a place where he wants to make a change and make a better life for himself. Maybe this will be his rock bottom. Prayers coming from MN.

So sorry to hear about this jszoo. Your friend and her son will be in my prayers. I work at a state hospital with teenagers who have been in trouble with the law due to drug related issues, so I know first hand how this can effect a person's life. Not to mention having a nephew who has been to a safe-p facility too. Hope all turns out okey for your friend and her family. Send her hugs for us all and assure her that they are in our prayers.
