I heard an interview with Garth Brooks on GAC awhile back and he said something I thought was really interesting. He said that he can see in the fans face the one song that brought them to the show. I thought that was really cool that he noticed that and that he really feeds off that energy.

So, what song is is that brings you to see Gary live? What song brings out the most energy in you?

Mine is "Drinkin' Dark Whiskey" right now. It has changed of course due to the sets changing. The other ones that I love to hear live are "It Would be You" and "As the Crow Flies". Those were great live, but the one that puts the gleam in my eye would be "Drinkin' Dark Whiskey" I think.

For me, the song that gets me "going" the most is either Drinking Dark Whiskey or Like It's a Bad Thing, but the most powerful song for me to hear Gary sing live is Life Ain't Always Beautiful. That song just kills me everytime I hear him sing it, but especially live. I think it's a combination of what it means to him and what it means to me--that song has lifted me up when I've gone thru some truly terrible times in the last couple of years and the emotion Gary puts into it every time out is the highlight of his live show for me.

I would have to say that the man is what brings me to the concert....I really would love to see him sing Like It's a Bad thing..but it wasn't on the set list when I saw him back in november But I have to say the song I that really got me live was Life Ain't Always Beautiful. The last year has been a little tough in my neck of the woods and that song really just helped me get through.. And the way he sings it will just blow you away...The other song that does it for me is Nothing on But the Radio..I just love the beat and it's just gets my blood going It's one of those songs that puts me in a good mood when I hear it.

The song that brings me to the show is "Alright Guy" I love when he does that one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love them all but when he sings Man of me, that one gets me. My Mom loves Drinkin' dark whiskey. She says they really rock on that one. Yea, She's 65 to.

I have to agree, its the man that gets me there.... but Life Ain't Always Beautiful...always makes me want more...

RWINTB gets me everytime, and Breakdown makes me go back for more!

When I watched Gary sing NOBTR when he was touring with RF- I was HOOKED!!!! Can't wait to hear She's So California live!

So Many....I guess that if I have to pick one....RWINTB would have to be it, it is the one song that really got me hooked, even though I was a fan prior it is the one that sealed the deal!

Mine is "breakdown" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers- I really wish he'd record it!!!

Her Man - Just Got back from Hell - Alright Guy - Smoke Rings - really all of them - draw on a different emotion or high - Right now I'm looking forward to hearing the new ones - esp. Livin Hard - Half My Mistakes - guess he's gonna need 2-3 hours to sing them all

All His songs are great however what brings me to the show is the AWESOME GARY HIMSELF!!

It isn't just one song that brought to the show it was him!!
But I do love to see him sing all of his songs. It is all the different emotions and excitoment he brings to the live show that keeps me coming back. I really do love:

What brings me back is Gary himself. He always leaves me wanting more and more. His voice is from heaven! You know how on some other artist cd there's a few songs you like and some you don't? Every cd I have of Gary's I LOVE every song! There's not one I don't like. MmMMmM mMMmMmm love me some Gary Allan!

It's not a song, it's the man himself. Life Ain't Always Beautiful gives me chills every time I hear it live. There is just something about his voice on that one.

That is a tough one...I have to say that I agree with most that have already posted - it's Gary himself that gets me there. I really enjoy his stage presence. But if I had to pick a song that gets me, it would probably be "Feeling Like That". It's the one that he starts the show with, so maybe that's why...
