OMG im so still excited from this past weekend. I was in baltimore seeing Keith & i had a ok seat i guess, but I NEVER planned to go backstage. Here someone was selling a spare BSE for Keith, & she wanted $150 but i never have that much with me. I mean heck i had my hotel & flt paid for by my friends who wanted to see me, so i didnt need money. LOL SO i knew they were letting people in in 5 mins so i told her id give her all i had which was $80 so she took it. I knew i was going backstage 2 nites later but i didnt care, to see keith upclose & personal is not somethign to just pass over. I was the last in the line of the group for the pic, & i didnt want to be on the end but i was a smart cookie. When Keith came over near me he looked & said "hi how are u" & he grabbed my hand to shake it & then hugged me. I then said. "I really want to be closer to u but cant since im on the end, can i come up front" SO he grabbed my hand & said SURE BABY & he was gonna let me stand infront of him but the girl next to him was not happy, so i got on my knees infront of him & was leaning my head on his thigh & my big fat butt was hitting his leg. I could feel him tapping his foot, & then my freakin cell phine starts ringing & vibrating & its HIS unreleased song thats playing. So he looks down & says, "whats all that noise." & i told him im popular now that im backstage with him. IM sure he got quite the view down my shirt too, as did the camera guy & everyone else. They had me move over some tho cuz i guess my head on his thigh wasnt appropriate, even tho he had no complaints, but then someone else slipped down there too. After the pic he helped me stand up too. During the private performance i was RIGHT infront of him on the floor with an amazing view. LOL And he was saying how small the room was & how hot it was so here im like "WHOOOOO YEAH BABY TAKE IT OFF" & he looks at me & says "someone started drinking early" & i said "no i dont drink" & hes like "I dont either so thats good" & he laughed. So i was all happy to have been back there.
Then Friday, i go to charleston & here we see 1/2 his band before the show at our hotel, & thats a great start. Nothing like being in the jacuzzi & have Keiths band walking threw the pool area lookin for something to do, which they opted to work out in the fit ctr. Atleast when they met us later they could tell we were the stalker type fans who sit in the lobby for hrs, we do regular things. I was excited for this show cuz i had 13th row catwalk & had a bse with my friend from here. We go backstage & since i know the routine we managed to be in the right spot. The only thing is this time Keith didnt go to individuals, he did a general group greating & was ready to jump in the pic without even talking to anyone. BUT me & my mouth, i stepped out & let him know my friend was celebrating her wedding & wanted to be next to him. SO he said "absolutely baby" & slipped right between her & i. Then he gave her congrats & then asked if we met before, & so i told him & he said i looked diffrent. I didnt tell him cuz i did my hair & makeup, LOL So he pulled me closer to him & i went to take my hand outta my pocket & take my glasses off & they snap the pic, WTF. So me & 2 others are lookin elsewhere since there was no notice. LOL They took antoher where i know i was lookin up but i guess this 1 was the best. During the private performance i asked for my special song "wont Let You Down" & he said he needed paino or keyboards to sing it & i told him to do it without, it, LOL He ended up doing something else. BUt thats all good. At the end he knew i had an enveleope cuz i had it in my hand the whole time & i was less then 1 foot from him. He could entend his foot & have kicked me off my chair i was that close. So he reaches out to take the envelope & slips me a guitar pic. I didnt let my friend know it, she asked me if i got it & she wanted 1, but there wasnt 1.
That show was amazing. i ended up 6th row catwalk cuz of the aisle between the seats which is sometimes there but sometimes not. KEith saw me & smiled a few times, I had green devil horns on too i wanted to catch the eye. I had a chubby soft stuffed monkey & put it on the stage & when he played infront of me i was hoping hed take it but he didnt. So i took it back so noone else took it. When he was down the catwalk I reached up n held it up & he grabbed it & ran with it, & set it ontop the piano. I thought hed throw it on the drums like he does with toher things. Then he finished the song & went over to the piano & set the mokey to sit up, & played his songs with my monkey there. THe piano went down & the monkey stayed up, & came back up again for the other 2 songs. It was so cool, cuz even at the end of the show, some girl asked for it & keith wanted it so she couldnt have it. It was just a great 2 shows & im gonna be sad when the tour ends, atleast i still have lexington in 2 weeks. I hope Gary plays near me so i can go, or ill go nuts with noone to see. LOL
Right now im sick so atleast i got to enjoy my time at the shows, & hopefully will be better by firday cuz Sat i have def Leppard in detroit & im 2nd row, but the end so ill end up front row. Ill try to get some of my pics up in a few days, after i get some rest. ill post the link if someones interested in seeing my pics from the charleston show.
