Hey Everyone
I have had several emails about my recovery and I really appreciate them. I have been having a difficult time and ya'lls encouragement has meant alot. I am not a homebody and staying home alone all day on the couch has been very depressing. #1GaIndianaFan has been in touch almost daily to keep me from getting too far gone. And I really appreciate that.
But, I am doing ok. I had an episode of really bad vertigo this morning and I am pretty depressed about that. But I just have to be patient. Which I have never been. biggrin.gif
The swelling in my face is mostly gone but I have still got some really pretty bruising on my face around my ear and on my head (but it's under my hair so no one can see it). My children are having a wonderful time telling everyone that asks that the doctor cut off my ear, drilled a hole in my head and then he sewed it back on.
My hearing has only come back slightly in my right ear. But that is coming in handy. The kids start screaming I turn over on my left ear and I can't hear a thing.
But all in all the doctor was happy with his work and said he got all the bone he needed to and that I just need to be patient. The swelling will go away, my hearing will return and hopefully the dizzy spells and migraines will be a thing of the past.
Thanks so much for everything. Ya'll have been amazing.

Thanks so much for the update, and I am glad that you are on the road to recovery....things will get better and it will take time, but we are all still sending out prayers for you.

Take care!

sending out special prayers to you to find patience (if it works, and you find some--sent it back to me!! Patience is not my strongest suit either!!LOL)
Glad you are feeling better--hope things continue to improve. Loved your comments about the kids--are you going to be their next "show and tell" presentation? laugh.gif

Funny you should say that jszoo. I just went up to the school to do my Junior Achievement stuff for this week and that is exactly what I turned out to be. They all wanted to see the scar and the bruises and the hole. But you can't see the hole and they were disappointed. Six year olds can be so funny. Then I went to my son's class and went through the same thing. The teachers were just as bad.

Glad you are feeling better. Hope and pray that your recovery is a quick one. I know what you mean about not be a home body. I am the same way it just depressed me when i was stuck home for awhile it is no fun. But you can always come on here a talk to one of us.

Great news that your 1 month ck up went well and that you were cleared to do your normal routine again. Hopefully you have been relieved of your pain and problems that went along with them. Hang in there it all sounds good!

Hope that B had a great day at school and everything is going well with him too. Take good care of the little man!

Thanks. Only 2 dizzy spells in a month is definately a blessing. I'm feeling good and I'm gonna start running again soon. Can't wait.
B did great a school today. He's calmer and not so stressed.
