I have always loved Garys music-past and present,when his wife died my heart really went out to him. Well now this new cd has come at me like a freight train.
My husband committed suicide on December 3rd........I feel like someone put a gun to my chest and pulled the trigger,but I'm still breathing. There is just a huge hole left. How he managed to survive this kind of tragedy and pain,while being in the public spot light says volumnes about his strength,character and determination to go on.....Gary, I can honestly say "I know how you feel".
You are an inspiration to me..thanks for your gift to all of us..You are helping me heal.

I don`t know what it is about Gary Allan,but he has a way of giving us hope,understanding and peace with his actions and his music.He is amazing!!!! Sorry for your loss,my thoughts and prayers are with you.

It's because his emotion is real, the first time I ever heard him sing BIEH, 7 months after his wife passed, I cried my eyes out......you could just feel the pain in his voice, it was the most emotional performance from anyone I have ever seen in my life. Months later when TAO came out and I listened to it for the first time I cried again because I could feel the same emotion.
