A young man I know (son of a friend) might be in trouble and I'm asking for prayers for him. He has been out of drug rehab for 5 months and has been doing really well, until he went to spend some time with his Dad. While there, his Dad decided to give him back his keys to his truck. Dad is either an idiot or in total denial. Last night, the kid (he's 20) stole 500 dollars from his dad, took his truck and disappeared. Nobody has heard from him today. Please pray that he is ok, not using drugs again and will come home safely.

Thanks for all of your prayers and well wishes. he's back at home as of last night. He called home from a motel where he had been on a serious binge and they went and got him. They are currently looking for a rehab center they can send him to (and can afford)--he has been in 2 already and jail once so I really hope they find somebody that can really help him this time. he's a good kid, but he can't stay away from the drugs. Please keep praying for him--that he can find the strength to stay away from the drugs before they kill him or he lands in jail again. I really appreciate it.

Thought I would update you all. My friends son is in rehab and she got to see him over the weekend. This is the 3rd time he has been in rahab, but the first that he has truly commited to according to his mom. When he gets out, he wants to join the Army and get as far away from his past friends as he can--sounds like he is really ready to quit and is not going thru the moves. his mom is really thrilled with his progress so far. please say a prayer for him that he kicks his habit for good this time and finds purpose in his life. Thanks to everyone.
