My daughter found a knot in her neck which turned out to be a swollen lymphnode ...which could very well be nothing...it could mean infection in her body...but her dad had lyphoma cancer so i am really worried right now...i took her to the Dr today and they said to keep an eye on it and bring her back in 2 weeks and if it is not gone they will run tests then...i am so scared yall my kids are my life and i cannot imagine anything major going on with either of them! Just pray that this is minor pleae...thanks yall i REALLY appreciate it!

My prayers are with your family, my brother had the same kind of cancer and has now kept it at bay for 6 years now!!!!!!! I had my son checked because his didn't go away and it was actually muscle growing around the lymphnode - it's called kawasaki disease...
So, keep your hopes up and your mind open to a million possibilities and we will keep praying and praying....
My examples are not to compare but only to let you know that as a parent I understand that waiting time... The time I spent waiting for the biopsy to return was the longest time period in my life to date.
I pray you have a fantastic outcome.
My brother is still here with us today and my son is just fine and I hope you the same blessings!

UPDATE...I took her back to the Dr today bc instead of going away it got larger..they gave her some meds and said to keep an eye on it...this time if it doesnt go away i am not wasting my time with this Dr anymore i am goin to a specialist if nothing else to ease my mind...seems to me it should be getting smaller and going away not gettin larger! But i will give the meds a try and see what happens...thanks again for all the prayers and support!

My daughters swollen lymph node seems to be goin down..YAY!!! I am SO relieved!!! I will let you know if there is any other updates but for now i think things will be good from here thank you so much for all the prayers I was really worried and needed them for her!

Update on my daughter
So The lymphnode is still swollen after giving me hope that it was going down...so i took her to a specialist. He wasnt very happy with the way the other Dr's took it so lightly it seemed. With her fathers history n all. He gave her an adult strength anti biotic to see if that would take it down and is goin to see her back in 3 weeks....if that does not take it down then he will do further testing then...i feel much better kjnowing that he is taking care of her because he is doing more in one visit than the others did in 3! Thanks for all the prayers and if you could continue to keep her in them i would greatly appreciate it!
