I am so happy right now. Today was the last KU/GA ticket give away for the Little Rock show. I finally won. Now I can take my friend Rhea to the show.

I called her and said "guess who is going to see Gary Allan?" and she said who... I said "YOU!". She started yelling at the top of her voice. She couldn't stop laughing. I don't think anyone has ever been more excited about a Gary show than she is about this one. I can't wait to share the experience with her.

Congrats. What a blast you two will have. Please report back after the show.

I posted this on the board before we got the new one so let me tell it again for those of you who do not know.

I myself have been to 9 shows. I bought tickets to this show when they went on sale, but I wanted to win tickets for my best friend Rhea. She is a really great person who deserves to be happy.

Two years ago, just before Christmas, She and her husband lost their baby girl Ava to SIDS. The baby was just a few months old and as expected they took it very hard. This was all right before we became friends. One night she was having a really hard time and I played her Life Ain't Always Beautiful. She wasn't a Gary fan at that point. I don't even know if she had heard him before that. Either way, she fell in love with that song. It always made her cry but it became a source of comfort to her. She started listening to other Gary music and became a big fan. But because Gary hasn't been here in three years, she has not had a chance to see him live. They were not able to buy tickets when they went on sale so I was determined to win tickets so that they could go too. I am just glad she will have something happy to look forward to this December. It is a hard time of the year for her and she really needed and deserves this.

I'm so happy for all of you my friend... and especially glad Rhea has something positive coming up in the next few weeks...

She so needs this. I'm just glad I can give her something to look forward to. I know how hard it has been on her and this time of year really gets her down. I would go to the ends of the earth for Jarrett and Rhea... They are wonderful people. Lord knows they were there for me when my life was such a disaster. I'm just so glad I have all of my wonderful friends.... I won't go mentioning names because sure enough, I would leave someone out and feel really bad. So to all my friends.... I LOVE YOU!!!

Hey Jimms, Thank you my friend. Kens and the kids say hello. Rhea and Jarrett are on their way to Fayetteville for the Razorbacks game. I will tell them next time I talk to them. I talked to her this morning and she is still on cloud nine. I don't blame her... I'm excited too.

What is life without friends? Seems like it would pretty boaring to me. I am so happy to have made some of the best friends a person could ever hope to have. Both in my real life and my board life.... and sometimes the board even carries over into the real. You of all people should know that.
