Have you heard that the "New kids on the block" are making a come back. I heard it on the News and on Showbiz tonight. Wonder if they are going to be "New Men on the block" now? unsure.gif
Shroomie
I saw the interview they did on the today show. They are keeping the "kids" name. They have been in the studio since August preparing the new album and will be debuting on the Today show on May 16 (will have to check the date to make sure). And Yes they are going back out on tour.

Well just proves that there are some guys that just refuse to grow up and became men. LOL I also heard that I couldn't believe it.

Well I tell ya, I've always been a Nsync fan and I don't care how old I get, I love watching those guys dance. I have all of their CD'S and know all of their songs. Haven't listened to them in a while, but I do drag their concerts out every now and then and watch them dance. biggrin.gif

OMG!!! I totally a NKOTB fan and have been so excited about this since rumors started flying!

This is so awesome! A little bit of a new single has been playing on their website and it is really good. It sounds like they are trying to update their sound but still sounds like them.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!! tongue.gif
can't quit him
I too, was so in love with them back in the day. Donnie was my favorite, I just knew I was going to marry him one day tongue.gif tongue.gif I don't think my hearing has ever recovered from all the screaming girls at their concert! BTW, this was back in the day where you had to camp out overnight for good tickets and my Mom was so cool she went and stayed up with me all night outside Daytons so we could get tickets! If they come to my area I might go check it out. Anyone know if they are all returining? I heard about this a while ago, but heard it may not be all of them....didn't see the recent news.

Donnie was my favorite too. He was always the wild one. I too have done the camp out all night to get tickets. It was something I will never forget. I actually got to meet them once. We stayed in the same hotel with them. Donnie was a character. I also got to meet Mark for the first time when he was out on tour with his brother. I was lucky enough to meet Mark twice after that. He's a really nice guy with a big heart.
To answer your question yes all 5 guys are doing this together.

I think this is way cool! I loved New Kids when they were together! My sis (Jerri_in_tx) took her daughter to see them once at Texas Stadium. My son loved their music when he was small too! I hope they make a go of it.

OMG are you serious. I was a huge fan of theirs when I was a teenager. Jordan was my favorite. I still have all their memorabilia packed away somewhere. laugh.gif Might have to check them out. biggrin.gif

I was a NKOTB fan to when I was in middle school, and my Mom and I had to camp out for tickets too. (back in the good old days) A while ago my Mom was cleaning out her basement and found all my old posters and collections. That was a tidbit of info that I had kept from hubby. ohmy.gif
Now I guess he knows how dorky I was. My fav was Joey...I even had the barbie...or is it an action figure??? dry.gif Not sure if I will still be as devoted as I once was...Gary has taken over that spot!

At least you still have all your NKOTB stuff. I had all my stuff packed away in a closet at my parents house. After they divorced, my Dad cleaned out my old bedroom and threw EVERYTHING away. angry.gif sad.gif And I had a lot of stuff.
rightwhereineedtob
Are you serious? I probably still have cassette tapes of theirs somewhere.
footmom
OMG I am feeling so old. They were hot the summer after I got out of school. I can't remember if I was a fan or not. Isn't that sad. laugh.gif

That's cool that you got to meet them and Mark, I really like him as an actor. As far as Donnie goes I guess we like the wild ones, which would explain what were doing on this site to begin with! wink.gif

LMAO I do believe there is a pattern here.

I agree, Mark has come a long way since the Funky Bunch days. He is such a hottie. Donnie's career has blossomed nicely. He has been in a number of movies and TV shows. I think out of all the "kids" he has been in the public eye the most. His tallents go way beyond acting crazy on stage. But.. he does that quite well. I can't wait to see them acting all crazy the way they did back in the day.
Kerry
I cant wait to see if they can all still do the moves (dance) that they use to do!!!! LOL
gapeach79
tongue.gif It really brings back a lot fo memories for me.

I was a big fan in the 4th grade. It was NKOTB mania at my school! WE all had the posters, the magazines, and not to mention, the buttons that were the size of hamburgers!

I remember my 4th grade teacher going and seeing them. We were all so jealous. I also remember the night of the 4th grade play, while we were waiting to perform, we got to go to the library and watch a NKOTB concert on video! It was the best!

Jordan was my favorite. I even wrote a letter to him smile.gif
KDCBAMAFAN
Not only did I take my niece for her birthday to see them, but I worked at a preschool with the after school group, and drove the girls van. I was pretty much New Kidded out after a while, but I would love to take my niece to see them again now that she is 25, it would be kinda funny.
