I'm asking for prayers from all of you for my 12 year old nephew. he is the son of my identical twin and he and I have always been very close--he's like another son to me. Without getting into too much detail, this wonderful boy has been bullied all year long at school and now his health is suffering because of it. He has a bleeding ulcer because of all of the stress and is now suffering from some other unknown stomach problem. The dr.'s can't figure out what exactly is wrong with him, but he can barely eat and is losing alot of weight. he also nearly refuses to go to school, and has hysterical crying fits every morning before school. he is seeing a counselor and a team of doctors, but his parents don't know what else to do for him. So, I'm asking all of you to please pray for him. Please pray for healing of both his body and his spirit. I am so worried for him and I strongly believe in the power of prayer.

Your nephew will be in my thoughts and prayers. He is way to young to be dealing with this now. Please let him know that his extened family will be there for him and will be thinking and keeping him in out thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear this, I will pray for your nephew. Maybe it's not possible for your nephew's family, but I have found that Cyber Charter School works very well for my kids and keeps them away from all the negative things about school.

God Bless him & at the same time sounds like someone at the school in an authority position needs to step & stop the bully. There is no excuse for it to be allowed or overlooked.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all of their prayers, good thoughts and posts. All of my nephews test came back negative, so there doesn't appear to be anything physically wrong with him. The bully has been dealt with, and my nephew is in counseling to help him sort some things out. I hope things get better with him. We found out some stuff over the weekend that we didn't know before, so I hope things will improve from here. Thanks again, Junkies, it really helped to read all of your kind words.

Your nephew is in my prayers also.I know what he's going through.My little brother is having the same problem with being bullied by the teacher that he has and also from other kids.So i know what you mean.But i'll say a prayer for him.He's to young to go through that.But tell him that we love him and if there's anything we can do let us know....

You're nephew is in my prayers also. I have two young nephews that I would hate to see this happen to. Why do kids have to be so mean to each other. Is there any way his parents can transfer him to another school? Or maybe sign him up for internet schooling. I'll be praying for him.

They considered transferring him back to public school--he's in a very small Catholic school now---but his counselor he's seeing told then to try and wait it out, that it would destroy any self confidence he still has. He seems to be doing a little better this week--he's actually been at school every day except Monday, so I hope he's getting better.

I'm so happy your nephew is all right and really happy the bully was dealt with because my younger and handicaped sister was bullied at school and she also went through fits in the morning because she didn't want to go to school. It was really bad. Unfortunalty the school didn't do much. And my little cousin stood up for her and got into a fight with two other girls who were teasing my sister and my cousin got suspended and the others had nothing happen to them even though they were causing the problems! So it makes me extremly happy to know that your nephew doen't have to deal with that bully anymore!
